Enpowera: The ending chapter~ Enjoy. If people want I wouldn't mind doing one-shots of the characters' growing up.
The next day had a newly armored Bunny following Ganon into battle, her trusty warhammer having returned with a dark themed makeover. She wore a black and crimson tunic paired with black pants and boots, along with black armor protecting her. Bunny was very clearly Ganon's minion now, it seemed.
Ganon made sure that his pawn was utilized to mass effect as he had her attack her friends and family, who were obviously not keen on fighting back and had to play defense. The only one who seemed to fight back was Conan, who had swapped out his princely gear for a royal guard's ensemble, but this was mostly to try and talk her out of serving him.
"Bunny, that isn't Damon anymore! He's Ganon! He wants us all dead! Please, you have to snap out of it!" He tried to use his magic to break the spell.
Bunny resisted his efforts, rushing to attack skillfully. She gladly returned to Ganon's side when he called for her, even though he called her Princess Zelda instead of her nickname. She let him hold her possessively while her friends and family watched, fearing the worst case scenario.
"You don't think she…" Adara hoped they hadn't jumped into bed shortly after reuniting.
"Just be patient my dear, I'll be sure to ravage you again once victory is ours!" Ganon cackled, enjoying the look of horror on everyone's faces.
"He did!" Lonán was out for blood now.
"The princess really is a irresistible little minx. She was practically begging for it. I bet she'd let me take her right here with no shame," Ganon continued to tease, Bunny not seeming effected as Ganon held her a bit tighter, touching certain spots, before sending her back off to fight.
The battle started anew, everyone filled with rage. Seeing everything go his way led Ganon to letting his guard down a bit. Bunny could feel a swirl of magic inside her as she felt her head clear. She got a bit of a naughty, cocky smirk on her face as she approached Ganon, feeling the power of the Goddesses behind her as the full power of the triforce giving her the ability to do what must be done. Once Ganon had stepped back from the fight for a second, She approached him for a kiss, hoping he did so.
"I might as well, to keep up the facade in her head…" Ganon muttered as he picked her up to avoid stooping too low.
Bunny moved her hands to wrap around his neck, though soon was only holding on with one as she used the Goddesses' power to summon a blade made of light, stabbing Ganon with it and forcing his spirit out, transitioning with him into the spirit realm. Once there she started attacking him for dear life, extremely fierce and strong. The Goddesses' power was freely flowing through her now. Her chopped off hair had returned to its regular length and her armor had changed into a silver and blue armor dress with armored boots, blue eyes glowing with power and her hammer transitioning into the Master Sword, Bunny finally using a sword the right way, like how her father had done.
"What is this!? You were under my control, what happened!?" Ganon tried to use the power of the assembled Triforce to only find that it had vanished.
"I tricked you," She found she could speak in the mythical realm. "You fell for everything." She kept fighting. "Everything was a part of the Goddesses' and my plan."
"What!?" Ganon did his best to fight back with what remained of his dark magic, which manifested into a trident this time, and worked on trying to strike her with the prongs and fire.
"My siding with you was all a trap. I knew I couldn't beat you fairly," Bunny gave a slice of her weapon, sending a light magic slash into him. "I pretended to be weak and broken. I'm just glad Damon's body hadn't changed with your possession. It would have made earning your trust by sleeping with you much harder." She was gaining the lead.
He cried in anguish at the light magic hitting him and that a little girl managed to trick him like this. "You won't win! Damon's spirit is nearly dead, one more strike against me and I take him as well!"
"At least it's better than you controlling his body!" She attacked again, not giving in to him playing at her worst fears.
Ganon's form started to dissolve despite his best to retaliate with his fading magic. "I won't truly die, I'll return with thrice the malice to take everyone you ever known and loved down!"
"No you won't. My wish is for you to never return and for Hyrule to have peace!" She attacked again for good measure.
With the wish backing her strike, Ganon's spirit was eviscerated from existence. The only thing that remained was the faint echo of his dying scream. Bunny blinked and found herself back on the battlefield, still in her new armor and wielding the sword that was pierced through Damon's side. She dropped it in shock as they both went down. All around them the monsters were disintegrating.
For obvious reasons, everyone was very confused as this happened. It was only when someone, nobody was sure who, pointed out that Bunny broke free and was in new armor that everyone came rushing. Bunny stole Hilda's bag from her, pulling out a potion to pour on Damon's wound, panic clearly visible on her face. Luckily the wound was non life threatening, despite being nasty looking, so it healed up right away.
Damon moaned weakly as he started coming to. When he opened his eyes he wondered if he had died since nobody's face could be made out too clearly and nobody said a thing. Bunny responded to his awakening by pulling him into a hug, relief on her face.
"Bunny?" he croaked as he carefully put an arm around her. "Your...hair grew out?"
She nodded, trying not to cry in happiness at him being awake and talking. It was the fact that all eyes were on them that stopped her from doing so. A scary thought went through her head that Damon could easily be punished for all that happened. She had a worried look on her face when her mother approached.
"Bunny?" Zelda was more surprised at how much she had changed.
Bunny stood exhaustedly, lifting up her sword and taking a protective, defensive position in front of Damon.
Zelda figured out very quickly why she was doing this and looked to the massive group. "Stand down." She did her best to hide her smirk at seeing everyone lower their weapons and step back. "All is well, my daughter. There is no need to continue."
Surprisingly there was still mistrust in Bunny's eyes, seeking out an escape. She finally put her weapon away as she spotted it. She focused on the leftover magic the Goddesses' gave her, finishing healing Damon and opening a portal, leading Damon through it in order to get away from the group. She knew no one really approved of her and Damon and was just afraid they'd lock him up. She made it to where they wouldn't be found.
