Before I start, there are some things I do want to say. Now I'm not being mean here but please do not leave a review asking me to update another story! I got it from a guest and I didn't let his review show up. If you talk about the story first then I won't mind the question. But please know, I'll update those stories when I feel like it. I'm just focusing on one story. Next, darkkrt while I made references to the Lords of Shadows games, none of the characters from that series will be here. So no, Pan and Agreus won't be showing up.
I have also been talking to Dragonrule about Vampirella Monster Form. We are coming to an agreement on some things, but since she won't unlock her until Vampirella Vs Carmilla, the form is not yet finished.
Well, I think I know what boss I use for this chapter. So let's not waste time and get this underway!
Cornell, Carmilla, and Death all stood in front of Dracula explaining about the six teens and why more than half of his generals were missing.
"So you see my lord. We have been trying to deal with the six and they have proven to be more trouble then we thought." Carmilla explains.
"We also have seen that they have been getting more powerful with each fight," Cornell added.
"I see, what of the vampire girl?" Dracula asked.
"She's fighting well." Death said.
"My lord, I understand she looks like your late wife, but..." Carmilla started to say but Dracula raises his hand to stop her.
"I know. I know she is not my wife. But I would like to meet her. Even if my wife never returns, seeing her face again, is all I ever wanted." Dracula said.
Carmilla kept herself from growling.
"And the ghost, witch, and slime are subspecies? I can tell they are far more powerful then they appear." Dracula said.
"Excuse me, my lord. I don't mean to bring this up but isn't your son a subspecies as well?" Cornell asked.
Dracula looks at the werewolf and knew what he was asking. It was true, his son was half-vampire. He turns to Carmilla and knew what she was thinking. She never likes subspecies and did everything she could to wipe them out. Half-bloods are what they were really were call. And since the six were just teens, Dracula knew there was something about them.
"Bring the six here." He said.
"We have been trying my lord. But they very wary about us." Death said.
"I can't blame them. They are just pups." Cornell said.
Dracula nodded. He was wary about them too when they first met. Shows that the teens had good heads on their shoulders.
"Where are they now?" Dracula asked.
"Last we saw, they were heading towards the main balcony." Death said.
Dracula nodded and thought back to his son's words about the six.
"They will never join you, father. I can tell they all have good hearts. They made not be Belmonts, but they remind me much of them!"
Dracula sat back in this throne and look at his last three generals.
"Bring them to me, alive." He order.
They all bow. But Carmilla growls to herself.
Danny opens the next door and they step out to see a wonderful stain glass window. The glass was actually had Lisa on it.
"Dracula is making sure nothing will make him forget his wife," Leo said.
Vampirella looks at the image of the human woman that she shares and sighs. Danny notices and walks over to her.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, just wish I can do some to ease Dracula's pain." She said.
"Vampirella, are you still worry about being Lisa reborn?" Danny asked her.
"You and Witcha said that I'm not her but all this? I can't help but felt a little creep out." She said.
Danny knew what she meant. Paulina, a girl he no longer has a thing for, made a shine of him in her locker. At first, he was okay with it. It was nice to know that she likes him in some way, but now? The way she goes on and on about her and him that he started to get a little tired of it and her shine was started to get really creepy every time she opens it to add more things.
"I know what you mean. I have a girl at school how hates my human form but is in love with my ghost form. She doesn't know we are one and the same and she made a shine of me in her locker." Danny said.
"Really?" Vampirella asked.
"Though I like Frostbite and his people shine much more," Danny said.
"Frostbite?" Witcha asked.
"He a ghost and the one who taught me how to use my ice powers. If it wasn't for him, I would have frozen to death in both forms." Danny said.
"That was around the time you fought off that ghost plant," Damn said recalling the story.
"Undergrowth, yeah. I work up one more and just couldn't warm up. It got worst during my fight. I was able to get away and head towards Frostbite and his people and the told me I always had ice powers. I just only letting it out in small amounts." Danny told them.
"When?" Slimy asked making Danny smile.
"I ask Frostbite the same question." He told her.
"Turns out my ghost sense is part of my ice powers. So every time I sense a ghost, it was my ice powers that were activating. After learning how to control my powers, I went back and defeated Undergrowth. And Frostbite taught me a very important lesson. I control the power, the power doesn't control me." Danny told them.
They all nodded, that sounded like a great lesson.
