Silya ran to the door and kicked it open. She grabbed a pocket knife from her backpack and pretended it was a tiny lightsaber. She held it backhanded and walked quietly through the halls. She could hear commotion all around her. She turned the corner and nearly ran straight into a pirate. She back away and went behind the wall again. She had heard stories of Hondo Ohnaka, mostly from Master Kenobi and Master Skywalker, so she knew that she should stay away from them. Even so, she could hear the pirate's voice from behind.

"Search the ship, Maul wants a girl named Silya Alamak," he said and waved a hand that the girl couldn't see.

She could hear more passengers walking out of their rooms. She either shoved them back in or looked at them and made them rush back in. She ran down the hall careful to think about which ways she could go. She found the Janitors closet and jumped in. She could sense the pirates rushing into her room and dumping it.

Then she heard footsteps nearing the closet. She gripped the knife and prepared for someone to open the door and shoot her. That time came and Silya stabbed them with the knife and ran out drawing attention. She kept running through the halls. That lasted for a few moments when she ran into a dead end. She turned and paled. Around her was a horde of pirates with blasters and snipers. She gulped and raised her knife. A man from the back approached the front.

"Remember," he said, "Maul does not want her dead."

Silya glared daggers, "Obi-Wan Kenobi said you fought against Maul."

Hondo waved his hand, "That was all in the past little girl, now, Hondo wants his money!".

Silya thought of her options. Even if she tried to fight them all off, she still didn't have enough room to dodge the stun guns. And if she found a way to run, then, even so, there isn't any room. She growled and tried to force push them, but it was like her magic didn't work.

She gulped and tried again. But it didn't work again. She was truly pale in fear now. She walked into the wall and was ready to face her end as Darth Maul's stupid servant. But that wish faded as she could hear a shot from behind the crowd. Then the Pirates turned a different direction and started firing at something else. Silya widened her eyes as Mandalorians shot down multiple pirates. She stared in shock. They wore blue armor and kicked a pirate and stabbed it without looking at the blood. She did it several times and tried forcefully to use the force. None of the times it worked. Then a woman stepped forward and said.

"Come with us," she said.

"How should I trust you?" she asked them, "You side with Darth Maul."

The woman shook her head, "That was a bad choice, now, we side against him, come with us."

Silya went with her only because she had no other choice. She ran after them and they were retreating already. She went through the halls which they seemed to have mapped out. When she finally got aboard their ship, she could tell they'd been running from something. She closed the door and the ship flew out into hyperspace. She leaned against the wall and sighed. The Mando's stared at her when finally the woman removed her helmet. She had short Orange hair and a blue headband keeping the hair out of the way. She had green eyes and was obviously the striking face of Bo-Katan Kryze.

Of course, Silya didn't know that so she just stared and said coolly, "And who are you?".

"Bo-Katan Kryze," she said, "My sister is-".

She didn't have to finish before Silya said, "Satine."

Bo-Katan nodded and held out her hand, "We've been looking for you as well," she said, "We're in need of new recruits and believe that you are the perfect soldier."

Silya laughed harshly, "Don't I have to be Mandalorian for that?". She didn't take the hand but Kryze didn't drop it.

"We're making an exception, besides, some of these soldiers are men or women from other planets, not most of them, only one or two," she said.

Silya was quiet for a moment, but then, "Sorry, I'm from Kuat, I'm not Mando."

Kryze laughed, "Your not from Kuat, Silya, and your definitely not an Alamak."

Silya stared, "What the hell are you talking about?".

Kryze didn't laugh again, "Do you wonder why you never had the same appearance as your parents."

And she was right, never mentioned has her parents been much, but they both were blonde and had blue eyes while Silya had dark brown features. She still had white skin of course, but it was awkward when she was with her parent's friends and they always asked if Silya was adopted.

"Your lying, " Silya proclaimed

Kryze shook her head, "Sadly, no, but we think we do know who your parents are."