"Wh...Where are we now?" Damon was confused due to being 'dead' for a long time and wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't anymore.
'Safe,' Was all Bunny knew. It was a lovely oasis like green space, very isolated and calming.
"And you...killed Ganon?" Some part of him seemed to have understood that happened.
She nodded yes, smiling victoriously.
He hugged her while laughing, "You're amazing, truly amazing!"
'I know,' She hugged back, also laughing in relief.
"And…" he seemed to remember something, "What about...h-he didn't hurt the…"
She looked a bit sad, 'One...the other still lives though…'
"I'm so sorry," he whispered as he held her closer in sadness.
'It's fine…' She held him back.
A couple months later had a Royal Wedding taking place between Conan and Hilda, everyone cheering. The search for Bunny and Damon had lessened a bit, as it was obvious they didn't want to be found. All of Hyrule and Lorule was invited, so the entire thing had to be held in Hyrule Field to compensate for the amount of people attending. Conan wore royal garments for the wedding, along with his favorite gold and sapphire diadem. When it was time for Hilda to come out she looked like a vision garbed in a silky dark purple dress, adorned by golden accessories specifically made so that they bore the Emblem of Shadow in its gemstones. What was most amazing was her face finally being visable to all, from her stunning green eyes to her silky black hair. She stood next to her love with a smile as they held hands while the officiant did the vows. They soon kissed and were whisked away to the reception, followed by a long honeymoon that was spent looking for the missing princess during the day and making love to each other at night, only coming back once it was obvious Hilda was expecting a child.
A year to the date of the final battle had the group gathering for a party. Hilda was receiving many wishful hopes for her child to be strong and healthy from the others. The merriment was a bit on edge when they sensed someone spying on the group. He wasn't a very good spy as his height gave him away…
"Damon!?" At least nobody drew a weapon, but they were more than surprised at him even showing up.
"Where's Bunny?" Hestia was quick to pass her baby over to her twin and get ready to take down Damon if he had abandoned her.
"C'mon Dawn, this is gonna get ugly…" Adara quickly ushered her niece to a safer place.
"Relax, guys, I'm here," A confident voice called out, Bunny exiting from her hiding spot, "we were just checking things out." She was holding a bundle tight to her chest, tufts of strawberry blond hair sticking out a bit. It became apparent she had been able to regain her voice after a few months of healing.
Everyone was dead silent as they looked between the three newcomers, the obvious quickly making itself known. Someone had a maid quickly get the king and queen since they were elsewhere in the very large party. The king and queen rushed to the room, very surprised to see their missing daughter, her lover, and apparently a baby. Bunny eventually let them get a look at the baby, it being obvious he was quite the big boy, even though he was only a few months old.
"And you...survived…" Zelda was in tears as she carefully hugged her and her grandchild.
"Of course I did," Bunny stated, accepting the hug, which was quickly followed by one from her father.
"Bunny…" Conan walked over and tried not to cry at seeing his twin after all this time.
"I see Hilda finally had her way with you," Bunny commented.
"Not the point. How'd your voice get restored..and...Seriously, how did you give birth...he's huge…" Hilda had come over to greet her friend.
"The normal way…" Bunny and Damon both looked a bit pale at the memory.
"According to her, I'm the world's worst midwife." Damon stated. This caused a good ripple of laughter.
"Most awful experience ever. I'm so happy we had healing potions on hand,"
"Then you might want to get a midwife while you're here, you're due for a second child." Raja commented while giving Damon a slight glare.
"Whoops?" Bunny blushed a bit. She'd been hoping her first one had been a fluke by the Goddesses.
"Bunny, please stay this time," Zelda was trying not to sound like she was begging at this request, "this way you can get the help you need when you require it instead of just hoping that it all turns out."
"Can Damon stay too?"
"Yes, but please keep your night activities scarce…" the queen sighed.
"No promises..."
That earned a group sigh. The group did live happily ever after, everyone reunited properly. Hestia eventually did marry the Twili ambassador she bedded, once he was tracked down. The man was more than willing to make an honest woman out of Hestia, as he knew she'd been a maiden before he bedded the enchantress and Hestia swore she hadn't bedded anyone since then, as none were as good looking as him. Ravi and Adara ended up marrying after it was discovered Adara was expecting twins with Ravi. Lonán did end up courting and marrying Neja, which only seemed to surprise the nobles back in Lorule as they hadn't expected the prince to fall for a mermaid. She had been the last of the group to fall pregnant as it was difficult for her to just conceive to begin with. The last to marry was Bunny and Damon, holding theirs at the border of their lands to symbolize their unification of their kingdoms. Karka was more than willing to bless the union, along with her little blonde Gerudo princess. Karka focused on being a fair and just ruler to help her people unite with Hyrule for the sake of peace. Conan did the same, mainly because Bunny stepped down from the crown to live her days with Damon. Given the history of men on the throne, the future king was less than joyous at his shot since it tended to bring disasters...at least he could rule out Ganon's return during his future reign. Luckily all was peaceful, even when they discovered that Damon and Bunny's eldest child, Little Link, was the holder of all three pieces of the triforce. Luckily he seemed to have all of Bunny's cheerful personality once he warmed up to a person, though was a bit meek and shy otherwise. Conan and Hilda had less to worry about, for the most part, on seeing that she birthed a little girl. She looked so much like her grandmother, aside from getting the green eyes of her mother. She was the next Zelda and would inherit the throne once it was her time. She ended up an only child, though luckily had ample cousins as it seemed Bunny lived up to her nickname too well, managing to have quite a few successful births, up until a sparring accident led to her sustaining a wound that seemed to leave her unable to have more children, a welcomed relief.
