Ron was coming down the stairs in a hurry. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny were in the kitchen talking.

"Mum, when are we leaving for London and when are you all going at hermione's place?" said Ron hurriedly.

Ginny giggled at her mum who smiled and said " Soon Ron. In afew days. Need to pack up everything before we leave. Why what happened?"

"I got hermione owl to reply and she wants to know what's going on. You know how she gets worried. Maybe she wants to come join us you know. So I have to let her know before she goes on some vacation. And you said I can't write anything in letters."

"Let her breathe Ron. Its been only a week, she probably wants to spend it with her parents." said Ginny rolling her eyes.

"I need to ask your father. Oh here he comes." After a moment he entered, "Arthur, when are we going to the Grangers. Ron wants to let hermione know."

Mr. Weasley looked at Ron and smiled, "Tell her tomorrow. But don't tell her anything in letter. Just say someone going to come tomorrow at your place. No details okay."

"Cool! And dad when you go can you ask her to join us. You know, she really wants to help the Order and all."

"Okay." said Mr. Weasley. Just then Percy apparated in the house. "Just been promoted!" Ron ran up to reply back to hermione. He was writing the reply when he heard Mr. Weasley and Percy yelling. He hurriedly finished the letter and went back to see both of them shouting and whole family looking at them.

"Im leaving. No mom, don't follow me. I don't want to live with losers like you!"

"Percy wait! Where will you go!?" and he left. Mum was crying, all of them were being sulky. Ginny told him what happened.

"If he thinks like this, let him be. Ron have you told hermione? We all are going to London tomorrow to the Order. And we will go to Hermione too once we settle there."

Hermione was waiting anxiously. Ron said they are coming today but did say the time. She had told her parents. They had canceled their appointments for today. Ron hadn't replied for a week and then suddenly his letter says tomorrow. Her parents were busy in their own work. She hadn't told them anything. She was waiting for Ron family to explain. Just then she heard a knock and she ran off to open the door. Mr. Weasley and another man was standing at the door. "Good to see you Hermione! Can we come in? This is Kingsley. We are here to talk to your parents."

"Come in Mr Weasley and Mr. Kingsley. Mom, dad they are here."

"Oh good to see you Arthur." said Mr. Granger

"You have an amazing house. What is this?" holding a remote in his hand.

"This is a remote. For the television. You know err television?" said Mr. Granger.

"It's a screen where you see things moving" added hermione.

"Fascinating!" looking at it and forgetting why he was here.

"Ahem. I think we should update them briefly first." said Kingsley.

"Oh yes!" as Mr. Weasley and Kingsley settled themselves on the sofa joined by hermione and her parents.

"I haven't told them anything yet. I was waiting for you so that they get the general idea." said Hermione.

"What is happening Arthur? Is something wrong in the magic world?" said Mr. Granger

And then, they started to explain how Voldemort has come and how harry escaped and how hermione can be in danger being his friend and how there is an Order of the Phoenix fighting and they are in London.

" And Ron has asked me to invite you to join them if you like as you are always welcome to join" said Mr Weasley looking at hermione smiling and flickering her eyes at her parents.

"Oh I would love to. Mum, dad can I go? I want to help the Order too" said hermione

His father made an angry face but didn't say anything. After a moment he said

"Is this Voldy man dangerous? And will our daughter be safe in the headquarters? This guy wouldn't come in there?" said Mr Granger.

"Headquarters is the safest place to be. With every security measure there is. We are here to put some security here too. We are going to put some spells...dont worry, you don't need to do anything. We will do everything." said Kingsley looking at Grangers shocked faces.

Hermione was keen to leave. She wanted to help the Order, she wanted to meet Ron and spend summer with them as their parents gave gotten more bitter and have gotten themselves so busy in their work that she felt they didn't have time for even her.

Mrs. Granger served them tea and said "We can send her by the end of the week if that's okay. She can spend the weekend with us and she can pack her stuff."

"She hardly stayed with us!" said Mr. Granger

"Better there than here!" said Mrs. Granger angrily.

Mr. Weasley, who had known about their bitterness said "How about we pick her up next Monday? Is that okay hermione? Ron will be happy to know you will be joining us. He keeps saying you will go to some vacation if we don't invite you soon."