Silya was growled, "Your lying."

"Silya, there was a Mandalorian family who had brown hair, very rare when most of everyone in the Mandalorian culture is blonde, but they were brown."

Silya buried her head in her hands.

"They had a single baby girl, but they couldn't take care of her," Kryze continued, "They sent her on a supply ship that would be sent to Kuat."

Silya brought out her pocket knife, "SHUT UP!".

Kryze didn't and without Silya's force powers she would defeat the girl easily, "On that very same day a newborn baby of Veeko Cipo had been born, but that baby had died, and as the husband went to get medicine for the kid, he found the girl."

Silya lunged at her but two Mandalorians stopped her and Kryze continued, "When the Cipo baby died the husband walked into the house and showed the baby he found, then they named her Silya, and that's the very girl you are."

Silya relaxed and realized that they were right. She started crying. She hated lies. But she still loved her parents. She looked up and wiped away her tears.

"May I see them before I make my choice?" she asked.

Kryze sighed, "Their dead."

The entire ship was silent now except for the beep of the hyperdrive's fuel. Silya sat down and hugged her legs to her chest. Her spirit was drained out of her. And she knew why she couldn't use the Force. It was them. Even if they weren't her parents, they were her string, they were her source, in short, she needed them. She started sobbing and the room emptied except for Kryze sitting next to her. She showed no somberness, she just asked, "What's your decision."

Silya stood up and turned to her. She knew she had to say yes. And so she did.

They landed on the moon of Mandalore or one of the moons at least. It seemed abandoned and it looked as if all the drama was happening on the planet. Silya stepped off and followed Kryze to a tent. She was given armor and she sat down and stared at it. Kryze looked at her.

"Change," she said.

So Silya went into the other room and did so. When she came out she had the same armor as Kryze except instead of the horns on her helmet. Silya decided that later she'd put a flower. She stepped out and Kryze walked up to her.

"We'd make you go through the training but we doubt you need any," she said. Silya rolled her eyes and walked past her. She put on her helmet and stared in the mirror. She realized that this must be what clones do all the time. She was suddenly desperate to fit in. She realized that there was still hair sticking out of her helmet. She yanked it off and ran to Bo-Katan again.

"I need my hair cut," she said and Kryze nodded.

"Anything specific?" she asked.

"I want it blonde," she replied.

Kryze took her to a room and made her sit in a chair. The next was a blur, a woman came in and had scissors in her hands she did a bunch of things. BUt Silya wasn't paying any attention. She was thinking of her parents who, well, weren't her parents. But they still took her in because they were kind. Mid-way Silya started crying again but stopped after she looked in the mirror again. She stared at herself. She had graduated from brown to blonde and she liked it. The weirdest part was that she actually looked Mandalorian.

She sighed, "I think I like it," she put her helmet back on and went outside.

Kryze spotted her and waved her over.

"We need one important character before we continue," she told Silya. Bo-Katan was taller than her by at least two inches so she had to lean in.

"Who?" Silya asked.

"Ahsoka Tano," Kryze said and Silya looked at her, "But she's a Jedi, she'd never help you."

Kryze shook her head, "She left the Order voluntarily."

Silya was in shock, "That- I thought that I was the only one who did that!".

Kryze shook her head, "She left after they betrayed her."

"Like always," Silya thought.

"I and a few of us are going to Coruscant to retrieve her, you stay here, when it's time, you'll board a ship to meet us at a rendevous point with most everyone else."

Silya tilted her head under her helmet, "Where's that?".

"You'll see, but we're not leaving just yet, we still need to pinpoint her exact location."

Silya nodded, "I'll see you then."

Kryze called after her, "And practice with those gears."

Thanks for reading!

Shout out to that Guest Reader who said my character was a Mary-Sue because I really do agree with him, I'm trying to change that up a little. So technically, by taking away her force powers I've taken away her weapon.

Anyway, stay safe, and goodbye!
