Chapter 20: Enter the Dragon
In the Xiaolin Temple...
Master Fung, Omi, Alice, Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay watched as Dojo hammered a small wooden box he created.
"What's with Dojo?"Kimiko asked.
"I'm afraid it is Dojo's ailment."Master Fung answered."It is about to make itself known."
"Why is everyone staring at me like I'm some kinda freak?"Dojo questioned with a glare and then his eyes became crazy. "I am not a freak!"
"Easy there fella, nobody said anything."Clay replied and looked at his fellow monks. "Out loud."
A blank look appeared on Dojo's face.
"So what is this about, Master Fung?"Alice asked.
"It happens once every 1500 years or so."Master Fung explained. "A craving for Shen Gong Wu so overpowering he will be forced to devour anything in his path to get to them. If not stopped-"
"The world will cease to exist as we know it."Raimundo finished.
"Exactly."Master Fung agreed. "He will have to be locked in the box for 24 hours."
Dojo hanged a picture of Raimundo, Kimiko, Omi, Alice and Clay inside the box.
"Has Dojo ever gotten out of his box?"Omi asked.
"It has only happened once."Master Fung replied. "It was the last time anyone saw Atlantis."
"I always thought that place was a fictional tale."Alice thought in disturbance.
Suddenly Dojo started to shake widely.
"It's happening!"Raimundo warned. "It's happening!"
Dojo started roaring, but then stopped.
"Sorry, couldn't resist."Dojo apologised and chuckled. "False alarm! But I am sensing a new Shen Gong Wu."
Then a scary expression grew on Dojo's face.
"Or am I?"Dojo asked with a dark smile and started laughing lightly. "Ready to board! Keep your hands inside the dragon at all times!"
Dojo grew bigger to take to take the five monks to the newly activated Shen Gong Wu.
"I am sorry Dojo, but I am afraid it is too risky in your current condition."Master Fung admitted.
Dojo shrunk into his normal form.
"But I have to go!"Dojo protested sadly. "I always go!"
"If you like you could draw up a map for the others to follow."Master Fung suggested.
"Okay! Okay!"Dojo grumbled and began drawing a map. "If you want a map, I'll draw you a map."
Master Fung looked at Omi, Alice, Kimiko, Clay and Raimundo.
"Since Dojo will be indisposed, you will take the Silver Manta Ray."Master Fung admitted and took out the Silver Manta Ray.
Raimundo took the Silver Manta Ray from Master Fung.
"Whoa!"Raimundo chuckled. "Silver Manta Ray!"
The Silver Manta Ray activated and turned into an aircraft in the shape of a manta ray causing the five monks to become excited.
"However one of you will have to stay behind to watch Dojo."Master Fung admitted.
"Master Fung is wise as always, Raimundo, you will remain behind."Omi suggested.
Raimundo growled at Omi.
"No Omi, you will be the one who stays."Master Fung admitted.
This caused the Dragon of Water to complain.
"Why should I remain behind and Raimundo go?"Omi complained. "It took him the longest to become an Apprentice and no one thought he would make it!"
Raimundo frowned and cleared his throat.
"Except for me."Omi added with a nervous grin.
"Remember the smaller assignments are often the more difficult ones."Master Fung instructed.
Dojo gives Omi a hug and a kiss on the head causing the small boy to blush.
Afterwards...
Raimundo, Kimiko, Alice and Clay travelled on the Silver Manta Ray to a snow area of a mountain.
Kimiko wore a emerald green coat with a pink hat.
Alice wore a red cheery coat with matching ear-puffs on her head.
"Let's pack this Wu!"Clay stated.
The four monks jumped out of the Silver Manta Ray and spotted the Tunnel Armadillo lying on a pile of snow.
"The Tunnel Armadillo!"Kimiko said.
Raimundo rushed toward the Tunnel Armadillo, but then Jack arrived on his black jet.
"Looks like you came all the way here for nothing, Xiaolin Losers!"Jack cackled.
Jack began firing missiles towards Raimundo causing the Dragon of Wind to move out of the way.
The Tunnel Armadillo landed on the side of the area.
"Use the Shen Gong Wu!"Raimundo called out and took out the Monkey Staff.
Kimiko held out the Changing Chopsticks, Alice pulled out the Tangle Web Comb and Clay took out the Tongue of Saiping.
