Anyway, enough of me blabbering, please continue to read on to your hearts content and please leave a review when done as your opinions matter.

~Trusting you is my decision. Proving me right is your choice~

Now this was no ordinary darkness, it was thick, black, almost like a blanket as it covered everything from the sky to the ground, not letting anything be seen, not even the light could penetrate it, it was pure darkness.

A dark chuckle was heard, looking back at the entrance of the castle a dark figure stood there and it was not human.

It was tall, twisted, like the body of a person who was forced to grow three times its size all of a sudden, its skin was ashen gray, on its back bones stuck out and had skin stretched and spread through it making some kind of wings. Its black eyes stared at amusement at Elsa then at Anna before reaching behind him, taking something and holding it out for then to see.

It was Hans!

"Hans!" yelled Elsa as she took a step forward but fear kept her from running over to him as this... thing... had him in its clutches.

She was not alone as even Hans looked terrified as he was wrapped and bound in black misty chains, but he did his best not to show fear in the face of what could very well be described as pure evil.

Without a word the thing dangled Hans in front of Elsa and Anna. Showing off what it took from them then pulling Hans behind it and out of Elsa and Annas sight.

It was a dare, it was silently telling them "If you want him back so badly, come and get him, I dare you!" before backing away into the darkness till neither it or Hans could be seen.

Then it was like time resumed again, screams filled the air as the darkness came down faster than before.

Turning around Elsa and Anna ran along with the rest, but not before Elsa shouted "DON'T WORRY! I WILL SAVE YOU!" as loud as she could as she hoped Hans would hear and not give up.

How will she save him she did not know... but she will find a way... no matter what it took...

Screams rang through the islands as the darkness consumed everything in its way. As people ran Elsa and Anna followed them close by, looking back she saw the darkness get closer and closer, swallowing everything and everybody that got caught.

Not stopping everybody ran, scattered, soon Elsa found herself back in the mountain, how she got there so fast with everybody she did not know it care. Entering through the opening Elsa stopped to breath as she watched people pile inside, as soon as everybody was inside the mouth of the mountain closed, keeping the darkness away.

As she regain her breath Elsas hearing seem to get better, her arm hurt, looking she saw Anna struggling against her hand, to free herself from her grip as she shouted "LET ME GO ELSA! WE HAVE TO SAVE HIM!".

Letting her sister go Elsa face Anna, her face was pale, in shock maybe, Anna was the opposite, it was red, tears streaming from her eyes.

"How could you just leave him!?" shouted Anna as tears fell,

"Anna-" began Elsa but was not able to finish as Anna did a right heel turn and began to march right over to the closed opening of the mountain that led outside into the darkness.

Seeing this the group of survivors screamed and yelled at her, trying to stop her. But Elsa got to her first and stood in front of Anna.

"Get out of my way!" Snapped Anna at her,

"Anna please, your not thinking straight! You cannot go out there on your own!" said Elsa trying to reason with her,

"WHY NOT?! I HAVE ALWAYS DONE THINGS ON MY OWN! HOW IS NOW ANY DIFFERENT?!" snapped Anna angrily.

Elsa stared, there was a moment of silence as the two just stared at one another, Anna who's face was covered in tears, besides herself knowing that Hans was in the clutches of whatever that monster was and said monster was doing who knows what to him, Elsa the same but more quiet as she though back.

She though carefully reflected before sighting "You are right Anna", this caused Anna to look at her surprised, having her full attention Elsa admitted in sorrow "You have done everything on your own, I left you behind, pushed you and everybody away, now-" turning her head she looked away as she could not bare to look at her own sister "I never learn do I? I just keep making mistake after mistake, breaking promise after promise" shaking her head Elsa looked at Anna and said "Let me help you Anna, let us work together, you don't have to trust me, but please let me help you, let us work together to save him... he should not have to pay for my mistakes" Elsa extended her hand towards Anna.

Anna hesitated as she looked at Elsa, her words resounded in her mind, no... no! She was not falling for that again! Elsa may be her sister, but experience has shown her she is not a trust worthy person.

Elsa says that now but how does Anna know she will not bail or break her promise like the many number of times Elsa has done in the past?!

Crossing her arms Anna was ready to yell at her to take a hike, that she did not need her help in saving Hans. She could very well do it on her own, but soon her mind went back to Hans.