"So did a girl at your school really made a shine of you?" Vampirella asked.
"Yes," Danny said and everyone laughs.
They walk on and Vampirella kisses Danny's cheek.
"Um, not that I'm complaining, but what was that for?" He asked blushing.
"For understanding what I'm going through." She said.
Danny blush deeper before looking away. Vampirella smiles and winks at the other two girls that giggle. Leo then started to sniff the air and everyone stops.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked.
"Something...following us." He said.
"Any idea where?" Vampirella asked.
"That's the thing, I can't pinpoint it. There so much space here, I can't tell where it coming from." Leo said.
"Maybe I can," Witcha said and close her eyes.
She held up her hand and let out a small magic ball. She let the ball shoot into the air and spread over the area they were in.
"How did you do that?" Danny asked.
"Since I learn that I can use both light and dark magic, I decided to see what I can do with them. That was just a new advice tracking spell I just came up with. Not only can I tell where something is but also find out where it's going and coming from." Witcha said.
Everyone nodded at that. Witcha felt her magic tell her that something was moving away from them and heading towards the next area. She couldn't make it out what it was, but she knew it was something big and powerful.
"Okay, It's heading the area in front of us. Whatever it is, it will be waiting for us." She said.
"Then we better be ready," Damn said.
"Witcha, I thought you had to use your wand to use magic?" Danny asked her.
"Turns out I really don't need to. I have just been using one because I still a witch in training." She said.
"Something tells me after this, you won't be a witch in training anymore," Leo said.
"Still got to finish school." She said.
"Same with me," Danny added.
Everyone chuckle/giggle and walk through the balcony. Leo sniffs the air and could smell something very familiar to him.
"Witcha! We got company coming!" He said.
Everyone looks up and saw crows fly towards them and quickly cover themselves as the crows flew past them. Everyone turns and saw the crows from together in a giant crow and squawks loudly.
"That's not what I was picking up!" Witcha said.
"Looks like we have to deal with another animal," Danny said really glad Sam wasn't here.
"What's the plan?" Damn asked Danny.
Danny look at the crow and knew that he, Witcha, and Damn were the only flyers. But he knew that the other couldn't stand down here and do nothing. However, he notices the beams and knew the rest can use them to get close.
"Okay, Me, Witcha, and Damn can fight that in the air. Vampirella, Leo, Slimy, use the beams to get up close. Make sure to watch your footing. We might not be able to catch you." He said.
"And when we get to it?" Vampirella asked.
"Hit it with everything you got!" He said and everyone moves forward with the plan.
Danny, Witcha, and Damn flew at the crow and fire them beams at it. Leo climb up the wooden beams and soon was close enough to the crow. He jumps and lands on its face. The Crow tries to shake him off, but Leo held on tight. Once it stops, Leo started to claw its face, making it squawk in pain. Leo kept it up before seeing Vampirella jumps as well and jumps off.
"Tag!" He said as they pass another.
Vampirella knew it was too big for her bite on the next back she had an idea. She lands on the crow and started to rip the feathers off. It squawks one of its wings destroys some of the beams. Vampirella jumps off and Danny flew up to it as mean to hit it with his own attack, but the Crow tries to eat him and Danny had to push the break open. Danny took one of his hands off the break and started to shoot his ectoblast into its mouth.
"I! Hope! You're! Hung-! ...-gry!" He said between each shot.
Danny felt the Crow trying to close it break and felt something wrap around him. He was pulled out of the break and place next to Slimy as the break slam shut. He and Slimy smile at each other before Danny took to the air again. Damn threw a fireball that hit one of the Crow's eyes and causes it to become blind in that eye. Danny flew up and threw a powerful punch that forces the Crow's neck to snap upwards. Damn then ram into the Crow's chest and knocks into the stain glass window, breaking through it and falling to the ground below.
"Oops!" Damn said, knowing Dracula won't like that.
Everyone regroups and looks at the window.
"Dracula is going to be piss when he finds out about this," Slimy said and everyone agrees.
The group walks on and soon came to a big opening and saw something sitting in front of them and the sound of crunching was heard. It then stops and turns away and looks at the groups.
"A Cyclops?" Danny asked.
Leo smell the fresh sense of blood and knew what type it was.
"A man-eating Cyclops." He said.
