Chapter 25 Darkness

Sora's POV

One Hour Later

We were all standing in front of...Yozora's grave.

"No parent should have to burry their child once", King Meishu stated. "I've had to burry mine twice."

With that...King Meishu began to cry.

I was about to say something to him...when a guard came running up to us.

"Your majesty", he started. "You need to see this."

Five Minutes Later

We ran onto a balcony...and couldn't believe our eyes.

The largest swarm of Heartless I had ever seen were heading their way towards us!

"There's so many", Xion pointed out sadly.

"I think it's twice the amount of all those Heartless that were in Hollow Bastion", Isa stated. "Triple even."

"Why are they all here", Roxas asked.

"They must've sensed that the Crystal Heart was destroyed", King Meishu suggested before turning around to look at one of the guards. "Get the force field up now!"

"Right away your majesty", the guard said before running off.

"How long is that force field going to hold", Riku asked.

"Long enough for us to evacuate the kingdom", King Meishu replied. "Hopefully."

Ven's POV

Strelitzia and I watched as an enormous swarm of Heartless made their way towards King Meishu's kingdom.

"There's so many of them", Strelitzia pointed out. "Where did they all come from?"

"I don't know", I replied. "But we have to do something!"

"But what about finding answers", Strelitzia asked.

"This is more important", I pointed out. "But I understand if you don't want to help."

"I'm a Keyblade Wielder Ventus", Strelitzia pointed out. "It is my job to protect the worlds from Darkness."

Hearing this caused me to look at Strelitzia in shock.

Then...I nodded before looking back at the Heartless.

"Then...let's get to work."

With that...Strelitzia and I were about to charge at the Heartless.

However...before we could attack...we heard movement from behind us.

We turned around...and saw...Lauriam.

"You", he said to me angrily.

"Big brother", Strelitzia started. "Please wait."

But it was too late...as Lauriam had already charged at me, but was blocked by Strelitzia.

"There isn't time for this big brother", Strelitzia stated before pointing to the swarm of Heartless. "Those Heartless are about to attack that kingdom!"

"I don't care about that", Lauriam revealed. "All I care about is killing Ventus!"

Hearing this caused Strelitzia to look at her brother in disbelief.

"You were right", she started. "You're not the person you used to be. My brother would never just sit back and let innocent people get killed!"

Hearing this caused Lauriam to look at Strelitzia in shock.

"Come Ventus", the latter said. "There are people who needs us."

"Are crazy Strelitzia", Marluxia asked. "Look at all those Heartless! There is no way that the two of you will be able to defeat them all!"

"We're not going to try and defeat them", Strelitzia revealed. "We're just going to by time for everybody to escape."
