Avengers Elseworlds Chapter 26

Clark then sees the book as Deegan breaks free hitting with yet another Thunderclap as she zooms in for the book and blasts Clark. However the blast also manages to hit Lois as she's sent flying in the air.

"Lois!" Clark said as she screams

Barry and Kara successfully went fast enough to slow down time as everything appears in slow motion. Lois was slowly falling more and more as Barry and Kara's body continued to deteriorate with the amount of high speed.

All hope seemed to be lost as then Oliver arrived armed with a blue Kryptonite arr8as he fired directly at Deegan.

Time resumed as normal. Clark rescues Lois, and Barry and Kara are alright.

"Told ya you'd catch me" Lois said as Clark smiled.

Meanwhile Deegan felt the book's effects as he's back to normal but at the cost of being disfigured.

The Book of Destiny was charred and burnt as Oliver walks over to pick it up. The heroes all joined together in victory.

"Barry and Kara. You'd had more faith in them then I did"

"Told ya you gotta have faith" added Carol

"If I know Kara as well as I know Barry, is that when things get tough he doesn't slow down. He digs deep and runs faster" said Oliver.

"That's my cousin to a T" added Clark

Barry and Kara then on cue arrive shocked that they're still alive as the plan worked as they fist bumped.

"Then you know why I had faith in them" Oliver adds.

AMAZO's deactivated body comes crashing down as Braniac lands holding some parts in his hand.

"This looks like anything I should do with this? It's AMAZO's motherboard"

Later that night at the reality resorted Star Labs, it was once again time for goodbyes.

"So this is becoming an annual thing" said Kara

"Does this mean we'll team up again soon?" asked Peter

"Wait...are you smiling?" Kara asked

"I kinda like you guys. Same goes for you gua"said Oliver also referring to The Avengers.

"I gotta say. New World, new friends. Beating up bad guys? Wouldn't want it any other way" said Carol.

"If you don't mind actually, I do have a Kingdom to go home to" said T'Challa.

"I hope to see you l again soon" said J'onn

"Hopefully without having to give Lois another reason to dive head first into danger" said Clark

"I'll dive where you dive babe" added Lois.

"Cisco, would you do the honors" asked Kara.

"Anything for my favorite Kryptonian" replied Cisco.

"Actually Mr. Ramón. If you don't mind. I'll take it from here" said Strange.

"Whatever you say Sherlock Holmes" added Cisco

"Wait. Barry and I have to make a stop somewhere" said Oliver

"We do?" Barry asked in confusion

Oliver then looks over at Natasha as Barry also remembered.

"Oh yeah. Oliver had me and him promise Natasha's son James that we'd deliver her home safely"

"Hold on. I'm not missing out on meeting the kids of Captain America!" Kara said.

"I have an idea" said Barry as he zoomed to get his and Oliver's suits.

"Guess we're doing this in style?" added Oliver.

Earth-19999

Rogers Farmhouse Estate.

Steve was doing the dishes after making the kids dinner. James and Sarah were watching cartoons as Steve hears the sound of a car pull up.

A knock was heard in the door.

"MOMMY'S HOME!" shouted the twins as the rushed to open the door as there Stood Barry Oliver, Kara, Clark and J'onn all suited up.

"Excuse me? Does this house belong to a James and Sarah?" asked Oliver.

"Who are you mister? Are you guys heroes?" asked James.

Oliver and Barry took off their masks.

"MR OLIVER AND MR BARRY!" said James and Sarah giving the two a hug

"Is our mommy okay?" asked Sarah

"Safe and sound as we promised" said Barry as everyone made way so Natasha could see her family.

She rushed to the house as she picked up both her kids hugged them and spun them around.

"I missed you guys so much" said Natasha as she kissed her kids.

Steve then walks in as he sees what's going on.

"Allen, Queen, Danvers. Good to see you guys"

"Wait. Who's the blonde lady and why does she remind me of Auntie Carol.

Kara then leans down as the twins.

You know it's funny you say that, my name is Kara Danvers. Your Auntie Carol and I just so happen to share that last name.

"You're a superhero like Mr. Barry and Oliver?" asked James

"What's your super name?" asked Sarah.

"Well. I'm Supergirl! And that over there is my cousin Superman and our friend Martian Manhunter!" said Kara

"That's so cool. You're so cool Miss Kara!" said Sarah.

"Steve then walks over to introduce himself.

"Steve Rogers"

"Clark Kent"

"J'onn J'onzz"

"You must be this Captain America I heard about. The man out of time" said Clark

"You'd be right" Steve replied.

"My wife would kill me if I couldn't get you to interview her. A story of a man who fought in World War II and frozen for 70 years would be criminal to pass up on writing" said Clark

"I assume you're a reporter?" Steve asks

"Daily Planet"

"Haven't heard of it. All New York has is The Daily Bugle"

"We really are longway from home aren't we Kent?" asked J'onn with a smile.

"I love these kids" said Kara with a smile.

"Hey don't forget about us!" said Carol as with the rest of The New Avengers"

"I'm glad we were able to team up with you guys" said Barry.

"It was fun. Shame that you guys have to leave" added Carol.

"Well... I have an idea for the kids for something fun just before I send everyone home.

Outside Barry and Clark were in a starting position as with Kara and Carol.

"Okay here are the rules. One lap, around the world, first team to get here wins. What's it gonna be? Boys vs The Danvers or Team Krypton vs Team Captain Marvel and Flash?" asked Oliver

"This looks like a job for the dynamic Danvers duo!" said Kara as she winked at Sarah.

"READY! SET!" Oliver shouted as he signals Strange to start the race.

As Doctor Strange set off magic fireworks, the teams dashed off as the race was on!
