Chapter 22-The Crash site
Billy wakes up and shakes Raven. "Five more minutes," Raven says.
"We have to go to the crash site," Billy says to Raven, who opens her eyes and groans. Raven stabs up and grabs her boots. Billy stands up to. "Who are we taking?" Raven asks.
"Bellamy Miller Wells Finn Harper Murphy Clarke," Billy tells her. She nods.
"Who's gonna watch camp?" Raven asks.
"Westley and Octavia can watch camp," Billy tells her. She nods as they walk out of the tent. Billy walks over to Bellamy's tent. "Bellamy, you up?" Billy asks.
"Yeah," Bellamy says.
"Get ready," Billy tells him.
"Why," Bellamy asks.
"You're coming with us to the crash site," Billy tells him.
"Okay," Bellamy says. They walk over to the middle of the camp where everybody else was.
"We're gonna head to the crash site. Keep your eyes open. I want patrols at all times and Somebody always on watch after yesterday the grounders will be coming. Westley and Octavia are in charge while we're gone," Billy tells them. Billy walks over to Westley and Octavia. "Can you guys watch Charlotte while were gone?" Billy asks them. They nod. Billy walks to the gate. They open the gate, and they walk out. They get to the crash site.
"We need to find any black boxes or hard drives. Anything that will tell us what happened here," Raven says. Everybody nods as they start to walk.
"Stay sharp. Grounder retaliation for what happened on the bridge is coming, just a matter of when," Bellamy says.
"Can you blame them?" Finn asks.
"No," Bellamy says.
"Clarke, stop!" Raven says to the girl who stops.
"Rocket fuel?" Harper asks.
"Hydrazine... Highly unstable in its non solid form. If this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist," Raven tells her. Raven grabs a rock. "Fire in the hole," Raven yells.
"We need to clear the area," Wells says.
"Okay, then. We move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot. We got to get back before dark," Billy says to them. Everybody nods before they leave.
Camp
The tripwire goes off around camp. "Somebody hit the wire," Octavia says.
"Which wire?" Easten asks.
"Was it a grounder?" Westley asks.
"I don't see anything," Monty says.
"Are you sure it was a tripwire?" Octavia asks
I got nothing. Connor?" Westley says.
"Nothing," Connor says.
"Something moved," Octavia says.
"There," Connor says. They shoot. "Think I got him," Connor says.
"Let's go," Emma says as they walk out. "Lincoln," Emma says, concerned.
"No way," Connor says.
"Drax," Emma says. "Take him to the dropship till my brother gets back," Emma tells him. He nods as they drag him to the dropship.