"Vacations!? I never planned any vacations. Anyways that would be good Mr. Weasley. Next week." said Hermione.

"Oh dear! You wanted to take you on a vacation? Why didn't you tell us? Why not you come in Christmas and we will go skiing?" said Mr. Granger

"Dad, skiing not my thing. Anyways yes we can plan something for Christmas." she said smiling at Mr. Granger, so that she doesn't upset her Dad.

"Skiing!? Sounds fascinating! What is it abou..." said Mr. Weasley.

"Ahem. We are short of time. We better get going if everything settled then." said Kingsley. He performed afew magic and then got up along with Mr. Weasley. Both of them exchange pleasantries with Grangers and said good bye.

As hermione entered the Grimmauld Place with her luggage, she saw Ron waiting for her in the dining room along his family. He kept glancing at the door.

"Hermione! You're here!" said Ron standing up. Hermione ran upto him and hugged him tightly. She noticed all of them watching them suspiciously. She immediately let go. She was excited to spend summer with him along with helping the Order. She went up to meet everyone.

" Lunch is ready dear. We were waiting for you." said Mrs. Weasley.

"Thank you for waiting Mrs. Weasley" she said smilimg at her. They all just finished their lunch and most of them were sitting and talking away. When Ron said "well I'm glad you're here. I have so much to tell you."

"Yea he kept bugging Mum to send you the Owl. He kept saying you will go to some vacation or something." said Ginny rolling her eyes.

"Yea. Your dad also said the same. Since when did I say I will be going on some vacation Ron!" said hermione.

"Oh uh, I thought-well you might be going to-Bulgaria" said Ron in an embarrassing tone.

"Bulgaria!? Why would I... Ohhhh Viktor! Uhmmm, no I think I would rather come here." said Hermione smiling at Ron. She had decided that she is no more going to hold her feelings for Ron now.

"See! I told you Ginny, she would rather join us!" smiling broadly.

"Viktor!? Why would you..." said Ginny but immediately stopped as Hermione looked at her pointedly and stopped her talking.

As they finished up the lunch and helped Mrs. Weasley in cleaning up, they went up to Ron room. Ginny tagged along with them. As they entered his Ron, all three of them entered.

"Ginny, what are you doing here? Go away. I have to talk to hermione!" said Ron

"Ron wha..." said Hermione surprisingly and turned to look at Ginny apologetically.

"What do you mean I go away. What do you both have to talk about?" Ginny asked curiously and was smiling abit.

"Ginny Go! We have to talk about Harry okay." said Ron.

"I will come to you and night and we shall talk. Okay." said Hermione to Ginny with a smile. Ginny turned away and closed the door.

"So tell me everything! What's happening? Why are we here? Did you talk to Harry? How can we help Order?" said hermione brightly.

"This is the headquarters. Order people keep coming and going. We are not allowed, they say we are too young. Snape comes too. I couldn't owl you,they are watching the mail. Dad says ministry is after Dumbledore. If they get to know anything about the Order they are going to sack Dumbledore. Easier for You Know Who to attack Harry. Nobody in the Ministry is believing it. Even Percy. "

" What!? "

" Yea Percy left. He says Harry and Dumbledore are wrong. He got promotion and all. Dad was not happy. He got angry cause he knew Fudge did that to get close to Dumbledore allys. "

" It's awful Ron. I never-never thought Percy can do this." said Hermione close to tears now.

" He's pretty ambitious. I always thought he might do something like that. He is obsessed with being Perfect and goody good. That is why he never get along with the family you know. Both fred and George keep teasing him. And Bill and Charlie are more friends with each other. He kinda is alone. He wanted to prove himself to everyone. Anyways he's no loss."

"What about you? Who are you close to in the family?"

"Me!? Oh I don't know. I'm okay with Ginny. Fred and George, well you know they got each other. So does Bill and Charlie. Percy, well I never got along with Percy although he is a loner too in the family. But I rather be for my family then go against them. " said Ron.

Hermione had those butterflies back. It is one of those moments where Ron make her weak on knees. It was so worth it to spend summer with Ron. She was smiling at him." Yes it's good you are truly loyal to your family. But you are amazing yourself. I think you are the best Weasley." said Hermione blushing.

