Of course, Shego's contract stated that she could work with other villains. That didn't stop her boss from asking annoying questions.
"Who are you working with?"
He was standing in her doorway as she packed a bag. "You know the Seniors? Pops wants me to tutor his son in villainy." She held up a bathing suit, frowning. Would she need one? The Seniors were loaded, so they probably had a pool. She packed it.
"Tutor?"
"Mmhmm. I guess he was impressed by the whole degree thing."
Beat. "Wait, you have a degree?"
"Child development and teaching." She zipped her bag shut and looked back at Drakken, who was still hovering in the doorway. "What?"
"Child development? Who are you?"
"Mmhmm. And an English minor." She hauled her things over her shoulder and glared at Drakken. "Got a problem with that?"
"No! It's just, I never would have thought –"
"I gotta go. Seeya, Doc." Shego walked out, leaving Drakken staring after her.
"Child development," he repeated, shaking his head. "I don't know her at all."