"Thanks."Jack stated smugly and held out the Glove of Jisaku. "Glove of Jisaku!"
The Glove of Jisaku took the Shen Gong Wu that the four monks were holding out even the Tunnel Armadillo.
"Brilliant!"Wuya said evilly. "For once you did something right!"
"You know an evil genius can take that the wrong way."Jack warned with a frown.
The Jack took off his vehicle while Raimundo, Kimiko, Alice and Clay watched with glares on their faces.
Back at the Xiaolin Temple...
Omi happily ate a plate of egg rolls as Dojo shape-shifted himself into Master Fung.
"Omi, it is Master Fung!"'Master Fung' said. "Dojo is holding me prisoner!"
"No!"Omi snapped and ate another egg roll. "I do not believe you!"
Dojo shape-shifted into a crying little girl.
"Please, let me out."the 'little girl' sobbed. "I'm lost!"
"No!"Omi answered simply. "I will not!"
Dojo shape-shifted into 'Omi's mother'.
"Omi! This is your mother speaking!"the 'lady' warned. "Let me out this instinct!"
"Dojo, you are merrily wasting your efforts!"Omi reminded. "Besides I am a orphan!"
Dojo changed into 'Omi'.
"Omi! It's Omi!"Fake Omi called out. "You've got to let me out!"
"Ugh!"Omi groaned angrily. "This is getting most ridiculous!"
Dojo changed back into his normal self.
"Okay! So I got carried away!"Dojo cried. "But honestly I'm famished! Please give me a egg roll! Just slip into the box!"
Omi frowned and walked forward holding the plate of egg rolls.
"Very well."Omi said. "But-"
Omi looked into the box and saw Dojo was gone.
"Dojo?! This is not possible!"Omi panicked and unlocked the box. "Where did you go?!"
A hand tapped Omi's head and the little boy saw Dojo above him.
"Up here."Dojo answered.
Dojo went out of the box and locked Omi in it.
The green dragon grows larger and grew a second head.
"Now give me those egg rolls!"Dojo demanded.
The second head gets the plate of egg rolls causing him and Dojo to eat them together as Omi watched in terror.
"Hate to interrupt, but we're sensing a new Wu!"Dojo admitted. "But don't worry, we'll back for stir fried Omi!"
The Two Headed Dojo cackled evilly and flew away leaving Omi by himself.
Not long after, Raimundo, Kimiko, Alice and Clay arrived back to the temple with the Silver Manta Ray.
"My fellow warriors."Omi responded. "I would be most appreciative if you'd be so kind as to...OPEN THIS DOOR!"
"Omi?"Clay asked. "How in tarnation did you get yourself in there?"
Clay reached out his hand to open the box but then Raimundo stopped him.
"Wait."Raimundo instructed. "What if it's Dojo morphed into the form of Omi?"
"No! It is not Dojo!"Omi protested. "It is me!"
"That's pretty good, Dojo."Raimundo complemented smugly.
"I AM NOT DOJO!"Omi screamed in anger.
"Where is the real Omi?"Kimiko asked.
"Umm...guys?"Alice said with a startled look. "I am pretty sure that is the real Omi."
"No way, rabbit head."Raimundo denied. "He must have abandoned his post. Figures."
"I did not abandon my post!"Omi argued. "I am at my post! Actually, I am inside my post! But that Dojo pulled his sweater over my eyes!"
"Okay."Raimundo replied and opened the door. "That's got to be Omi."
Omi walked out of the box.
"Looks like we're we're all feeling lower than a snake's belly today."Clay admitted. "We lost five Shen Gong Wu."
Then Master Fung rushed forward and bend down to check the opened box.
"Who let Dojo out?"Master Fung questioned.
Raimundo, Kimiko, Alice and Clay stepped away from Omi.
"I am so ashamed."Omi said sadly. "It appears Dojo is one very crafty Dragon."
"This is not good."Master Fung stated while rubbing his head.
"How bad is it really?"Raimundo asked with a shrug.
Suddenly dark energy exploded outside the temple and it's smoke went up the sky.
"It had already began."Master Fung warned grimly. "A thousand years of darkness."
Clay, Omi, Alice and Raimundo stood nervously behind Master Fung.
Alice started biting her finger nails in fear as Kimiko asked Master Fung a question.
"Why a thousand?"Kimiko asked.