Danny looks as if he was going to throw up when he heard that but kept himself together. The Cyclops sniff the air and turn to Witcha and Danny. It could smell human blood coming from them and roar. Everyone stood ready and the Cyclops threw a punch at them. Everyone dodges and the Cyclops grabs Witcha. Witcha tries to break free and saw the Cyclops opens its mouth.
"It's going to eat me!" She shouted.
Danny quickly flew over and fires an ecto beam at its eye forcing it to let go of her and flew down on its butt. Witcha turns to Danny and nods in thanks. Danny nods back and stood ready as the Cyclops stood back up. It roars and swipes it hand, knocking both of them back. Damn flew up and fire his hellfire at it making the Cyclops cover itself with its arms and taking steps back. Vampirella rushes up and threw a jump kick at its knee making a loud crack. The Cyclops fell to one knee as Leo rushes up and claw its eye, making it cry out in pain as it was now blind. Slimy threw her fists and started to pound the Cyclops' body, forcing it close to the edge. Danny and Witcha recover and nodded. They both shot a powerful beam from their hands and knock the Cyclops off the platform and fell into the darkness below.
"Whew, that was close," Danny said before Witcha hugs him.
Danny looks confused but hugs her back. Witcha then kiss his cheek, making him blush.
"Let's hope we don't deal with another one of those," Damn said.
"Hey, guys? Do you even get the feeling that we are having a better time fighting monsters?" Slimy asked.
Everyone blinks and thought about it. Slimy had a point. When they first show up at the castle, they could barely beat a Golem, and now they just took down a Cyclops like it was nothing.
"Maybe we are getting stronger?" Danny said.
"Possibly," Leo said.
"Maybe Dracula's army is running out of soldiers?" Witcha said.
"Also likely," Damn said.
"Maybe we got used to fighting as a team?" Vampirella brought up.
"Very likely," Danny said seeing her point.
Everyone nodded, they have been fighting alone for some time. Even though Damn had a partner, she really didn't work with him so much. Danny was used to having Tucker and Sam back him up but they don't really fight as a team all the time.
"So we are a team." Slimy smiles.
"Yeah, we are." Danny smiles back.
Everyone nods and held their fists out. They were friends but also a team. They were Monster Heroes.
"I knew that stupid creature would fail," Carmilla said as she watches the group defeat the Cyclops.
"At least we know that they are getting strong with each fight." Death said.
"Soon they might even be strong than us," Cornell said.
"Like shit, they will be!" Carmilla shouted and turns to look at Danny and Vampirella.
She growls and then turns to face another teen standing close by.
"Listen, my dear, can you go and inform another member of the army that the traitors are getting closer?" Carmilla said to her.
"Yes, mistress." The girl bows and walk away.
"So, you turn her." Death said.
"Yes, she told me a lot of one call Phantom. He must not be trusted." Carmilla said.
"Your hate will be your undoing." Death said but Carmilla didn't look at him.
Cornell turns back and looks at Leo. He could tell there was something different about him. He never seems to appear in a human form, every time he sees him, it's in his werewolf form. Cornell smirks as he thought of a plan to weaken the group to take them to his Lord.
Okay, that's it for this chapter. The Crow wasn't one of the bosses but I threw it in just for the heck of it. Also, the line that Danny said is a reference to a show by Roosterteeth. Any know what that is?
Speaking of which, no one guess to what Shaft thought he saw during his fight with Witcha. Try to throw in something and everyone overlooks it or doesn't bother to guess. It was the Vampire Killer! I know some of you play Castlevania and know the main weapon that the Belmonts use. And if I don't hear any guesses for Danny's line, then I'm going to be a little upset.
If you are wondering what happened to Alucard after the fight with Dracula, he's still alive. I have him met up with the team again later.
And Artorias, I just got your review. I know what you mean but its how Carmilla feels about them. She doesn't care what they are, she just wants to destroy them. Just remember, I have to translate what you write because I know very little Spanish.
AnimationFan23, thanks for reviewing again. I know that the "COVID 19" is a big deal, but don't let it take over. Everyone in the world is fighting against it. Now about the Toy Maker idea. I know you got it from Lords of Shadows 2 and I can see the group doing that. I might use the scene from the game and have the team say their thoughts on it.
Now I just need one more boss, and not the Toy Maker, he's later, and then Leo Vs Cornell. Like before, Dragonrule all give me an idea of how Leo's Monster form would look and I threw in something extra. You'll have to wait until then.
