Chapter 21
Hazbin Hotel
Trevor and Vaggie walked up the stairs. They paused at Trevor's room.
"Well, I had a good time," Trevor said. "How about you?"
"I did too," Vaggie replied. "Shall we go for another one?"
"Oh course. Wanna choose this time, or would you like me to?"
"Uh... I'll see what I can come up with."
"No problem. Don't be afraid of cost. I can get money easily. Goodnight, beautiful."
Trevor gave her a kiss on the forehead and almost turned to enter his room, but she wasn't leaving.
"Are you OK?" he asked.
"Well, uh... the thing is... I was expecting..."
Trevor took a moment to think, before he realized that Vaggie might not have a room for herself. After all, she's probably been staying with Charlie the entire time she's been working at this hotel.
"Sorry, I forgot my manners." He held the door open for her. "Would you like to spend the night?"
"Y-Yeah, that would be nice."
Vaggie walked past him into his darkened room. He followed her in and shut the door behind him.
"You... probably want a little something, don't you?" Vaggie asked.
"And what is this 'something' you speak of?"
Vaggie's hand went to the zipper on her back. She pulled it down, and revealed her lacy black lingerie.
"Oh. That something."
Vaggie turned around. She tried to make it seem seductive, but to Trevor, it looked more robotic.
"Where would you like to start?" she asked. Her voice was low, but forced.
Trevor knew what was happening. He walked up to her, and placed his hands on her shoulders.
"Get your pajamas," he said.
"What? Why?"
"You're not ready for the 'big leap.'" Trevor took off his jacket and unbuttoned his shirt. "We can still sleep together, but we'll wait until you're actually ready."
"But, I thought that..." Vaggie couldn't finish her sentence.
"That it was customary for a couple to have sex after the first date? Some people may say that, but it isn't."
"I just thought... with your libido..."
"It may be strong, but it can be controlled." Trevor kept his back to her as he undid his tie. "If you don't have pajamas, you can sleep in your lingerie. I won't mind."
Trevor slid under the covers as Vaggie took her boots and eyepatch off. She slid in next to him.
"Goodnight, Vaggie," Trevor said.
"Goodnight," she returned. "And, Trevor?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you."
Trevor turned over and wrapped his arm around her waist. His body pressed up against hers.
"You're well worth the wait, my dear."
Loona slipped through the Hotel as quietly as she could. Without Moxxie or Millie, she and Blitzo were alone on this one. She tapped her waist one last time to make sure she still had the Exterminator dagger, and crawled as silently as possible up the steps.
Little did Loona know that the taps to her waist were loud enough to alert another hellhound, one that valued her adopted father far more than Loona did.
The white dog walked up to Trevor's floor. She tried listening for the telltale signs of sex, but none were heard. So, she had to look in each room.
Number One? No.
Number Two? Nope.
Number Three? Nada.
Number Four? Empty.
She was about to open Number Five, but a low growl caught her attention. She turned her head toward the stairs, and saw something horrifically frightening.
Another hellhound had followed her. It was far more muscular, and was covered in black fur. It's eyes glowed a hellish red that unsettled even Loona.
At first, it didn't see her. It walked down the other hallway. However, Loona knew that it would be back, so she reached for the doorknob.
It was locked, and the attempts to open it just made things worse.
The hellhound heard the jiggling of the brass knob, and looked down the hallway to see Loona, standing there with a dagger in her pocket and a hand on it's father's doorway.
The hound's eyes narrowed, and Loona swallowed nervously. She knew that she couldn't fight this hound. It was much bigger than she was, and would rip her to shreds faster than she could tear up one of Blitzo's presents.
The hellhound barked loudly, and Loona ran the opposite direction. She ran down the other set of stairs, with the larger dog chasing after her.
The black-furred hellhound tackled Loona to the ground. It growled in her face as slobber dripped onto the smaller hound's face.
"Well, look at that!" a voice said. "Another assassination attempt on my life!"
Loona looked over and saw her target crawl down to the ground, using spider limbs to keep from falling. Trevor stood next to his hellhound and patted her on the shoulder.
"Good girl, Darling," he said. "Now, could you do your father a favor and give your friend a chance to explain herself?"
The dark hound turned back to stare into the void where Loona's soul would be.
"Oh course, Dad," she said with a voice that would melt a man's heart. She pulled back and stood in a crouch.
"Now, my dear," Trevor said, "would you be so kind as to tell me who you are and who hired you?"
"Go fuck yourself," Loona growled, reaching for her dagger. She realized it was gone, and saw that Darling was holding it in her hand.
"Feisty one, eh?" Trevor chuckled. "Well, no matter. I happen to have a purse that you just so happened to drop in your attempted escape."
He held up a purse that was made in the Gucci fashion. If one were to ask him, he would say that he found it rather... odd.
"Hey, give me that!" Loona yelled, only for a growl from Darling to shut her up.
"Well, let's see." Trevor looked inside the seemingly bottomless pit of belongings. "A brush. A pack of tissues. A couple dozen unused condoms. A love note with the name 'Loona' on it. Oh, and a phone that just so happens to be ringing!"
He pulled out Loona's phone, which was ringing with Blitzo's face on the screen.
"Could you do me a favor and say something for me?" Trevor asked.
"Fuck you," Loona growled.
"Thanks." He pressed the 'answer' button and put the phone to his ear. He then spoke in a voice that was oddly similar to Loona's.
"What the fuck do you want?" he said, not breaking character at all.
"I just wanted to know how the assassination went!" Blitzo replied on the other end.
"Oh, yeah, about that. Turns out, the Loona you're talking to isn't the one you want to talk to, because the Loona you want to talk to failed her mission horribly and is about to face a terrible fate."
"Blitzo!" Loona yelled, before Trevor destroyed the phone with a simple squeeze.
"Aw, that's too bad," he said in his normal voice. "Well, I'm sure that Darling can keep you occupied until your precious Blitzo gets here."
Loona looked at the black hellhound, and saw that she was grinning evilly.
"With pleasure, dear Dad."
