I will admit, I was sort of stuck on this chapter, and at the same time, it's kinda short. But it's here now!

"Whoa, Zane. You don't mean that, right? We can talk about this," Cole said desperately.

"No. I am tired of people lying to me. I am tired of people abandoning me!" Zane yelled with a mix of rage, disbelief, and sadness. "I will not allow you and that backstabbing lier to take away my memories! The only thing I have left of my father, of my family, and the thought of you treating me like an actual human being! Zane screeched. Cole and Pixal backed up, seeing spikes of black ice form from inside and behind Zane. The Nindroid thrust his hand forward, sending more black ice shards towards Cole and Pixal. Cole grabbed Pixal's hand and ran, dragging Pixal behind him.

"Zane, listen to me, please!" Cole shouted, ducking behind Cyrus's desk with Pixal following him.

"NO! I'm DONE listening! I can no longer tell if lies or the truth will fall out of your mouth!" Zane yelled, thrusting his hand forward again, sending the black ice shards to slam into them. The black ice slammed into the desk, shattering on impact. Cole ruffled his hair, getting the frost out.

"We have to get out of here alive if we're going to save Zane," Cole said, peaking over the desk to see the angry Nindroid.

"I am glad you agree with me. You try to keep Zane still while I-"

"We are NOT going to erase his memories!" Cole yelled, interrupting Pixal. "We have to leave and think of a plan!"

"It's funny how you think you're going to leave with her," Zane snarled. Zane thrust his hand in the air once more, sending one more block of black ice towards them. The ice block slammed into them, knocking them out instantly; the only thing they could hear was Zane growling and crying.

"Cole!"

"Cole, come on! Get up!"

"Please don't tell me Zane killed him!" Cole woke up to the frightened voices of his friends, standing above him.

"What's going on?" Cole muttered. "Where's Zane?" Cole's eyes widened at his own question. "Wait, where's Pixal?!" Cole yelled, sitting up from the floor of Cyrus's office.

"She wasn't here when we got here. Why? What's wrong?" Kai asked, helping Cole get up. Cole started to walk towards the door.

"Zane heard the end of our conversation, and he thought I was going to betray him, just like Pixal did," Cole quickly explained.

"Pixal did what?!" Lloyd said in disbelief.

"Zane is really upset, and now he wants his heart back. You know, the half he gave her years ago," Cole continued to explain, ignoring Lloyd for now.

"Cole, slow down!" Nya yelled, running in front of Cole. "We don't understand what you're talking about," Nya said. "You and Zane suddenly disappear, then you appear here saying stuff we don't comprehend!" Cole growled with impatience.

"I can explain later, but now is not the time. Pixal's life is on the line!" Cole yelled, pushing past Nya, leaving the concerned and confused group of ninja behind. They didn't understand how serious this was. Jay ran in front of Cole, just like Nya did.

"Cole, what is going on!? What do you mean by 'Zane wants his heart back'?" Jay yelled, demanding answers.

"I'll explain later, let me leave! I have to save Zane!" Cole yelled back.

"Save Zane from what?!" Jay demanded.

"FROM MAKING THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HIS LIFE!" Cole shrieked.

Everyone stayed silent as Cole ran into the elevator and out of the room.
