Hey hey hey! Warning, this chapter... is something, at least towards the end. Y'all will see, I actually forgot about this part. *coughs nervously*

ANWAYS:

DarkCrystal666- If he ever asks, which is a secret, you'll have to see, I assume he will get friendzoned, yes. Though I think he probably could take it... and of COURSE I needed Firefall to have a dilemma to keep her awake! What fun would it be without one? BUT YES FEATHERFIREEEEE

PhoenixEcho2007- Aw, thanks!

ReadingEevee- Oh god, that'd be pretty bad. And actually, the update schedule is Sundays and Thursdays, so uh... *waves* Hi! I have another chapter!

Succulentsofa- I know! And eh, they're probably not 'small'. Thank you!

Anyways, on with the chapter!

Mistyfrost padded back towards the camp, satisfied.

Froststar got so embarrassed at that gathering! DEFINITELY worth the scratches.

She purred as Cinderstem started padding beside her.

"Well, you seem happy." Cinderstem observed.

"THAT was a fun gathering." She replied.

"You can embarrass Froststar all you want, but-" Cinderstem stopped.

"What?" She pressed.

"Nothing." Cinderstem shook her head. "I've had a vision, that's all."

Oh! I forgot to ask her how the half-moon meeting went!

"Did you get it at the half-moon meeting?" She asked.

"No." Cinderstem admitted. "I got it last night. Starclan showed me the future." Cinderstem explained.

"MY future?" She asked.

"And Froststar's." Cinderstem mewed.

What? How could I have a future with Froststar?

"What was it of?" She continued.

"It was you and Froststar, tails intertwined." Cinderstem mewed.

"You sure it wasn't from the past?" She asked, surprised. Cinderstem shook her head.

"I'm very sure." Cinderstem assured her.

What?! How is that possible?! Me and Froststar HATE each other!

She settled down in her nest, puzzled. Unless…. there is still some good in him!

She shook her head. Impossible! He tried to kill our kits!

She wrapped her tail around her paws and curled up to sleep. She was surprised the next morning when Froststar woke her up. Before dawn.

"Mistyfrost," He began, clearly uncomfortable. "I'd like to speak to you outside." He mewed.

Oh brother. Did he just wake me up to argue?

She sighed and slid out of the warriors den, and she and Froststar sat in the middle of the clearing.

What's happening? When is he gonna get mad?

"Please don't be mad at me." He croaked.

"What?" She asked.

"I didn't know what would happen!" He wailed.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

"Our…." He started.

"Spit it out!" She hissed.

"Our kits are dead." He looked at her with a sorrowful look in his eyes.

Her heart shattered. "W-What do you mean?" She stuttered.

"I-I sent them up to scout the glaciers, and…" He trailed off. "They fell." He finished. Mistyfrost knew this wasn't a lie.

Froststar lies all the time. But this, this is the truth.

Look, why he sent his own CHILDREN up in a blizzard is beyond me. I was just as confused and sad as y'all. But uh, tell me what you think, and stay safe! Your opinion matters!

Have a good day (or night) and keep writing!