"It is really 962."Master Fung answered. "But a thousand sounds more ominous."
Meanwhile...
"AHHHHH!"Wuya screamed in agony. "DOJO IS OUT! IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!"
Jack snickered as he made a robot claw from his vehicle grab the Ju-Ju Flytrap from inside a lake.
"The Ju-Ju Flytrap is mine."Jack remarked and glared at Wuya. "And take it easy with ear bleeding scream!"
"We must hide while we can!"Wuya warned nervously.
Wuya flew into Jack's body causing the evil boy genius to shiver in disgust.
"Boundaries, please!"Jack reminded. "You know I don't like that!"
Wuya went out of Jack's body.
"It's only a matter of time!"Wuya snapped. "We must prepare for Dojo!"
Dark clouds started forming in the sky.
"What are you so afraid of?"Jack asked as he pressed a few buttons on his vehicle. "You don't even have a body."
Then Two Headed Dojo appeared in front of the vehicle's screen.
"Dojo?"Jack asked in surprise.
"You got something that belongs to me."Dojo said with a evil smile.
"Yeah? So just try and get it!"Jack challenged.
"I was hoping you'd say that."Second Dojo answered darkly.
The Two Headed Dojo cackled as Jack fired missiles towards them.
But the missiles did no damage to the Dojo heads.
Jack fired a bomb on Two Headed Dojo causing the green dragon to be surrounded by flames.
"Yes!"Jack cheered in victory. "Jack Spicer! Ruler of the Universe!"
Two Headed Dojo blew away the flames around him.
"Enough warm ups!"Dojo scowled.
"Go ahead."Second Dojo threatened with a evil smirk. "Give us your best shot."
"My best shot."Jack repeated weakly.
Jack made his head shrunk underneath his coat as he pressed a button to make his vehicle into a submarine to dive into the lake.
Two Headed Dojo used bamboo sticks to drink all the water in the lake to find Jack's submarine.
"Changing Chopsticks!"Jack chanted.
The Changing Chopsticks made the submarine grow very small as Two headed Dojo finished drinking up the lake.
Two Headed Dojo moved the rock that Jack's submarine was hiding in.
"Okay! Okay!"Jack said nervously. "How about a deal?"
Second Dojo grabbed the submarine with tongue.
"You fool!"Wuya growled. "How can you let this happen?!"
Second Dojo devoured Jack's submarine and laughed sinisterly.
Back in the Xiaolin Temple...
The five monks took the Shen Gong Wu that they were going to use to fight Dojo.
"Maybe we should take the Shen Gong Wu and leave?"Raimundo suggested.
"It will not matter where or how far we travel, Dojo will find us."Master Fung stated.
"As always, Master Fung is most wise."Omi admitted. "The most honourable warrior would stay-"
The group became alarmed when they spotted Two Headed Dojo passing above the meditation room.
"Fight."Omi finished weakly.
Dark clouds and thunderstorms formed in the sky as the five monks and Master Fung rushed out.
"He does know how to make an entrance."Kimiko replied.
"I got me a powerful craving for some Shen Gong Wu!"Dojo remarked.
"One stomach and two mouths to feed!"Second Dojo laughed.
Second Dojo breathed out fire causing some of Raimundo and Kimiko's hair to be burned out.
"Fist of Tebigong!"Clay chanted.
"Eye of Dashi!"Kimiko chanted.
The Fist of Tebigong made the ground open as Two Headed Dojo got hit by the Eye of Dashi's electricity, sending the green dragon down.
"Sorry!"Clay called out.
However Two Headed Dojo flew back up and swallowed the Fist of Tebigong before eating Clay as well.
"Clay!"Kimiko shouted.
"I'm okay!"Clay assured from inside Dojo's throat. "First time I've been on the wrong end of the fork!"
Two Headed Dojo laughed evilly as they looked at the Omi, Alice, Raimundo, Kimiko and Master Fung.
The evil dragon looked at Alice and sniffed her.
"What is that tasty smell?"Dojo snickered.
"Just my Italian rose perfume, creep."Alice said distastefully and held out the Komori Sword.
"I think having a quick dessert should do before the main meal."Second Dojo requested.
"Great idea!"Dojo agreed with a evil smile. "I am in the mood for something sweet like a sugar bunny!"
Two Headed Dojo lunged towards Alice causing Omi to grab the pink haired girl by the arm to move her out of the way.