She saw him, he was so terrified as that monster held him captive before dragging him to the darkness. She remembered the words she told him for something he had no part in, something that if she was now sure was Kristoffs fault.

Bile raised from her stomach as it took everything Anna had not to puke, the finger which held Kristoffs ring burned. Angrily she ripped it from her hand and threw it away, the ring hit the cavernous wall before landing who knows where.

Shaking with rage Anna breathed and calmed herself as she knew it was not the time or place. She though and realized yes she could do this alone, but what if she failed? Then who will save Hans?

Her eyes went to the crowd of people, she doubted any of them would dare to lift a finger to help. But Elsa...

With a heavy breath Anna made her choice, not that she had many to begin with and said "Okay, but this changes nothing".

Elsa nodded before saying "Come with me... I think I know who can help us".

Locked away in a tower, Hans found that rather ironic as he was pressed against the wall, dark shadow chains holding binding him, pinning him against the wall to keep him from escaping.

Yes this had the makings of a fairytale, a fairytale gone horribly wrong.

To think that if everything had gone right he would have not been in this mess. He would have probably been married by now, maybe with a kid or a kid on the way, whichever one was a dream come true for him, a home, a family that actually wanted him.

Instead he was locked away in a tower like some damsel in distress, dead as a dead can be, his body decomposing, it was a fate worse than death.

Looking down Hans sighted as it made him think, why was he still around? He was a draugr, draugr are created due to revenge or some kind of unfinished business. Hans had non, he once wanted revenge, but not anymore, yes he was still angry at Elsa, he had not forgiven her but he did not want revenge anymore. Unfinished business, he had non as far as he knew, Anna hated him, she did not love him anymore and...

He had nothing, no reason to stay, so why was he still there when he had no reason to?

A loud clank was heard as the door opened. Hans grew tense as the monster who had kidnapped him stepped into the room. It's ashen skin made it seem like all the color of the world was gone, it's dark eyes shone with an evil intent and amusement as he walked over to Hans, smirked showing its row of jagged teeth before raising his hand.

Hans flinched as he waited for the blow, a blow which never came, instead the monster patted him on the head as if he was a school age boy before turning around and leaving, quite pleased with itself and what it had accomplished.

What it wanted? Hans had no clue, but he knew he did not was to find out. Looking up and around he tugged and pulled, he paused for a bit when he felt the chain give away a little bit on his right arm.

"A weak link" though Hans and he continued to tug and pull, determined to escape one way or another.

Determination coursing Elsa led Anna further down into the mountain, to the very heart of it. Stopping Elsa called "Mountain! We need your help!".

There was silence, no answer, Anna stared, not wanting to think that Elsa was going insane. When the mountain answered.

"It has been long over due" said the mountain making the room vibrate with its voice that seem to calm out of nowhere "Now you see what you and your sisters wrought over the world",

"We? What do you mean we? We did nothing!" snapped Anna in anger at the accusation.

"You did, you two did a lot, it does not matter as what is done is done and there is nothing that can be done" said the mountain,

"There has to be something! Hans life is in danger!" said Elsa.

There was no answer at first before the mountain said "Why?",

"He... he cannot suffer for... please... lend us some help... any help" Elsa begged.

The mountain did not answer, maybe it was thinking of what to say before answering "There is a way, but the success will be up to you all" with that the floor began to shake and open to reveal a small ball, about the size of tennis ball, gold in color "This ball will show you a path through the darkness".

Nodding Elsa walked over and took it as she did the mountain said "The devil troll, that is the enemy you faced, an ancient evil from olden times, sealed away till you two released him",

"We-",

"Shush!" silenced the Mountain before speaking again "He has been watching you two, he knows you two",

"He knows us? Everything? How can we beat him if he knows everything about us? He will just predict what we will do next! How can we beat something like that?!" asked/demanded Anna as the situation seemed more and more hopeless.

"That is up to you two to figure out, its time to go, from here on out your choices will determine victory or defeat, get the truth mirror back! Reveal its true form as the reflective blade! Only then will the devil troll be defeated once and for all" said the mountain before nothing else was said as Anna and Elsa felt the mountains presence leave.

Looking down at the golden orb Elsa held it out, Anna nodded and took it.

"Let's do this"

With that the two headed out, people cried and yelled as they opened the stone exit, outside there was a wall of darkness. Anna held out the golden ball, it began to shine before lighting through the darkness, said darkness parted allowing Elsa and Anna a clear way through.

