Author's Note : I'm all about the honesty so let me share this. Originally the plan was for Aurora to die. And to showcase how Brucas especially Lucas. Her friends and the town dealt with the fallout but what i hadn't expected was the strong response for Aurora to live. After reading people's views on it. And my genuine love for the character. One Year Later
Aurora took a deep breath and linked arms with her two best girl friends Lydia and Madison. The girls along with the rest of the friend group and kids in town. Were starting school again. It was fall. The air was crisp and cool. Gone were the long summer days. The girls walked through the doors of Tree Hill to meet with guys. Jamie, Andre, and Chuck. It was now Freshman year.
The Scott Home
Lucas put away his laptop and left the home. He was so relieved that the girls who were involved with attacking Aurora were expelled. Rachel was charged with attempted murder with only added to her years in prison.
He had managed to talk the principal into allowing Aurora back into school. Assuring him that nothing like the past incident would happen again.

Brooke's Home
Brooke sends Lucas a long lengthy text. Expressing her excitement and affection towards him. She put her phone down and placed it beside her on the table.
She couldn't hide her excitement. About their upcoming date later on in the week. The couple had been officially dating for 6 months now. Taking it slow. Keeping it from the media. Holding off on sex. They wanted this final attempt at a relationship to last.
"I appreciate you meeting with me here and not in public."
"Going through a high profile divorce is difficult enough without cameras flashing in you're face and people asking questions." Victoria said.
"It's no problem. What exactly went wrong with you and daddy anyway.?" Brooke asked. Her parent's relationship had never not been full of turmoil she wondered what was the breaking point.
Victoria sighed deeply unable to meet her daughter's gaze.
"He's leaving me for his mistress. And their bastard. A son. Can you believe that. She's some B list actress. It's humiliating." Victoria admitted.
The expression on Brooke's face softened. "I'm sorry." She said. Truthfully meaning it.
