"We're going to the National Gallery," the Doctor informed setting the coordinates, "The Zygons are underneath it."

"No. There under UNIT HQ." Donna corrected, "They followed us to the Black Archive."

The Doctor's jaw dropped, looking at his companions. "The Black Archive? Really? And you didn't think that was worth telling me?"

"Got a bit distracted," Rose replied gesturing the Doctor's younger selves.

"What's the big deal?" Donna asked.

"UNIT is going to destroy London," He said, "Science leads, Kate. Is that what you meant?"

"Doctor? How are you doing that?" Kate replied.

"Space-time telegraph. A gift from me to your father, a hotline straight to the Tardis. I know about the Black Archive and I know about the security protocol. Kate, please tell me you are not about to do something unbelievably stupid.

A few minutes passed as the Doctor continued to argue with Kate, his gestures agitated and voice raising to near shout at her stubborn refusal to switch off the timed nuclear detonation.

"Kate, please, just listen to me!" the Doctor shouted as the telegraph cut. He looked at the others, "She refuses to switch off the detonation timer and she won't let us in there. Now what?"

"We don't need to land." the War Doctor said with conviction.

"Yeah, we do. Try and keep up." the Tenth Doctor disagreed.

"No, we don't there is another way." the War Doctor insisted.

"Stasis cube," the Doctor muttered, taking the phone. "Take a look at your phone and confirm who you're talking to" he demanded. "You were just talking to me. I know. I'm a Time traveller, figure it out. I need you to send the Gallifrey Falls painting to the Black Archive. Understood?" Straightening his bow tie and smiling proudly at Rose.

"You geniuses," Rose said smiling at the three Doctors. "We're going to jump into the cube and then out of the painting in the Black Archive?"

"No," The Doctors said in unison.

"There were Daleks in that painting," Eleven added. "And a nuclear warhead under UNIT HQ."

"Not to mention the Zygons." Ten added.

"You need to keep our son safe," He said stepping closer to her and kissing her forehead.

"Yeah, you're right," Rose nodded.

"They're about to murder millions to save billions. They'll think it's justified," The War Doctor said troubled.

"They're wrong." Ten said.

"I'll bring you back in as soon as it's safe," the Doctor promised, kissing Jacob's forehead and walking to the others near the cube on the console.

"Wait," Rose called, resting Jacob on her hip and dragging the Doctor back. She signalled for him to bend down to her which he did and Rose kissed him passionately.

"Oi!" Donna said turning away.

"Bit of a time crunch here!" Ten shouted as Eleven spun away. He touched the stasis cube along with others and they winked away in an instant.

DOCTOR WHO - A LITTLE LATER

Rose noticed the War Doctor in the corner, slouching in a high-backed armchair. His gloominess worried her.

"So you've got the good chair?" Rose laughed sitting next to him on a stool.

"Yes, it is mine." He replied, "Used to be in the Tardis library. Do you have any idea how UNIT managed to steal it?"

Rose giggled.

His eyes skittered, examing her for a few moments, "Why are you the Bad Wolf?"

"How do you know that?" Rose questioned and sighed, "I'm the Bad Wolf because I want what is best for you and I love you."

"That's hardly an answer."

"It's true. I became the Bad Wolf to save you. The next you specifically."

"I suppose I'll look a lot younger, like those two." He said looking over at two of his future selves.

"Not really," Rose replied, "But that face will always be my favourite; it's the face I fell in love with."

A long silence followed. "You haven't done it yet, have you? It's still in your future." Rose breathed. "He regrets it." She informed, "I see regret in his eyes every day."

He turned his head like he was facing someone, "The moment has come. I'm ready."

Rose's head turned following his line of sight, "Who're you talking to?" She turned to face him again but he was gone.

DOCTOR WHO

"I told you," Rose said; the Doctor turned watching as his wife cautiously stepped out of the Tardis, carrying Jacob, to follow him and Donna into the dusty barn. "He hasn't done it yet."

The War Doctor stood with his back to them, facing an ornate box topped with a ruby-like button. "Go away now, all of you. This is for me," he spoke without turning around.

"Help him," Rose requested as Donna nodded in agreement teary-eyed.

The two Doctors nodded, approaching him cautiously.

"All those years, burying you in my memory," said Ten.

"Pretending you didn't exist," Eleven continued, "Keeping you a secret, even from my self"

"Pretending you weren't the Doctor when you were the Doctor more than anybody else."

"You were the Doctor on the day it wasn't possible to get it right." The Doctor said facing his warrior self. "But this time, you don't have to do it alone," He laid his hand atop of the aged and then Ten added his hand. The three of them in agreement.

"Thank you," the War Doctor muttered.

"What we do today is not out of fear or hatred. It is done because there is no other way."

