Edward POV
Carlisle had just got the results of the tests that would tell us if Topaz had Autism. He called me and Bella into his office and I walked slowly mine and Bella's hands intertwined together as we walked. I was so nervous as was Bella and everyone else, we weren't nervous because we didn't want Topaz to have Autism but we were nervous because we would have to deal with so much bad behaviour if she did because of medication and medication times and stuff like that.
"So guys, Topaz does have Autism. I know a really good Paediatrician that Edward knows as well, her name is Valorie Newman, she is very kind and welcoming and specialises in Children with Autism. I also know a great OT called Millie Smith who is a child OT and is a very nice young lady." Carlisle explained and we both nodded, I had known Valorie for ages and so had Carlisle. We talked some more then went to tell the family the news.
The family were very understanding and now knew why Topaz was behaving like that. When she does do what she does in the middle of the night we still have to do what we did with her the other night when she doesn't listen. We have to punish her during the day and if she doesn't listen to us on the night then we have to get the others involved to help us out. She still has to understand that what she is doing is wrong.
I will still love Topaz no matter what happens now and later in the future I will always love her to bits. She will always be my Daughter. I will always accept who she is as a person and what difficulties that she has to overcome, I will never judge her or anything she has to tell me because I love her and even if I didn't I still would accept her as my daughter and family.
