20. Bring Back the Z!
Melemele Island: Pokemon School
At the Pokemon School, Professor Kukui is resuming the class about Z Moves lesson.
"Ok, I'll resume the class and clarify your doubts." Professor Kukui said and opens the cupboard, only to be empty. "Eh? Where's the Z-Crystal replica set?"
"You mean this?" a woman's voice asked as the woman revealed to be Professor Burnet having the Z-Crystal replica set.
"Professor Burnet!" Ash said. "Alola, nice to see you again."
"My dear, you should be careful about the things." Professor Burnet said.
"Ok. Let's start the class." Professor Kukui said and he opened the replica set box, showing replicas of 18 Z-Crystals. "These are Z-Crystals of each type. Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Flying, Fighting, Poison, Electric, Ground, Rock, Psychic, Ice, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Dragon, Dark and Fairy."
"Another cool thing about Z-Moves is that it doesn't depend on the Pokemon's type but rather, the moves they know." Professor Burnet said.
"Their moves?" Ben asked.
"Yeah, for example, Tsareena know Fighting and Grass type moves. I have both Grassium Z and Fightinium Z." Mallow said. "I got Fightinium Z after I defeated Hala in his trial."
"Oh wow, I'd really like that!" Goh said.
"Also there are Z-Crystals that are specific to Pokemon. For example, Lycanium-Z for Lycanroc." Lillie said.
Melemele Island: Forest
At the forest, the villains watching Dr. Animo's footage and they were bored.
"Ugh! Boring!" Billy said. "The class is for kids! Why should listen to this childish class, doctor?!"
"Shut up, idiot! We should listen this so we can gain knowledge and use it against enemies." Dr. Animo said.
"You need a backup." James said as he brought his Mareanie and he revealed his Z-Ring equipped with Darkinium-Z.
"Now you're talkin'!" Dr. Animo said.
Melemele Island: Pokemon School
Back at the Pokemon School, Kiawe, Lana, Mallow and Sophocles lined up for a Z-move demonstration and did the poses for their respective Z-Moves.
"Inferno Overdrive! Hydro Vortex! Bloom Doom! Gigavolt Havoc!" Kiawe and Turtonator, Lana and Primarina, Mallow and Tsareena, Sophocles and Togedemaru unleashed their Z-Moves at the pile of sandbags, causing an explosion.
"Whoa, so cool!" Julie said.
"Hey, Lillie, Gladion. How's like to use Z-Moves?" Ben asked Lillie and Gladion.
"It's pretty heartracing." Lillie said.
"You and your Pokemon are synced as one, and that sync becomes the drive that brings out the Z-Moves." Gladion explained.
"I wish we could use the Z-Moves!" Chloe said.
"Me too." Serena said.
"Me three!" Clemont said.
"Ben, can you transform into a Pokemon, please?" Sophocles asked.
"Sure, why not?" Ben said and uses the Omnitrix to turn into Rath.
"Wow, he transformed!" Mallow said.
"This alien guy is called Rath. Known for unmatched anger and strength." Rath said.
"How's he transforming into a Pokemon?" Professor Kukui asked.
"Ben uses the watch called the Omnitrix that turns him into various alien creatures." Goh said.
"Awesome!" Kiawe said.
"Unbelievable!" Lana said.
And then, the villains arrived.
"Oh great! A welcome wagon!" Dawn said.
"Hola, twerps!" Captain Nemesis said.
"Why are you here?!" Ash asked.
"Payback time." Charmcaster said.
"Now, time to be beaten, scoundrels!" Lana said.
Kiawe, Lana, Mallow and Sophocles summoned Turtonator, Primarina, Tsareena and Togedemaru for battle.
But, Charmcaster uses her psychic powers to levitate the Alolan Gang and their Pokemon.
"Ugh! What's happening?!" Kiawe asked.
"We can't move!" Sophocles said.
"Don't worry, we'll help ya!" Rath and the heroes tried to help them but they were stopped by the Team Rocket trio.
"Shall show you a proper demonstration?" James asked as he revealed his Z-Ring and Darkinium-Z, much shock to the heroes.
"Impossible! James has the Z-Ring and Z-Crystal?!" Goh asked.
James sent out Mareanie and he and Mareanie started doing Z-Move pose and once it is done, a Z-Power enveloped Mareanie.
"Okay, my friend. Black Hole Eclipse!" Mareanie leaped in the air and formed a black energy sphere that she threw at the heroes and their Pokemon.
The energy sphere became a small black hole that sucked in the heroes as well the Pokemon before exploding, the Z-Move knocked all the heroes.
"Oh no! Guys!" Lillie shouted as she, Professor Kukui and Gladion ran to help them but they were restrained by Charmcaster's psychic.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! You lose, Tennyson! We emerged victorious!" Captain Nemesis said as he removed the Z-Crystals and Z-Rings from Kiawe, Lana, Mallow and Sophocles while Kangaroo Kommando locked the Alolan Gang's Pokemon in the cage.
"Thank you, twerps for everything! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Dr. Animo said.
The villains retreated with the captive Alolan Gang's Pokemon while the psychic power disappeared, setting Alolan Gang, Professor Kukui, Lillie, Gladion and their Pokemon free.
"Are everybody okay?" Professor Burnet asked as she ran to the heroes.
