Loki had just been taken out of the sky as she flew over the top of the tower. She let the wind take full control of her as she did a back flip into a front roll mid-air. She looked up and shook the stones out of her hair. She stood up and found Selvig leaning against one of the safety walls. She slowly walked towards the generator and decided to address him.

"Doctor" she says hoping he's back to normal.

He stares at her blankly, "Loki's scepter, the energy...the Tesseract can't fight. You can't protect against yourself" he rambled on trying to explain his actions. She had seen Clint after he'd woken up, she'd never seen him look so broken.

She stepped in front of the machine while trying to reason with him "It's not your fault. You didn't know what you were doing but luckly your remembered how to put in a safe guard, do you have it"

"Yes"

Now all they had to do was get the scepter away from the landing pad.

Tony was flying through the air shooting lasers at the huge whale trying to penetrate it when he suddently got an idea.

"Sir, we will lose power before you cut through that shell" JARVIS informs him.

"JARVIS. You ever hear the tale of Jonah" Tony was sweating, tired, it had been a crazy 24 hours and he was ready to be done with it. Considering what Tony was about to do his AI's repsonse was perfect,

"I wouldn't consider him a role model" JARVIS says before Tony shoots the whale making its mouth open. Tony flies straight in and aims missiles everywhere making the whale explode from the inside. He flew out the other end and crashed into a bus stop. He got shot in the shoulder by a Chitauri, these things were really starting to get on his nerves.

"Stark, you hearing me? We have a missile headed straight for the city" Tony heard Fury say through his earpiece.

A Chitauri hit him in the head with one of their shields "How long" he grunted trying to stop the attacks that came for him.

"Three minutes, at best. Payload will wipe out Midtown"

"Jarvis, put everything we got into the thrusters"

A few seconds of him fighting later he flew off the ground at full speed dropping the soldier that was holding onto him by his legs "I just did".

Steve caught his shield back and twisted towards a group of the soldiers with Thor next to him knocking each one out with his hammer. Steve looks up and gets shot in the stomach and falls forward. Thor sees this and comes over to protect him from the many blasts that were being aimed at him. Thor deflects a few more shots before using his strength to push a car over, crushing them with it. He throws his hammer into another group. Steve tries to get up and is thankful when Thor comes to help him up. He is bruised, bloody, and the only thing on his mind is Nat.

This entire fight his mind has not strayed from her face, her soft lips, her dark red hair against a pillow with the sunlight hitting her features, making her look more beautiful than ever. Several times his mind had gone to the weird call from the triplets and qierd questions crossed his mind like; How did Ronnie know how to hack into government software? How did the boys know how the scepter would turn off the gate? Why did they sound so scared? Okay well he understands the last one but it wasn't scared of hearing gunfire or seeing something gory, it was the tone of I have no idea what to do. He pushed all of these thoughts because he had a job to do now, and wanted to get it done quickly so he could go back to being with his love.

Thor turned his head away to make sure that there weren't any more soldiers here trying to kil them, "You ready for another bout" he asked. Steve obviously was even though you could see some blood coming out of his suit, it was nothing and would heal in a matter of hours.

"What? You gettin' sleepy" he says through the panting. While Thor's hammer comes to him.

Natasha had managed to climb down using the emergency latter to get the scepter and then climbed back up. If it had not been for her super serum she wouldn't have made it back in time.

When she got back up Selvig was opening up some of his equipment so he could keep the readings.

"Put it in the crown" he shouts.

'Ok ok' she thinks to herself 'just going to get friendly with a portal that brought an alien army here from space no biggie'

She penetrates the surrounding portal while trying her best to stay as far away as she can.

"Rogers" she shouts and Steve looks up to the direction of the tower scared out of his mind "Can anybody hear me? Does anybody copy? I can shut the portal down"

"Do it" so they can go home.

Stark comes through comms "No! Red wait"

"Stark, these things are still coming" Natasha the saw it and she knew what he was going to do

"I got a nuke coming in, it's gonna blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it"

"Pepper'll be okay Stark" Natasha shouted probably much more authoritatively than she wish she had.

"Stark, you know that's a one-way trip" Steve asks but Tony doesn't even acknowledge it.

"Save the rest for return, J." he tells his AI.

"Sir. Shall I call Miss Potts?" Jarvis asks in his ever calm voice as he heads into oblivion.

He thinks for a second "You might as well" as he gets farther from Earth the connection becomes worse and his suit is starting to lose power. The call doesn't even finish connecting before all functions shut down.

As he let go of the bomb, and it rushed towards the station, his vision became fogged and the last thing he saw was an explosion.

I am basing the backstories, birthdays/timelines/ages/powers, and any events that happened on the mcu and marvel comics. I came up with the OCs and are not based off real people. please give me any opinions/suggestions you have.