Turning they looked at the people, who looked like they were not eager to go anywhere. Looking back into the clearing both Elsa and Anna made their way into the darkness, which closed in behind them as they made their way through.

Slowly making their way through Elsa and Anna were holding unto each other's hand. Fearing that if they let go they will be separated.

All around whatever the darkness touched was twisted in horrible ways, the trees were twisted and dark in a way that it was as if they became an idea of what a tree should be but not quite. People were around as well, but their faces, they were twisted and seemed to be in some kind of pair or horror as they write and screamed, their screams sounding so wrong in so many ways.

"What is this?" Whispered Anna scared,

"I don't know" answered Elsa as she stuck close to her sister as they continued their way.

Suddenly there was tells, running over the two saw a battle, the draugrs Elsa had seen fighting against shadow like creatures.

It was a brutal fight, the draugr were loosing, finally the shadows captured the draugr army by binding them with the shadows.

The group struggled to no end as they were dragged away. Once gone Anna got up and ran, Elsa grabbed her and demanded "What are you doing?!",

"I have to help them!" said Anna,

"No, we have to stick together!" said Elsa,

"We can not let them get hurt!" snapped Anna as she pulled her hand away. Standing she glared "Let me do this! You go ahead and save Hans, I will follow close behind with an army"

Elsa looked, silent before nodding and hugging Anna "You will do great". Anna hesitated, but did not hug her back, simply pulled away nodded before sneaking after the shadows.

Alone Elsa turned and continued her way to the castle of the isles. Anna will do her part, she will do hers, they will work together, independently, but together. Each one doing their part will lead to victory.

The golden orb shone, it was her only light in the darkness, the only thing that helped her find her way as the light cut through the darkness and made a path.

Slowly she made her way through, she was scared, but determined to push through, one way or another.

"Your not strong enough to beat me" the devil trolls voice rang through her head, over and over, taunting her, making her feel nervous. She would have turned back and left with her father and the rest had the image of Hans not popped in her head over and over.

Him alone, somewhere in the darkness, at the mercy of the devil troll, because he chose to save her instead of saving himself.

Then her mind went back to the group and her father, all of them refusing to help...

If she did not save him... nobody would... she just could not leave him! Not after everything that happened!

Arriving to the castle she almost turned back when she found two people standing watch, they looked normal, like any guard she had seen, but these guards... they were wrong.

The color that they once had was gone, there was nothing but gray and white, the faces they had terrified her the most, for they had non. Where their faces were was nothing but a cloud of distortion which twisted here and there, not letting any features form.

Despite the lack of eyes they knew she was there as they raised their swords and marched over to smite her. Raising her hands she automatically was going to shoot ice only to realize... she had non...

Looking at her hands it was the first time Elsa realized she was truly alone. There would be nobody and nothing to help her, no sister to rely on, no ice powers to use, no Hans to help her... it was just her and her alone.

Taking a stance Elsa took out a dagger she had brought, it was not much, but it was something to defend herself with.

She waited for them to come to her, the first one attacked her, using the dagger and all the strength she had she slammed it against the sword in just the correct angle which caused a transfer of strength, said transfer caused the distorted soldier be be thrown off of the bridge.

When that happened the other soldier became distracted as it sought to help. Taking that chance Elsa ran over the bridge, pass the guards and gate and into the palace.

Slamming the door clothes she pressed her back against it for a brief second before she ran and blocked the door using the chair to block the door.

It would not keep it locked, but it would keep it lock enough to allow her to escape.

With that she turned and left, running upstairs and pass hallways. Not carrying, her goal was in mind. The first step was complete, she was inside the castle, so the rest will fall in place soon.

Slowing down the found herself facing the door that led to the throne room. Placing a hand to the heavy door Elsa hesitated feeling the coldness against it.

Funny how fitting it was, her adventure started in a throne room, now it will end in a throne room.

Soon she felt a presence behind her, followed by the voice "Are you ready?", at that moment Elsa hesitated before saying "Yes",

"Remember the devil troll has to be stopped, no matter what price you have to pay" she heard.

"I will" said Elsa before pushing the door open and revealing what was inside.

The place was dark, temperature dropped so low she could see her breath in front of her. Tugging on her oversized coat Elsa stepped into the pitch black room.

One, two, three, she counted the steps as she took them, using the light of her golden orb Elsa shined it all around to see the environment around her.