Omi and Alice started running together while avoiding Dojo's hands and fire that was trying to catch them.
"Star Hanabi!"Kimiko chanted.
"Sword of the Storm!"Raimundo chanted.
Kimiko and Raimundo send a fiery hurricane towards Two Headed Dojo causing the green dragon to get trapped.
"We did it!"Raimundo chuckled.
Suddenly Two Headed Dojo cancelled the fiery hurricane before breathing out fire to destroy parts of the Xiaoin Temple.
"Oh boy, did we do this..."Kimiko said nervously.
Two Headed Dojo flew forward before devouring Raimundo and Kimiko.
"So that's what it looks like!"Raimundo said.
"There is somethings I don't want to see!"Kimiko murmured.
Raimundo and Kimiko ended up inside Dojo's stomach.
"Raimundo! Kimiko!"Alice shouted in shock and became angry. "Komori Sword, ICE!"
Alice unleashed a big gust of ice breeze to freeze Two Headed Dojo in a big chunk of ice.
"That should hold you still."Alice complemented.
But then the big chunk of ice broke and Alice got grabbed by Dojo.
Alice screamed in terror as Dojo devoured her in one gulp.
"Mmm..."Dojo remarked and licked his lips. "Strawberries and vanilla."
Then Two Headed Dojo grabbed Master Fung and placed him into his tongue as Omi watched in shock.
"Remember, Omi."Master Fung warned calmly. "The future of the world is in your hands."
Then Master Fung got eaten by Dojo.
"NOOOO!"Omi yelled out in sorrow.
In Dojo's Stomach...
Alice groaned as she stood up and rubbed her head.
The pink haired girl looked at her surroundings and notice she was walking in objects that Dojo has eaten.
Alice shivered and gagged in disgust.
"Ew!"Alice scoffed as she began walking. "This is rotten cheese and pipe tobacco all together!"
Alice continued walking and brightened up when she caught sight of Clay, Kimiko and Raimundo standing in a purple thing that was keeping them warm.
"You okay, Allie?"Clay asked.
"Yeah."Alice answered and sat down next to her friends. "At least we all know that the inside of a dragon is a disgusting place."
Then a familiar scream was heard and something landed not far from where the four young teenagers were.
"Omi is here."Kimiko admitted.
"Kimiko! Raimundo! Clay! Allie!"Omi said in joy as he ran forward. "You have not been eaten alive by stomach acid!"
"Reckon we're lucky Dojo never learned to chew his food."Clay replied.
Then a panicking Jack Spicer and Wuya flew by.
"There is no way out!"Jack panicked as he moved his flashlight around the area. "Except one but I wouldn't recommend it without a wet suit."
"You are such a whiner, Jack Spicer!"Wuya complained.
"What do we do now that we're all captured?"Raimundo asked.
"I have not been truly captured."Omi answered with a weak grin. "I have only allowed myself to be captured as part of my elaborate plan to save the world from 1000 years of darkness!"
"You mean 962 years."Alice corrected.
"And what plan?"Kimiko questioned.
"I will just need a few of the Shen Gong Wu Dojo's already eaten."Omi replied. "The Reversing Mirror, the Changing Chopsticks and the Shroud of Shadows!"
Kimiko rushed forward to get the Reversing Mirror.
"I got the mirror!"Kimiko announced.
Alice picked the Tangle Web Comb that lied next to the remains of Jack's broken down submarine.
"Found the Tangle Web Comb, but no sign of the Changing Chopsticks!"Alice shouted.
"I think Jack's got the Changing Chopsticks."Raimundo stated as he picked up the Shroud of Shadows.
Jack and Wuya flew passed Raimundo.
"You know, I never admitted this before, but I don't do well in enclosed spaces!"Jack freaked out.
Clay grabbed Jack by the arms.
"Easy there, partner."Clay instructed.
"Jack Spicer."Omi said calmly. "If we are ever to get out of here, we must have the Changing Chopsticks!"
"You want them, you got them!"Jack answered and took out the Changing Chopsticks. "I have got to get out of here!"
Jack threw the Changing Chopsticks to Omi.
"NOOO!"Wuya screamed in rage.
"By the way, why can't you just fly out of here?"Jack asked.
"Good idea."Wuya agreed with a smirk.
Wuya flew out of Dojo's stomach causing Jack to panic even more.
