Harry Potter and the Mandalorian Saboteur

I own nothing

XXV

Sabine sat by Harry's side carefully not obstructing the Mandalorian Medics as they expertly and deftly changed the medical bags, changed his sheets and made sure that he was comfortable.

"He's tasking himself too much, Lady Wren, Lady Sabine…can we talk." Bones said attracting the attention of the head and daughter of the Wren Family, then as one they nodded.

As the duo cocked their heads, stood up and moved away from Harry's bed and beneath her helmet Rachel Wren aka Bones steeled herself for the next conversation. "Bones…speak clearly and plainly. What do you mean? What do you mean my Husband is tasking himself with too much?" Sabine demanded.

Bones sighed "I served temporarily on the Forlorn with the Death Guard…Commander Potter, well it is well known that he shrugged off several blaster bolts to the chest…specifically to the respiratory system and cardiovascular system. Those injuries were not treated effectively and brushed off and coupled with his stasis sleep…which the preparations were not done suitably on his tube…the prognosis is grim."

"Bones…don't choke on us now." Ursa said grabbing her kin on the shoulder. Bones was known to get choked up on giving bad news to kin. Something that House Wren concealed from everyone; what Bones lacked in the ability to not care for her patients, she made up for with brilliant medical skills. She made Medicine and Healing look like art, which Sabine made effortlessly.

"If he doesn't step back from the majority of his duties: Jedi Master, Teacher, Bodyguard, Frontline fighter, Pilot, Strategist, Counsellor, Vizier…He could die within six to twelve months. More likely closer to six."

Those words were hammer blows to the women Sabine turned grey "Damn…Why…"

"He didn't think it was important…probably. The Commander, he always put us first…Now, he is in the position to do an organ transplant…"

Bones was distracted by a rasping cough. "Where am I?"

Sabine was by her husband side in a flash. As she grabbed his hand, she was overcome by a wave nausea and dizziness "Lady Sabine, get your ass on that bed…I need Madame Saw." Bones barked across a comm and another Mandalorian Nurse, their armour decorated in white red symbology of medics.

"Lady Sabine, alright lets get you sorted out whilst Bones talks to Henderson about your husband being bagged, slabbed and boxed."

"Not dead yet, asshole." Came Harry's raspy voice.

"Will be if you keep acting like an idiot…My apologies ladies. The Commander, a good patient he is not, is most certainly not. One of the worst."

Sabine chuckled "Okay, what do I…?"

"Nothing…just relax and let me do the work. If what I think is true, then you Lady Sabine could be key in keeping your idiot husband under control."

Sabine watched the machines with a raised eyebrow. The Mandalorian chuckled "Ursa Wren."

"Yes?"

"Congratulations, ma'am. You're a Grandmother." Ursa looked at Sabine, with a look of love and adoration in her eyes. Sabine, was reeling.

"I'm…Pregnant…oh…oh boy."

Harry looked at Bones, he was about to ask when he heard Sabine gasp "You…okay…Sabine?"

"We're…going to be parents." Came the soft reply. Harry grunted and pushed himself up the bed and he looked at the doctor in front of him.

"Bones, take that helmet off. I want to see your face…" Bones nodded and removed it her helmet. There in front of her was a much younger looking Ursa Wren but her face was much softer but her eyes held a different sort of intensity than that of Ursas.

"Commander…"

"Hadrian, please Bones…We're family."

"Please don't call me Bones then, Commander."

"Well doctor?"

Bones took a deep breath "You can't keep going how you're going…All of your injuries and current positions will be the death of you…If you keep going as you are, I anticipate just under six months until you die."

Harry looked at her. Then looked at Sabine. "What…do I need to do? I…"

Bones grinned "I understand, I get it. You're restless, you have got to do something. At any one time I am ordering you as a Doctor and your personal one, I know you Hadrian, so I am telling you: Keep your workout, because injuries aside you're in very good health, bit on the lighter side but that's fine. But in return for your positions, I recommend; I am ordering you to hand them out to people or bring people onto your team. What's more important to you? Your family or what you bring to this war?"

"Sabine…Sabine and our child comes first…"

Bones nodded "Good man. Now, you're to remain on bedrest for the next three weeks. You need to relax, the amount of injuries and lack of rest is going to be detrimental to you."

Harry nodded. "Is that bedrest here? Or bedrest anywhere as long as it is bed rest?"

"Anywhere…the only time you get up is for the loo or meals…I mean it. I am not above tying you forcibly down."

Sabine couldn't help herself "Kinky."

Ursa raised an eyebrow and left the room. Shortly afterwards Harry was wheeled into his Quarters, where once upon settling down on the sofa did Sabine act.

"Harry…I've never asked you anything or not to do anything." Sabine began, peeling her armour off revealing her toned frame. Harry watched her. "You have my attention and my curiosity."

Sabine ignored the jab, she moved forwards and placed Harry's hand where their child would be. "Harry, I love you. Please by the Force, by your own vows both as a Mandalorian and a Jetti, PLEASE don't leave me…Leave us."

Harry pulled her to him and she curled into him "Sabine Wren, I, Hadrian son of James, Head of House Potter, Head of the House Black, Jedi, Jedi Master, Mandalorian Knight, Mandalorian Master, Member of Clan Wren, House Vizla by all of these names and names known by…I swear on my blood, life, magic and honour will honour the request of Sabine Wren I swear on my blood, life, magic and honour will do everything in power to stay alive until our child is born. I swear on my blood, life, magic and honour will do everything in power to live a long life with you. I swear on my blood, life, magic and honour will do everything in power to come back to you all. So it has been said, so it shall be done, so mote it be." Harry rumbled.

"So mote it be." Sabine intoned.

Ursa had stuck her head in. She heard the vow and heard her son-in-law and daughter say 'so mote it be', when an immense pressure pushed down on her "So mote it be." Ursa intoned and the pressure lifted; then the territory of Clan Wren lit up.

(Sorry it's short but hit a brickwall with this one)
