Weapons

Torpedoes: Fast-moving underwater propeller driven Bombs. Armed with the latest in target tracking technology. Contains non-nuclear explosive heads.

Analogy Torpedoes: In the event of hacking of targeting systems. Old fashioned WWII era analogy torpedoes are also available.

Laser cannons: Fires blasts of Tactical Lasers at an enemy craft.

Underwater Drones: the Sub stocks a variety of Recon and Attack drones.

Waterjets (WJ-100s): Jet-fighter Shaped highly maneuverable underwater Fighter Craft.

Attack Subs (AS-220s): Sleek, streamlined, Penguin-shaped Attack Submersibles.

Secret Weapon: well…it's a secret…A Top Secret.

Other Features

Multiple Hanger Bays: Floodable Hanger Bays store and launch the Sub's cargo of fighter craft and drones.

Repair Submersible: For repairs of the exterior of the vessel

Nuclear Reactor: Uses a Nuclear reactor to Power the Sub. The cooling system draws in water from the surrounding ocean. The Warm water that exits the cooling system is funneled into a chiller until it matches the temperature of the surrounding water and released back into the ocean.

Desalination plant: Converts Ocean water into potable water using a reverse osmosis filter.

Hydrolysis plant: converts water into Oxygen and hydrogen…The Oxygen is distributed around the submarine and hydrogen is converted into fuel for the various fighter craft in the hanger bays.

Co2 elimination system:

Submarine bay: hidden in the underside is a hanger that contains the docking system of the Leviathan's reconnaissance submarine the S.S. Ensign.

Evacuation system: The Sub comes equipped with two Evacuation Pods that can each hold half the crew. They come equipped with emergency distress beacons and communication systems so the pods can be in contact. The Pods also come stocked with supplemental oxygen, medical supplies, and food and fresh water. Also come equipped with solar panels and a propulsion system.

Repair bay: a large bay for the repair of damaged fighter craft

Crew area: contains spacious sleeping accommodations, a full service galley and cafeteria, meeting rooms, Fighter craft pilot common area, a med bay and surgical suite, a gymnasium, science labs, arsenal, personal movie theater, workout room, game room, crew common room, on board training simulator captain quarters, and admiral suite.

The bridge: contains all the navigation, weapons, steering, and other control stations. Also contains a thick bullet-proof window with anti-laser/explosive shutter. Also contains a suite of cameras, connection to an orbiting observation satellite, GPS, Side-scan sonar, ground penetrating sonar along with regular sonar, Lidar, advanced navigation and targeting computers, and analog backup systems and Emp shielding. The Bridge can also be locked down in the event of mutiny or hostile takeover.

Impeller: shoots jets of water out the back of the vessel using a jet-engine powered pump. Allows for exception maneuverability in the water. Increased by maneuvering jets on the sides, front, top, and bottom of the vessel.

Emergency Backup Propeller and Rudders: In case the impeller and maneuvering jets fail.

Stealth mode: Not much is known about stealth mode some believe it's a cloaking or invisibility device. Other believe that the hull has Sonar disrupting properties similar to the Radar-blocking properties of a Stealth-bomber or stealth-fighter. All that is known about stealth mode is that the metal window shutter is closed, and the Sub goes Radio-silent. Also, non-vital functions are shut-off or reduced and control of the vessel is switched to the analog systems.

Force-field: there are unconfirmed rumors that a Force-field is used to protect vital parts of the Sub's propulsion, the bridge, and the Hanger bay and Submarine Bay doors.

Research functions: The Sub has a science lab, ROV's, scientific equipment like side-scan radar and lidar, and a research submersible. A more specialized Research Carrier-class Submarine is under development.

[redacted]

Missiles: ship to shore non-nuclear missile bays are installed on the top of the vessel.

Single Nuclear Missile Silo: To be used as a last resort.

Self-destruct: to prevent it failing into enemy hands.

Scuttle system: floods the sub to prevent capture.

System purge: if self-destruct and the scuttle system are not options…and capture and imprisonment is inescapable. This will completely purge all the digital system including, navigation, steering, and Targeting, and hard-drives and servers containing sensitive penguin Intel. Thus, making the entire vessel completely useless to an enemy. Also activates a EMP to render the Sub's cargo of fighter craft and drones inoperable.

Nuclear overload: IF all else fails this will shut down the cooling system of the Nuclear reactor. The Nuclear reactor will go into meltdown and destroy the sub. Due to the risk of environmental damage this option should only be used as the absolutely FINAL resort.

A Brief History of the S.S. Leviathan

In [redacted] The Penguin Ice Navy Sub corps wanted a large multi-purpose Underwater Carrier Submarine for their Underwater Fighter vessels. And a launch platform for Kowalski's Underwater drone project. The Ice Navy wanted a Submarine that could carry a cargo of these attack vessels. They wanted something that was also fast with stealth capabilities. They also wanted it to make sure that didn't need to depend on support vessels and could defend itself. In [redacted] of [redacted], the plans for the S.S Leviathan designed by [redacted] were finalized and construction of this Super-vessel Began. Upon Completion it became the first and only Carrier Class Submarine in the entire Fleet. However, the penguin ice Navy dissolved the Sub Corps and it was immediately transferred into the command of IPSA. It officially began its career in 2017 but there are rumors of it being active in 2015.

Other Carrier-class Submarines

The S.S. Leviathan is currently the only Carrier-class Submarine in operation. Its sister ships the S.S. Goliath and S.S Gargantuan are currently under construction. It's Successor the S.S Leviathan II is currently in development. The Construction of a planned Specialized Research Carrier-class Submarine was delayed due to unforeseen complications and an attempted enemy sabotage. The IPSA Science Corps is currently working on a deep-ocean version.

Note: Well…that's all the information I have access to.