"What!? Noooo. Bill is! Hes so good in studies and all. Even Charlie is better. He was the Captain on Quidditch."

"Even Percy is good in studies but you're better at heart making you truly amazing!"

"But Fred and George are more funnier! Do you know they invented some many new things for their joke shop."

"Yes but you're funny too. Ron you truly don't give enough credit to yourself. You are amazing!"

"Only you think that! But thanks for that!" said Ron smiling brightly at her. Suddenly two loud cracks came and Fred and George were inside Ron room with both Ron and Hermione.

"Whaaaa.." said Hermione "you scared me!". Both of Fred and George laughed and then Fred said " Ginny said both of you are in the room and don't want to be disturbed. So we thought to see what both of you are upto" winking at hermione. Hermione blushed so hard but did not want Ron or anyone to know especially when Ron is so ignorant to it.

"What do you mean what are we upto? We never said to Ginny not to disturb. I just wanted to update hermione of everything."

"Is this true hermione? That you guys were talking only?" said Fred grinning. Oh he is good but I'm more smarter Fred.

"ofcourse! He just told me about Percy."

"Yea Percy. That was a bummer" said George.

"Yea that's awful. But you haven't told me yet why are you all here when you're not allowed in Order." said Hermione.

Fred sniggered. "You haven't told her yet Ron. Well we are cleaning here. This house is full of filth. Mum wants to make it livable. We have been cleaning abit. Now you're here too so you will be doing this too."

"yea. It's awful. She makes us work so much. I wish Harry was here." said Ron.

"Yea when is he coming?" said Hermione.

"No idea! Dumbledore wants to keep him there. He think it's safe for him to stay there. And he doesn't want us to tell him anything too." said Ron

"What!? He doesn't know anything? He must be going crazy. Oh poor Harry. His aunt and Uncle aren't exactly nice. We should atleast tell him something. Can't anyone go to his place just to talk to him not to take him away, just to tell what's going on." said Hermione. Just then there was a knock on the door. Mrs. Weasley came in.

" Ron and Hermione dear. Dumbledore is here. He wants to have a word with you "

Ron and hermione looked at each other shocked. What could possibly be Dumbledore talking to them about. He reached downstairs. Dumbledore was waiting for both of them.

"Ah Ms. Granger and Mr. Weasley. Good to see you. Come and sit down please."

Ron adh hermione sat down opposite to him. "Now that you are here, you know what we are here for. You know we are operating in secrecy. Now I want both of you to give me your word that you will not tell anything to Harry about it."

"What? But Professor Dumbledore! He will get furious. You know, he is stuck there and he really wants to come here..." Dumbledore silenced her with his hand.

"I know everything Ms. Granger but as you know Harry is being closely followed by ministry as well, any information reaching him can be disastrous for Order."

"Cant he come here!?" said Ron.

"Not yet. He will rather much safe there."

"Can someone go to him and maybe talk to him. Not take him away. Maybe just talk, cause I'm sorry Professor Dumbledore, I think he is really looking forward for any information he could have."

Dumbledore watched her and Ron thoroughly through his spectacles as though surveying them, then said" I understand your concerns, but it is unwise for him to know any information now. I do not wish to withhold information from him, rather protect him from further harm. Now your word"said with authority. They knew they had no option.

"you have our word!" said Ron.

"Oh good! Now I'm off! Molly tell mundungus hes for duty tonight."

"Oh Ron. It's so wrong. Withholding information from him. And then they are not even bringing him here."

"Hermione this is Dumbledore. We have to trust him. I don't like it. I can't even write to him. But he never asked us like that. This must be important." as they both started climbing the stairs.

"It is!" Fred and George just appeared out of nowhere.

"What!?"

"We heard all your conversation. Thanks to extendable wars"

"Extend.. " said Hermione

"we invented them. You can sneak into anyone conversation. We heard them yesterday on it. Sirius wanted to bring Harry here. Dad said ministry is being very anti Harry and are looking for a reason to sack Harry. Dumbledore didn't want any idea in Harry head. He says it is not advisable. "

" that's wierd. "said Hermione." Do you listen to every meeting? "

" We try to. You guys can join if you want. "

" Yea that would be great. "said Ron.
