Wednesday morning

"PUT IT DOWN!" Ned shouted.

Huggy was standing on the kitchen counter holding Hedy's blanket and teasing her.

"Na na na na na na!" Huggy taunted. Hedy jumped and cried for her sister to return her blanket.

"Gimme my blankey!" The 3 year old cried.

Huggy stuck her tongue out.

"Make me!"

That did it.

Ned swiped his pink and magenta daughter from the counter and snatched the blanket from her hands. Huggy kicked and whined.

"Here you go, sweetie." Ned said as he handed Hedy her blanket. The little orange girl hugged her blankey.

Now to deal with the other one.

Ned put Huggy in time out. She, of course, whined and cried about being put on time out, but Ned ignored her.

"Daddy! Harley's not sharing her WhoPod!" He heard Helga scream from the living room.

"Harley, share with your sister for 10 minutes."

"I don't want to!" Harley argued.

"Too bad!" Ned yelled back.

"Fine!"

Ned went to the playroom and saw Holiday throw an inflatable ball straight into Hula's nose. The force made her fall backwards and hit her head against the wall. A thin wailing ensued.

"Holiday!" Ned caught his daughter's attention.

The green and red daughter looked at her dad, not realizing she had been caught.

"It was an accident!" She tried to cover up what she did.

"Holiday, I saw what you did. Come with me." Ned started to turn.

Holiday stopped her foot.

"No!"

Ned turned his head and a look that could burn through bricks sent chills down Holiday's spine.

"Okay! Okay!" She pleaded as she ran out of the room for her punishment.

He put his other daughter in a different time out corner but not long after two kids were in time out, that he heard crying coming from the living room.

"Now what?" Ned groaned as he turned towards the noise.

Inside the living room was chaos.

Holly and Hilda were fighting over a game controller, Hoppy and Hippy were tugging on Happy's arms, and Hope was crying.

"Hey!" Ned said and all eyes were on him. "What's going on?"

Holly, Hilda, Hippy and Hoppy started talking at the same time.

He caught bits and pieces of each sentence.

"So, you two can't share the video game?" Ned pointed a finger at his twins.

They nodded.

"And you two want to do your jump rope routine with Happy, but she doesn't want to?" He pointed at his triplets.

All three nodded simultaneously.

"And why were you crying, Miss?" He asked Hope, who was still blubbering.

"I can't stand fighting!" Hope said as she got up and gave her father a hug.

"It's alright, darling." He comforted his light pink daughter.

Hope calmed down.

"You 5 need to get along." He said to the remaining girls. He finally noticed Harley, Hannah, and Hanavas on the couch with Helga pouting.

"Why didn't you girls stop the fighting?" He asked the teenagers.

Harley rolled her eyes. "Not my kids." She mumbled.

"Excuse you?" Ned asked.

"They're not my kids, Dad!" The oldest of the bunch said a little louder.

Ned furrowed his brow. "Young lady, I expect you to help me. You, your brother, Hannah, Hanavas, and Henrietta have been assigned to help me and your mother with the little ones."

Harley rolled her eyes again. "I don't see why I have to do it, I didn't decide to have a million kids."

Ned was furious.

"When your mother gets home, we are discussing your behavior."

Harley went back to WhoPod. "Whatever."

Ned wanted to scream, but held back.

Instead, he turned to Helga. "Where's your brother?"

"He's playing with Heart and J. J. in his room." Helga said.

"Thank you, dearest." He said, ruffling her teal hair.
