Spencer's POV:

I didn't feel comfortable leaving Charley alone at the house. Yeah, it's her parents but people change over the years. I was so worried.

I came back to the hotel and she still hasn't come back. I waited for an hour and started to panic. Finally, an hour later she came back and I was so relieved. I hugged her but she pulled away and it looked like she's been crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked but she didn't answer and went to the bathroom and I heard the shower running.

The shower stopped and I knocked on the door and asked, "Are you okay?"

She opens the door and said, "I am going to stay here for a while but you need to get back to work so take the car and tell Hotch I'll be there soon." She then closed the door and hesitantly started packing.

She left the bathroom and I said, "Are you sure you want to be here by yourself?"

She nodded at me and said, "There is a lot to catch up and I need time on my own."

I understood what she meant so I said, "I am here for you. Please don't shut me out because I want you to be happy."

She smiled and hugged me and I said, "I am going to fly back and you keep the car okay," she nodded and we just sat holding each other for a while. I knew she didn't want to let me go and I wanted this moment to last forever. I've been in love before but being with her I have different kinds of feelings. I couldn't explain it but I needed need to because I liked it.

The next day she dropped me off at the airport and I was on my way back to Virginia.

It was late when I arrived home and I felt sad because I didn't have Charley with me but I knew she was going to be okay. I went to bed and instantly fell asleep.

My alarm was going off and I did not want to get out of bed. I dragged myself out and stumbled to the bathroom and slowly made my way to the office. I enter and I only saw Hotch and no one else. I walked up to Hotch and he said relieved, "Oh thank God Reid for your here."

I asked him where everyone was and he responded, "They left and it's my fault. Look I need to know if Charley is coming back?"

I shook my head saying she wanted to stay longer, and Hotch was disappointed but understood.

Hotch looked at his phone, "I am trying to get Nina off of suspension and if I succeed hopefully Emily will return and then J.J and the rest of the team."

I looked at him and said, "Did everyone leave because of you?" He just nodded ad said, "I had no right to treat Nina so terribly and making you guys hiding this secrete from them. This is all my fault and I don't think the team will forgive me."

Hotch looked like he was really sorry and so I said, "I'll call J.J. and Morgan to tell them to come and if I am correct Garcia will be with him too. You try to get a hold of David."

Hotch said, "David is coming back once everyone else is back so they are our first priority." I nodded and started making phone calls.

I first called J.J and explained everything and she said she will come back until Emily is there, so I hung up and called Morgan. He said that he will join when J.J, Emily, and Nina are back because of that how we will get Garcia back too.

What was standing between the team was fear and secretes and my job was to get them back together so I called Emily.

One ring, two rings, three, "Hello?" I heard from not Emily but Nina. I asked, "Nina is that you?"

She responded with yes and said that they were on their way back home and Emily was driving. Nina put me on speakerphone and I said, "The team has fallen apart. Right now we only have Hotch and me please tell me you guys are returning?"

I got no response and Emily said, "I don't know Spencer. I am not joining unless or until Nina is back."

I quickly responded, "Hotch is on the phone with the director right now he is trying to lift the suspension." I heard Nina sigh, "If it works I will return to the BAU."

I was overjoyed by her response and asked Emily, "Em. Will you come back?"

Emily said yes and I was about to hang up when Nina stopped me and asked, "How's Charley?"

I said, "She is okay. I don't know if anyone told you but it's-" She cut me off, "I know," so I continued, "I don't think you know that we know where they are."

She screamed in my ear, "Seriously?" I said yes and she asked where, "Victorville, California," I said and again she screamed, "California." I asked her to stop screaming in my ear and she apologized and said that they were just in California and I said, "What a coincidence."

She then hung up. I felt bad because if she was just there she could have met her parents.

Hotch came up to me with a small smile that I've never seen he said, "Nina's suspension is lifted she can return."

I said that it was great and that Emily and she were on their way back to California they have a flight at 5 PM. I took out my phone and put everyone except Charley and texted, "Nina your suspension is lifted. Will you come back?"

Nina responded, "Emily and I will return tomorrow," and a thumbs-up emoji. Then J.J. responded I'll be there tomorrow too and everyone else sent many celebratory emojis.

It seems Hotch was excited but nervous to see Nina again. I hope they will figure everything out.
