Shimon is on his way to Tsuchimikado Arima's office, it's been 1 week since their break up and he still hasn't done anything yet to take back Mayura and make her his again. He couldn't think of anything to do until Subaru told him that he still have an option where Shimon needs to talk it out to Arima. Apparently Shimon first ask Mayura to be his bride so if he talk this out to Arima he might still have a chance to take back Mayura from Tenma's grasp

"Arima-sama?" Shimon lowly called out for the man. There inside the room stood Tsuchimikado Arima, when he saw Shimon enter the room he smirk like he was saying that he already know why Shimon seek out to him so they can talk

"Shimon-kun~~ what are you doing here, do you need something?~~" Arima ask in his playful voice but still the smirk remain in his face. Shimon look down not sure if he's still gonna do this, if he ask Arima about his request it might affect his family. But didn't he already ask permission earlier to them? And they already gave him their consent so what's stopping him right now?

"Is this about Mayura-chan?~~" Shimon look up in surprise by Arima's question, how did he know? That's the only thing in his mind right now

"Umm... Arima-sama... Can the agreement of the future marriage of Mayura and Tenma can be voided if I told you that I first ask Mayura to be my bride?"

"..."

"..." Arima look at Shimon, Shimon's face is full of determination and somewhat nervous

"Mayura-chan agreed right?"

"Y-yes..."

"Even you didn't announced it sooner, the agreement can be invalid if the other person agree and if you have witnesses... And I'm sure that you have one or two right?" Hearing this a spark of hope began to rise through him as he slowly nod his head

"Then it can be invalidated!" Shimon was about to smile when suddenly Arima add more to his sentence

"But... You know right?" Arima ask as he glare at him

"..." The hope that rise up to Shimon's body suddenly vanish like a dust as he look at the ground frustrated

"You know that Tenma wants Mayura to be his bride but despite this you still ask her and to add it up you didn't ask Seigen about it. Did you forgot about that law Shimon-kun? All the things you did are misdeed and even knowing this you still did it. This might affect the status of your family not only the status but also their lives. However I will overlook it this time Shimon-kun in exchange of that I will not allow the marriage agreement to be annul, I won't give you special treatment it will become unfair to the other families"

"..."

"And also there is this law that if an Unomiya found their spouse and they wanted to cancel the agreement, whether they still like them or not if they already announce it. It can no longer be undone, and the agreement of the marriage will stay remain intact... So I still won't be able to grant your request. So if you don't have anymore to say then you may leave now because I still need to do many things!"

"Y-yes... Please excuse me..." Shimon said still looking down. He is mad no he is furious, Shimon clench his hands as he walk out of the office. When he is already outside he punch the wall next to him

"Tenma you bastard... You plan this all from the start!"

Mayura is walking around the school looking for her father, she was ask by her father to bring some documents to him. Mayura have been looking for him for hours now but she still can't see him, when she turn in a corner Mayura saw her. That girl wearing eyeglasses with a long strawberry blonde hair that ends in her waist is now a short ash brown that ends in her chest and she's not wearing eyeglasses anymore instead she wear green contact lens. Despite this changes Mayura can still recognize her, when she took notice of Mayura's presence she began to walk away

"Wait! Hikari!" Hikari stops walking and look at her with a stoic face

"What? Do you need anything Mayura-san?"

"Hikari... I thought..." Mayura doesn't know how to form the words that she wants to say

"If you don't have anything to say then I'm leaving!" Before she can even leave Mayura ask her the question that she doesn't want to answer

"Why did you two do that? Even though you knew..." Hikari just look at her before she turn her back and answer

"I'm the one every 12 family members doesn't want to interact with I think that's why..." She said with a sad smile and leave. Mayura just look at her back dumbfounded wondering what she meant

"Neko-chan?" Mayura startle and turn around to see Tenma looking at her confuse

"What are you doing standing there?"

"Ah, no it's nothing... Umm... Can I ask you a question?"

"What is it?" Tenma ask as he offer Mayura a stick of mitarashi dango. Mayura quietly accept the offer and look at Tenma with a confuse face. Before looking down on the ground and ask him

"Hikari told me that she's the one every 12 family members doesn't want to interact with. What did she mean by that?" Mayura ask looking up to Tenma determine to get an answer, Tenma smirk at Mayura's expression this is the first time he see a different expression on her after she was announced as his bride

"You know the laws right?" Tenma ask as he sway the stick of mitarashi dango in his hand repeatedly while looking at Mayura with a smirk

"Umm... Yeah..."

"There's one law that a family head shouldn't have an affair to anyone and they shouldn't have a child with them right?"

" ... Don't tell me..."

"Haru Hikari real name..." Tenma said and pointed the stick to Mayura

"Shimon do you even know why Hikari was pulled into this?" Keiji ask

"I think I have an idea... We are not allowed to interact with someone like Hikari, that's one of the law..."

"What do you mean Shimon?" Rokuro ask confuse

"Maybe Tenma know that Hikari is an illegitimate child of one of the 12 families and we have the law that we shouldn't interact with the illegitimate child of a 12 family members... If he know maybe he use it to blackmail her..."

"Wait illegitimate child?!" Benio ask in surprise

"Yeah... Hikari's real name is..."

"Mitejima Himari..."
