I Didn't Have A Choice-Ch 20
After they finished their amazing dinner Derek and Penelope laid wrapped in each others arms talking about their wedding, honeymoon and the lives they would be spending together. They were both all smiles as they looked up to see their family, new and old walking into the room.
JJ said, "well this is a sight I am so glad to see", Jessica said, "they look so perfect together, don't they"?, Emily said, "it's always been this way, it's just a shame that it took all of these years for them to pull their heads out of their butts and". Derek said, "heyyyyyy, we're right here Em, right here".
Emily laughed and said, "how are the two of you doing"?, Penelope and Derek looked at each other and said, "perfect" in unison causing the women to all say, "awwwww" and the men to grin and shake their heads. Derek said, "since baby girl can't be released until tomorrow I'm going to stay here tonight".
Hotch said, "that's what we figured", Dave said, "ohhhh I talked to your mom, her and your sisters are flying out on the Rossi jet and they are bringing Jack and Henry with them so the entire family can be here together". Jessica said, "Henry, how else has a Henry besides me and Sean"?, JJ raised her hand and said, "me and Spence have a son named Henry, he's 4",
Jessica smiled and said, "so is our son", JJ said, "this is our Henry" as she pulled out her cell phone and pulled up pictures of Henry and Jessica said, "here's our Henry" as she did the same thing. Reid looked at Sean and said, "what do you do Sean"?, Sean smiled and said, "I'm an instructor at the college, what about you"?, Spencer said, "I'm with the BAU, we're behavior analysts".
Sean said, "are all of you on the same team"?. Spencer nodded his head and said, "we are and Garcia, well she's our tech, she's the best I've ever seen". Shane stepped forward and said, "she's the best I've ever seen too", Penelope said, "hey you, how are you doing"?, Shane looked at Hotch and then back at Penelope and smiled as he said, "I've been released, the judge said that my sentence would be reduced to time served".
Penelope said, "ohhh Shane that's wonderful", he sighed and said, "yeah it is, it's going to feel great to be out in the world again and this time I'm going to do everything right". Derek said, "I wish you the best of luck man, I really do", Shane said, thanks, maybe I'll settle down, get married and have some kids like you and Penelope are doing".
Derek said, "speaking of getting married, me and baby girl are going to be getting married the day after tomorrow, is their any way that you can stay, we both really want you to be here". He smiled and said, "I would love to be here to witness the two of you finally getting married", Derek and Penelope looked at each other and smiled and then looked at their family and sighed happily.
Emma said, "okay that means we don't have much time to get the wedding ready", Millie said, "we need to get the plans ready", JJ, Jessica and Emily nodded their heads yes in agreement. Derek looked up at Dave and said, "when will momma and the others be here"?, Dave said, "they are all getting their things together tonight and they're going to pick up Jack and Henry in the morning so they should be here around noon tomorrow".
Penelope said, "sooooo hopefully by the time they get here we should be back at my house", Tabby stepped forward and said, "speaking of your house, what are you going to do"?, Penelope said, "I want to keep it, maybe we can come here on long weekends, vacations, that type of thing, because I love this place and the people here are all so amazing".
Derek kissed her lips and said, "I like the way you think princess, I think keeping this house is a great idea", she sighed and said, "you do"?, he winked at her and said, "I do". Everybody smiled as Penelope looked at Tabby and said, "we'll be buying it Tabby, is that okay"?, Tabby smiled and said, "it's more than fine with me honey and I'm sure my husband Thomas would approve, I wish you would have gotten to meet him but he's out of town on business and won't be back for a few weeks".
Penelope said, "maybe next time", Tabby smiled and nodded her head yes, Desmond walked into the room and said, "alright guys it's getting late and our girl needs to get some rest soooooo I'm going to allow one person to stay but the rest of you need to go", everybody stood up and hugged her and Derek and told then they would see them tomorrow before all heading out of the room.
Desmond said, "now if you have any problems through the night, either of you, I expect to be told", Derek and Penelope nodded their heads and Penelope said, "we will, I promise". He smiled and said, "alright, have a good night", Derek said, "you too and Desmond, thanks again".
He said, "you're very welcome", after he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him Derek cuddled closer to Penelope and said, "being here with you feels like heaven". She yawned and said, "it really does", she laid her head down on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
Derek smiled when he heard a soft snore coming from her a few minutes later, he then closed his eyes and soon joined her in sleep.
