Walking the streets, I wore a black coat with Wanda wearing her battle clothes. We ended up passing a hotel, heading to the place that our last informant had told us to go, with me taking notice to the three that started following us. "Toss us some coin and we'll let you pass." He said, with me looking at Wanda, with her looking back at me. "Dis us, like you're doing, and you got problems."
"Trust me, its you that has the problem." I said, with me seeing Wanda using her powers, sending a car with no wheels after them. They screamed and ran, with me shaking my head. "Is that the third or forth group?" I asked, with her shrugging.
Once inside the ally, a cat jumped off the trashcan, with Wanda looking at it while I kept my eyes forward, with Caliban walking out. "Word is, you are looking for me." He said, looking from Wanda to me.
"We were told that you have the power to find other mutants, with just your mind." Wanda said, pointing at her head as she said that.
"Who are you searching for?" Caliban asked, his voice sounding like a talking snake.
"My father, Magneto." Wanda said, with Caliban's eyes widening as he didn't expect that.
He shook his head, where he then turned around. "No, I can not help you." He said, turning his back on us.
"Then you should be able to find Pietro." I said before Wanda could lose her temper, with him stopping. "Pietro has a direct link to Magneto, so he should come to you if you get him." I said, with Wanda thinking about it.
"You will find him three cities over, there he is laying low." Caliban said, looking at me. "You." He said, facing me. "You are human." He said, with me nodding.
"I am, but I'm with Wanda." I said, grabbing her hand, with her looking at me as I did so. He nodded, turned around and jumped into the sewers, leaving us to do as we pleased.
The next day
Getting off the bus, I walked with Wanda to a dinner to grab something to eat. Once we reached the dinner, we stopped once we saw Pietro sitting down inside. Wanda became pissed, with her using her powers without knowing. She pushed both doors open, with me standing beside her. "PIETRO, WHERE IS HE!?" She demanded, with me following behind her.
"Everyone leave, S.H.I.E.L.D. business!" I ordered, showing my badge to them, with everyone rushing out of the dinner.
"Wanda!" Pietro said, getting up and backing away. "Hey, wait, listen, um, bye!" He said, where he started taking off. He was caught by his legs sticking to the ground, curtesy of Wanda's powers. He looked back at us, with me shooting an Ice arrow at his feet, trapping him. "Wanda, I have no idea where he is!" He said, looking on in fear as we approached him.
"Then tell me, how was it that you were communicating with him?" I asked, with him looking at me.
"Listen, I don't go to him, he comes to me!" He said, with us hearing police sirens.
"Then I guess we'll have to make him come get you." I said, looking over to Wanda, who waved her hand. I watched as Pietro was put in a cabinet, where she then removed the storage and tossed him in there before throwing it outside. "Lets go, we can follow his movements." I said, where we watched him get arrested before moving along.
The next day
"They are on the move." I said, watching the convoy from higher up. "The brotherhood is showing up, just like I thought." I said, with me Lances Jeep. The entire mountain started shaking, with me grabbing on for stability.
Looking down, I saw the brotherhood had started the fight. Seeing the army shooting new guns, I raised an eyebrow as I didn't expect them get a form of blaster. Sliding down the side, I jumped off and kicked Toad, with him hitting the van holding Pietro. The van was moved as the Blob came through, pushing a car at me. I jumped over it, with me spinning around and shooting a arrow at the van, putting an electric filed around it. Toad was shocked, with him falling forward.
"This is your only warning!?" I said, aiming an arrow at then. Looking at Lance, I got ready to shoot at him at him, when I took notice to a car heading my way. I narrowed my eyes as I got ready to move, only to get tackled to the side. Rolling on the ground, I aimed the bow at the person, with me seeing Rogue. "You shouldn't be here!" I said, gritting my teeth.
Getting up, I pulled out an exploding arrow, with me shooting it behind her, hitting a falling rock. I smacked Toad with my bow as he tried a sneak attack, with him rolling on the ground after he was hit, passed out. I ran over to Blob as he was pushing the Van over the edge, with me watching the Van starting to collapse and the electric filed vanishing as it was crushed. I watched as it fell, with me gritting my teeth, where I saw Kitty pop out of the Van with Pietro, who had taken off.
Once they were all gone, kicked a rock, with it going off the edge. "Everyone return to base for debrief. Mission failed." I said, looking at the soldiers, with them nodding and started to pack up.
"Hey, any chance you can give us a ride?" Kitty asked, with me looking at her.
"Ya, and I'll also tell Charles that you are out interfering with government operations." I said, not happy with her. "Pietro got away, I'm returning to you." I said as I placed my hand on my ear, looking up at the mountain.
"Copy!" Wanda said in my ear, with me making my way back to her.
"Take these two back to the Xavier Institute and inform him on what transpired here!" I said as I passed the captain, with him saluting me and giving orders to the others.