What she saw was disturbing to say the least.

Set side by side along the path were small broken theaters made out of mirror and color glass shards. Shining the light on them Elsa felt her blood run colder and colder.

The theaters features events of her life, the first one showed her and Anna as little girls, playing around in the parlor, it was so perfect, a perfect picture of that memory, though the marionettes of her and Anna were broken and dirty.

Next to it showed the ice castle, a perfect replica, a marionette of herself in her ice dress in the scene of her song. Looking at it made her shiver.

Besides that one showed the scene of her, Anna and Hans, when Anna performed... was it even an act of true love? Was it even real? Elsa was not sure anymore. Looking closer she noticed the marionette of Hans was missing his head.

Frowning she took it into her hand, she sighted and prayed he was okay before putting it back and moving unto the next one.

As the little theaters went on they became more and more disturbing.

She saw the scenes of when she, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf went to the forest. Instead of beautiful autumn forest, it was a dark decaying one, full of draugr and monsters.

The last two showed a marionette of herself in her "fifth spirit" dress... but it was of ugliness and instead of her singing to her mother or at least her memory or spirit... she was singing to the...

"Devil troll" whispered Elsa in horror as she stared at the marionette of the devil troll holding a mask in the shape and form of her mothers face, as she backed away only to slam against something. Turning around Elsa was ready to stab whatever it was with her dagger she was relieved to find it was Hans, he was okay.

He struggled against the shadowy vines which twisted and grew tighter, keeping him in place. A shadow over his mouth to keep him quiet as he struggled,

"Humm! Hummm!" Hans tried to call out to Elsa,

"Hans!" said Elsa relieved as she moved her dagger to use it to free him "Your okay, I will get you out" she promised but before she could free him she felt something slam against her head with such force it sent her flighting across the room, landing in her shoulder against a step.

Holding her arm Elsa cried out as she held her shoulder which began to throb in pain as she slowly got up.

"I admire you Elsa, you really did surprise me" she heard a dark voice chuckle, looking up she saw the devil troll approach her, his body a twisted version of what was once Stephen and a monster. Its gray skin shone shimmered in a coat of ice as the light hit it.

Flexing its claws the devil troll smirked and added "I was so sure that you would run away like a coward, but I can be wrong every now and then" he smirked at her "Makes things more interesting",

"You don't know me" hissed Elsa as she got up on her feet and held out her dagger.

"Oh but I do" purred the devil troll "After all, it was I who made you and your sister into who you are today",

"No! You did not! I... I am me! Anna... she is Anna! You have no control over us!" said Elsa as she threw the first attack, trying to stab the Devil Troll.

He dodged causing Elsa to trip and fall to the ground, as she lay there he continued "No, you are not, everything you two have, everything you two went through, it was all of my design, my control. It was I who kept your sister from freezing, it was I who gave you power" his smirk grew louder as he added "Remember this?" clearing his throat and began to vocalize.

Elsas eyes widen as she covered her ears, it was the same song, the song in the ice cave, that she..

"No... no... No! That's not!" trembled Elsa as she slowly got up,

"Its is! It is! Get it through your head! I am both your master! I own you two! Everything you two have! Everything you two are is because of me!" growled the Devil Troll "You are nothing without me!",

"No!" Elsa cried out as she turned and tried to attack the devil troll only for him to give her a good solid punch on her stomach followed by a round house kick, throwing her to the ground.

Falling to the ground Elsa got up and ran to attack, again and again she tried. Again and again she failed as the devil troll kicked and punched her, predicting her moved with ease allowing him to block or counter attack her.

Elsa gasped as the force of the next kick threw her against the ground. Batterer and beaten Elsa groaned in pain as she looked up weakly at the massive distorted figure before her.

The devil troll smirked at her as he had proven his point, she was no match for him, he made her, he morphed and set the events which made her who she was. He knew her weaknesses, her strengths, he knew what made her tick and what broke her, so it was amusing to say the least to see her try and stop him even when she knew it was futile.

Raising his three clawed foot the Devil troll pressed it against Elsas body, pinning her against the floor as he taunted "I told you, I am more powerful than you" before raising his foot, ready to stomp on her to death but before he did he screamed when Hans charged at him after freeing himself from the shadowy grasp of his vines, slashing him with an unseen force.

