Over the last three months life had been great for Cassandra. She and John were doing great. Since they were both experienced in long distance relationships, it wasn't a very big deal. When they did see each other it was great. They both wished they could see each other more but with their schedules they knew it was impossible. Cassandra was spending a month in Brazil for work. She'd completed her first shoot just an hour ago. She was back at the hotel and had just gotten out of the shower. She'd just wrapped herself in a towel when her cell phone rang. She went into the bedroom picked her cell phone up off the bed and sat down.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi baby." John said.
"Hi honey."
"How was your first shoot?"
"Good." "I just got back about an hour ago." "How was it on set today?"
"Good." "I miss you."
"I miss you to."
"You're in big trouble next time I see you next month."
"Oh really?" She said smiling.
"Yeah." "What are you wearing?"
"A towel."
"Ooh." He said excitedly.
She laughed. "John, stop that."
"Why?"
"Well mostly because I don't have time to play our phone sex game right now." "I'm to hungry and I need to go eat."
"Can we pick up where we left off later?"
"Of course we can." "I'll be completely naked then if you want."
"Sounds like fun."
"I love you."
"I love you too Cassandra." "Bye."
"Bye."
The next afternoon Cassandra had just finished a shoot. She was gathering up her things to go to lunch before she had to come back for another. Her back was to the door. She heard it open.
"Cassandra." A man's voice said. She knew exactly who it was and turned around.
"Riley."
"Come here." He hugged her. "It's been a long time."
"It has."
