Mal'dar
Mal'dar flew the ship to the outskirts of Chaleydonia, the capital of Christophsis. The crystal buildings speared towards the sky, glittering in the sunlight. The coms briefly crackled and a voice came over them, "This is the Chaleydonia tower, please dock in bay 17".
"Headed there now," said Mal'dar and he turned off the com.
He landed the ship in the docking bay and grabbed his jet pack. Mal'dar attached it to his back while Cad Bane looked at him impatiently, "You should always be ready".
Mal'dar gazed at him steadily, "I have six weapons in my armor, a blaster, a flamethrower, a blade, a repulsor, a dart launcher, and a wire, not including my shield. Four hidden weapons on my person, two blasters, and two blades. I am also trained in hand to hand combat, so don't accuse me of being unprepared".
Cad Bane swished a toothpick in his mouth, "We'll see how you can use them".
The two walked out of the ship and through the city. The city was bustling with people which the pair shouldered past, Todo floating just behind them. They slowly neared the Republic complex which had several clones standing in front of it. "Todo your up," said Bane.
"Yes I know," sighed Todo. He flew up into the air and began scanning the complex. After several seconds he flew back down to them. "The Jedi is in a room near the back of the complex".
"Alright, we'll wait till nightfall," said Bane.
The sun moved across the sky, and people moved through the city with it. As the sun began to set, some people went to their homes and some businesses closed, while some people still wandered, and others came out and some businesses opened their doors to receive those who walked in the moonlight.
"You're up," said Mal'dar looking up at Bane.
"Yeah," he said and tossed his toothpick to the ground, "I know".
Bane crouched down and ran over to the wall that surrounded the republic compound, Todo just behind him. Bane activated his boot repulsors and began scaling the wall. He stopped on top of it and scanned the courtyard. It was mostly filled with vehicles, though several clones wandered it.
Bane dropped down and crept towards the base, staying in the shadow of the wall. He checked for clones and then sprinted to an walker, hiding behind it's leg. Bane scanned again and sprinted towards the compound. He activated his boot repulsors and landed on the roof of the compound.
Inside the compound a CT-1313 looked up at the ceiling, "Did you hear something?"
His brother looked at him skeptically, "I think you have a loose wire in your helmet".
Bane walked slowly on the roof, staying low and Todo just behind him. Bane stopped and looked down, "Cut here, quick!" He activated his coms, "Go now".
"Ok, ok," said Todo. He activated his cutter and quickly cut a circle in the ceiling.
Mal'dar activated his jetpack and flew over the complex.
Bane leapt down and landed between two clone officers, who sat behind a large circular computer station.
"What the?!" yelled one.
Mal'dar landed on top of the roof in the back of the complex.
Both of Bane's blasters were instantly out and he shot both of the officers. He ducked under the station as the three clone troopers who were in the room fired at him. Bane fired rapidly and they fell the ground, smoking scorch marks on their armor. Bane pulled the computer spike from his jacket and plugged it in. It began spinning not making any progress. "COME ON!" Bane yelled at it.
Mal'dar set a charge on the roof, stepped back, and activated it. The explosion instantly drew every eye and clones began firing at him, but Mal'dar paid them no mind. He hopped down into the room, and Qaath Kannak Jedi Knight, activated his lightsaber.
The computer spike kept spinning, making no progress then suddenly shot into the terminal the was an audible clang as every door shut and locked. The lights flickered then went out, and the red emergency lights came on. Bane smiled.
There was an audible click as the door behind Qaath locked, and Mal'dar activated his flamethrower. Qaath flipped backwards and force pushed Mal'dar. Mal'dar slammed into the wall, and Qaath leapt at him lightsaber raised. Mal'dar activated his repulsor and Qaath flew backwards and hit the ground. Mal'dar began firing rapidly at the Jedi who desperately blocked the blast. Mal'dar fired a wire at Qaath, and the wire wrapped around Qaath's wrist. Mal'dar fired at Qaath who blocked the blast and pulled Mal'dar towards him. Mal'dar stumbled forward, and Qaath slashed at Mal'dar. Mal'dar sidestepped the slash and blasted at Qaath. Qaath deflected the shot which struck Mal'dar chest piece. Mal'dar stumbled back and Qaath cut the wire. Mal'dar raised his blaster and Qaath pulled them from his grasp with the force.
"Surrender," said Qaath twirling his lightsaber.
Mal'dar fired his flamethrower as he ran at Qaath. Qaath deactivated his lightsaber and raised his hands, straining as he held off the flames. Mal'dar tackled Qaath whose lightsaber clattered to the ground.
A blade shot out of Mal'dar's gauntlet and he stabbed Qaath in the chest. Qaath yelled in pain and force pushed Mal'dar off of him. Mal'dar shot to his and Qaath stood unsteadily. Qaath held out his hand and his lightsaber flew into, and he activated the green blade.
Bane leapt into the room and immediately began firing at Qaath. Qaath desperately blocked the blast. Mal'dar pulled a grenade from his belt and threw it at Qaath's feet. Qaath was blasted back and slammed against the door, his lightsaber laid by his side. He was quite young, only just starting to grow out a beard, though otherwise his face clean, for he not old enough to have gotten any wrinkles.
Mal'dar picked up his blaster and leveled them at Qaath whose robes were stained by blood he was coughing. Mal'dar fired, and Qaath slumped over.
"Take his lightsaber, we'll need it as proof," said Bane activating his repulsor boots and taking to the roof.
Mal'dar picked up the lightsaber, and cast one more look at Qaath Kannak before taking to the skies.
They both flew over the wall, the blast from the clones nearly hitting them. They sprinting through the streets until they got to Mal'dar's ship and they disappeared in space.
They emerged from hyperspace and overlooked the planet of Serenno. They landed without incident and walked towards Count Dooku's palace. Dooku walked towards them a bemused look on his face, and two mangaguards shadowing him. "Well this is an unexpected surprise".
Bane held up the lightsaber, "I believe this will be a million credits".
"May I?" asked Dooku holding out his hand.
Bane dropped the lightsaber in Dooku's hand and Dooku held it up with force, spinning it and examining it. "Indeed it shall," said Dooku pushing the saber back to them with the force. Mal'dar took the lightsaber, and Bane the money.
Mal'dar took his cut and the lightsaber. Bane had elected to take a ship from Serenno and go to Courasant. Mal'dar arrived back Carlac and handed the money over to Bo-Katan. "Good job," she said.
"Got anything for me to do?" Mal'dar asked as she overlooked the money.
Bo-Katan shook her head, "Not yet, I'll keep you posted".