Coughing Elsa weakly got up and looked up at Hans, when she did she noticed he had a dark aura surrounding him. Her eyes widen in horror as she realized what he was doing.

"No... stop" Elsa tried to scream as she reached, but her screams came out as gasps which Hans ignored.

Looking up at the stunt Devil troll Hans eyes turned full on black as he pointed his open hand at him and spoke

"I Call a curse of blackest night" his voice distorted as the words left his mouth.

Elsa panicked as struggled to get up to her feet, trying to stop him.

"From the deepest reaches beyond our sight

Unawoken horrors that light forsake

Break the unbreakable in your wake"

Black veins began to appear and spread through Hans body, focusing mainly on his hand as he lifted it up.

"I incurr your abhorrent might To summon forth a deathly blight"

The darkness gathered and formed a sword in his hand as the fatal curse reached it zenith.

"Blacken my heart with unrivaled power

And end my foes final hour"

As soon as those words were spoken the sword like energy pulse with dark light and power before Hans threw it at the devil troll.

It pierced the devils trolls chest and sent him flying across the room where he slammed against the wall which broke and came crashing down on top of it.

Silence settled in the area, Hans staring, praying the draugrs curse work, Elsa starring in shock and horror of what Hans did. He had told her the consequences about the draugrs curse, the price he had to pay if he used the curse, regardless of there being a good reason being doomed to damnation was not worth it!

Before she could speak Hans turned and began to check on her "Are you okay?",

"Yes, I am okay but-",

"Are you sure?! He nearly stomped on you!" said Hans worried,

"I am fine! But your an idiot! Why did you do that?!" Elsa finally screamed at Hans making him jump back,

"Pardon? Did you want me to let him stomp on you?!" said Hans insulted,

"I rather him do that than you being doomed to hell!" Elsa screamed, tears spilling from her eyes then asked "Why did you do that? Its not worth it..."

Hans looked down, at first not saying anything then said "Your worth it..."

This surprised Elsa as she looked up at him, Hand sighted "I am already doomed, your not... I could not let you die knowing you had a future and family waiting for you",

"Why?" asked Elsa softly, Hans though then shook his head before saying "I don't know... guess I am crazy enough to believe that you at least cared about me...", he did not look at her when he said this.

Gently Elsa reached and took his hand "I care about you...Thats why I do not care what I have to do... I will make sure we both somehow get out of this... together...", looking up at her Hans chuckled and said "Don't make promises you cannot keep".

Before Elsa retorted to this there was a rumble, debri moved as the Devil troll got up. He chuckled and said "You think a little draugrs death curse will work on me? Ha! I am the devil troll! I am above you! I am- AH!"

Clutching his chest the devil troll bend down, Elsa, Hans and the troll himself look in shock as dark marks and runes appeared on the devil trolls skins...

At that moment they realized...

The curse had worked... and it had marked the devil troll for death...

Growling at this realization the devil troll said "Seems I underestimated you..." looking up at the two in a gaze that promised death "I will make sure not to do that again"

Tensing both Elsa and Hans stood their ground as the devil troll approached them, menacingly.

"What do we do?" asked Hans as he held up his fists.

"The spirit of the mountain told me to beat him we need to unlock the truth mirror to reveal the reflective blade" said Elsa,

"How do we do that when the devil troll-",

"The Reflective blade? Ha! You two won't be able to unlock that! Only a person who has faced and accepted the truth can summon the reflective blade" laughed the devil troll "Neither of you have the courage or strength to face and accept the truth of how things are" as he said this he took out and held out the truth mirror.

Elsa and Hans moved to try to escape, but the devil troll was faster, the truth mirror glowed.

"Lets see if you two are strong enough to face the truth" they heard the devil troll say as their visions blurred as the mirror glowed and glowed before there was a crash, the mirror broke in three pieces, disappearing as it took them to hell... or the closet thing to hell there was...

Yells were heard as the draugr were forced into a cave, Anna stood by hidden in the shadows of the tree, watching as the shadows locked the cave with a large boulder using a combination of runes.

As she watched and memories Anna hissed and held her head, groaning softly she winced against as she felt the pain hit her worse than before. It was like somebody was hitting her head with a mallet and an ice pick.

Looking down at her hands she began to feel groggy as her vision began to blur, then the next thing she knew she fell to the ground, hitting the side of her head and laying there as if she was dead as the darkness surrounded her vision.

To be continued...