"And it is done in the name of many lives we are failing to save," Added Eleven.

Suddenly darkness fell. "What's happening?" Donna gasped as scenes of chaos surrounding them.

"Nothing, it's a projection," the War Doctor reassured.

"These are the people you are going to burn!" Donna said horrified.

"Donna!" Rose hissed.

"There isn't anything way." Eleven said, "Either I destroy my own people or let the universe burn,"

Suddenly, a brilliant idea flashed into his brain. "That's it!" He exclaimed taking his sonic screwdriver from his pocket, "I know how to do it! We can save Gallifrey!"

"You're not suggesting we change our own personal history,"

"We change history all the time."

"Gentlemen, I have had four hundred years to think about this," He went on, turning the idea into a fully formed plan. He pointed his sonic screwdriver at the moment, retracting the jewel-like button into the box.

"There's still a billion Daleks up there attacking," the war Doctor pointed out.

"Yeah, there is. There is,"

"But there's something those billion Daleks don't know,"

The Doctor marched towards his Tardis, "Because if they did, they'd probably send for reinforcements,"

"What?" Donna gasped, trying her best to keep up, "What don't they know?"

"This time, there's three of us," the Doctor grinned.

"Oh!" the War Doctor cried, "Oh, yes, that is good. That is brilliant!"

"Oh, oh, oh, I'm getting that too!" Ten exclaimed as he high-fived the Tardis. "That is brilliant."

"She didn't just show me any old future," Said the War Doctor, "She showed me the future I needed to see."

"Eh? Who did?" Eleven questioned.

He gazed into the air with a bright grin on his face, "Oh, Bad Wolf girl, I could kiss you."

"What are we doing? What's the plan?" Donna questioned.

"The Dalek fleets are surrounding Gallifrey, firing on it constantly." the War Doctor explained.

"The Sky Trench is holding," Ten added. "But what if the whole planet just disappeared?"

"Tiny of a bit of an ask," Donna commented.

"The Daleks would be firing on each other. They'd destroy themselves in their crossfire."

"Gallifrey would be gone, the Daleks would be destroyed, and it would look to the rest of the universe as if they'd annihilated each other." the Warrior continued.

"But where would Gallifrey be?" Rose asked.

"Frozen," Ten gleefully said, "Frozen in an instant of time, safe and hidden away."

"Exactly," Eleven agreed.

"Like a painting."

DOCTOR WHO

The stakes had never been so higher but they'd won. Gallifrey had been saved; frozen in time. The Daleks had been destroyed.

They all stood around, having tea in a private room at the National Gallery; the Gallifrey falls painting on the wall and three Tardis' lined up at the back of the room.

"I don't suppose we'll know if we actually succeeded. But at worst, we failed doing the right thing, as opposed to succeeding in doing the wrong." the War Doctor said breaking the silence.

"Life and soul, you are." Donna chuckled.

"What is it actually called?" Ten wondered aloud studying the painting.

"Well, there's some debate." Eleven answered as he glanced down at Jacob crawling on the floor with Rose smiling brightly at him. "Either No More or Gallifrey Falls."

"Not very encouraging." the War Doctor muttered. "Well, gentlemen, it has been an honour and a privilege."

Ten nodded, "Likewise."

"Doctor," Eleven added.

The War Doctor bent down and brushed a gentle hand over his future son's hair, "Take good cause of him."

"Of course."

He then hugged Donna, before turning to Rose, "I believe I'll see you rather soon."

Rose laughed, "Don't forget to ask me twice!"

"I won't remember this, will I?"

"The time streams are out of sync. You can't retain it, no." Eleven informed.

"So I won't remember that I tried to save Gallifrey rather than burn it. I'll have to live with that. But for now, for this moment, I am the Doctor again. Thank you." He said, taking a moment to scan the three time machines "Which one is mine? Ha!" He joked, walking into the shabbiest one.

"I won't remember either," Ten said, "So you might as well tell me,"

"Tell you what,"

"How I meet Donna again? How Rose finds me again? How this baby happened? And how Rose became a Time Lord?" Ten listed.

"Spoilers," Eleven joked.

"See you soon Donna!" Ten exclaimed hugging her tightly.

"You bet spaceman!" Donna exclaimed back.

He picked Jacob up from the floor, "See you later little man," He said passing her over to Rose. "Goodbye, love," He kissed her cheek, before walking up to his Tardis to say his famous last words, "I don't want to go."

DOCTOR WHO - LATER THAT DAY

The Doctor and Rose lay down in bed facing the ceiling.

"What a day? Eh." Rose commented.

"I know. Amazing day." the Doctor replied, turning his head so he could face Rose. "I love you."

"I love you too, Doctor." She replied, "Always have. Always will. No matter the face."