"No…" Kiawe said, punching the ground in anger.
In the classroom, the heroes and the Pokemon were getting healed by Gwen using First A.I.D kit.
But Kiawe, Lana, Mallow and Sophocles were depressed for the loss of their Pokemon, Z-Rings and Z-Crystals.
The heroes, Professor Kukui, Lillie, Gladion and Professor Burnet were worried about them.
"Hey uh, guys. We know that the Pokemon, Z-Rings and Z-Crystals are super important to you. Tell us, how you got them?" Ben asked.
The Alolan Gang told to the heroes how they got their Pokemon, Z-Rings and Z-Crystals.
"Wow, I never thought these held such sentimental values." Goh said.
"We will get them back, right now!" Ash said as he stood up.
"Ash's right." Chloe said.
"We are with you, Ash!" Clemont said.
"Now let's go and bring back the Z, and the Pokemon!" Ben said.
Then, Rotom arrived in hurry.
"Everyone, we have a news!" Rotom said as he showed the news through his screen about the villains attacking the Hau'oli City, stealing Pokemon from the people using Alola Gang's Pokemon and their army.
"Oh no! The villains are here, again!" Mallow said.
"In Hau'oli city!" Sophocles said.
"Let's go!" Ash said and the heroes ran to Hau'oli City.
Melemele City: Hau'oli City
In the Hau'oli City, the villains were attacking the people and stealing Pokemon from them.
"HAHAHAHA!" The villains laughed and then, the heroes arrived.
"Oh, you brats are here?" Dr. Animo asked. "Welcome!"
The heroes and their Pokemon were ambushed by their army and Ash, Lillie and Gladion escaped along with Snowy, Silvally and Pikachu.
"You're outnumbered! Get ready for your doom!" James said.
Dr. Animo, Charmcaster, Captain Nemesis and Billy Billions equipped the Z-Rings with the Firium-Z, Waterium-Z, Electrium-Z and Grassium-Z. They started doing Z-Moves poses with controlled Turtonator, Primarina, Togedemaru and Tsareena.
Once it is done, the Z-Powers enveloped the Pokemon but nothing happened.
"WHAT?!" The villains asked in shock.
"How's that possible?! Z-Moves should've been unleashed!" Dr. Animo said.
"You have forgot one thing. You lack a bond with a Pokemon and without it, Z-Power is unstable and it will disappear." Ash said.
"Who are you to advice like an expert Z-Move master? Well, we have the Z-Rings!" Dr. Animo said as he, Charmcaster, Captain Nemesis and Billy Billions have the Z-Rings to show them off.
"You think I don't have this?" Ash said as he revealed his Z-Power Ring with Electrium-Z on it, much shock to heroes and villains.
"What?! Ash has the Z-Ring?!" Goh asked.
"Way to go, Ash! I knew he has the Z-Power Ring!" Kiawe said.
"Enough of this show-off!" Dr. Animo said and he summoned Mutated Frogs to attack Ash, Lillie and Gladion.
"Silvally, use Air Slash!" Silvally formed a ball of white energy then fires the crescent-shaped projectiles at Mutated Frogs.
Billy summoned Mini Computron Minions but Lillie had Snowy used Ice Beam to freeze them.
"Pikachu, use Quick Attack and then Iron Tail!" Pikachu ran towards Dr. Animo quickly and then it sliced his Transmodulator, freeing the Alolan Gang's Pokemon from his control.
"NOOOOOOO!" Dr. Animo shouted.
Gladion inserts Psychic type disc on Silvally, changing into Psychic type.
"Silvally, Multi-Attack!" Silvally's body becomes covered in a magenta-colored aura. It then strikes Charmcaster with its claws, causing the villains to levitate in the air and took Z-Rings and Z-Crystals from the villains then gave back to Alola Gang after freeing heroes.
Primarina, Turtonator, Togedemaru and Tsareena ran to their respective trainers for a hug.
"Alright, everybody. Let's finish this!" Ash said and his Alola team got ready.
Ash, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Mallow, Sophocles and Gladion equipped their Z-Rings with Electrium-Z, Waterium-Z, Firium-Z, Icium-Z, Grassium-Z, Electrium-Z and Dragonium-Z and started doing poses with Pikachu, Primarina, Turtonator, Snowy, Tsareena, Togedemaru and Midnight Lycanroc.
Once it is done, the Z-Powers enveloped the Pokemon.
"Z-Meteor!" The Pokemon fired various elemental attacks in the sky and then the attacks combined into large meteorite-shaped beam falls at the villains causing an explosion and sent them blasted off.
"We're blasted off again!" Team Rocket shouted.
Then, a Bewear arrived wearing jetpack and got Team Rocket.
"Bewear! You're back! We're off with a new blast!" Team Rocket said before flying out of sight.
"Hey what about us, you pink, bulky teddy bear?!" Dr. Animo asked and the Ben 10 villains flew out of sight.
The heroes celebrated their victory.
"Alright! Ash and his Alolan team saves the day!" Professor Kukui said.
"Ash, who's that Pokemon flew with Team Rocket?" Clemont asked.
"That's Bewear, a friend of Team Rocket." Ash said and giggled.
"Ash, why don't you have a battle with me?" Gladion asked.
"Okay, let's have battle!" Ash said and the two rivals shared handshakes.