"NO!"Jack yelled and rushed where Wuya escaped in. "YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ALL ALONE!"
Clay looked at Omi.
"Haven't you forgotten something, Omi?"Clay asked. "Like how your gonna get outta Dojo?"
"Changing Chopsticks!"Omi chanted.
The Changing Chopsticks made Omi as tiny as a grain of rice.
"And now, if Kimiko could summon her power of Fire to warm things up a little."Omi instructed.
"Judolette Flip, FIRE!"Kimiko shouted.
Kimiko began flipping around to release fire waves in Dojo's stomach causing the area to warm up.
Omi sunk into the folds of skin of the stomach.
"Looks like Dojo's gonna sweat the little guy."Raimundo admitted.
Alice untied her hair loose to squeeze out the sweat on her head.
"Allie, how about a bit of your snow powder to chill things out?"Clay suggested while moving his hat.
"No problem."Alice assured and leapt up. "Freeze Powder, ICE!"
Alice unleashed a powder of snow in Dojo's stomach causing her, Clay, Kimiko, Raimundo and Jack to pop their heads up.
"Suddenly I feel too cold."Kimiko stated.
"Oops."Alice chuckled with a awkward smile.
Outside...
Omi used the Changing Chopsticks to escape through a sweat gland on Dojo's nose.
Two Headed Dojo arrived to the location of the Silk Spitter, which was in a canyon.
"Ooh, the Silk Spitter!"Dojo said smugly.
"Reversing Mirror!"Omi chanted. "Changing Chopsticks!"
The Dragon of Water returned to normal size just as Dojo was preparing to devour the newly revealed Silk Spitter.
Omi touched the Silk Spitter the same time as the two-headed Dojo, starting a Xiaolin Showdown.
"Not so fast!"Omi warned. "I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown!"
"We haven't got anything to wager!"Dojo reminded.
"I am sure you can cough something out."Omi suggested.
Second Dojo coughs out a cat fur ball.
"Just a furball from someone's cat."Second Dojo said.
Dojo threw the furball away before coughing up the Fist of Tebigong.
"I wager the Fist of Tebigong for the Changing Chopsticks!"Second Dojo stated.
"The contest will be who can capture who first!"Omi challenged. "Let's go! Xiaolin Showdown!"
When the showdown started, many rocks fall down from above.
The arena for the showdown was very big with Omi and Two Headed Dojo being a speck in it.
"Gong Yi Tanpai!"Two Headed Dojo and Omi yelled out.
"That phrase did always made me hungry."Dojo admitted with a grin.
Omi immediately started running down a path with Dojo in heavy pursuit.
The Dragon of Water threw up a pebble.
"Changing Chopsticks!"Omi chanted. "Reversing Mirror!"
Omi used the Changing Chopsticks and the Reversing mirror to turn a pebble into a very large rock and hurl it at Two Headed Dojo.
Omi ran into a small tunnel but Two Headed Dojo couldn't reach inside it.
Two Headed Dojo started blowing fire down the tunnel to lure Omi out.
Omi gets shot out of a lava geyser while sitting on a piece of rock.
Omi lands in a pile of lava and beings jumping from one pillar of rock to the next.
Dojo breathed fire at Omi again.
"Reversing Mirror!"Omi chanted.
Omi sends the fire back at Dojo with the Reversing Mirror.
Omi continued jumping until he finds a dead end.
"Uh oh!"Omi said in worry.
"With all these Shen Gong Wu, I may have to go on a diet!"Dojo admitted.
"Nonsense!"Second Dojo replied. "You never looked better!"
Two Headed Dojo went towards Omi.
"Shroud of Shadows!"Omi chanted.
Dojo tried to eat Omi, but the Dragon of Water escapes with the Shroud of Shadows causing the Dojo heads to eat lava.
Omi reappeared and started taunting Dojo.
"You have proven a most proven adversary."Omi admitted. "Perhaps I may have a chance to defeat you again!"
"Defeat us?!"Dojo laughed.
Dojo lunged at Omi and gets shoved into his cage.
"Hey! What's going on?!"Dojo demanded.
"Shroud of Shadows!"Omi chanted. "Changing Chopsticks!"
Omi shrinks the cage down to size and locked it, winning the showdown.
"Nice moving, Omi."Second Dojo replied. "Never saw it coming. Thanks for stopping me."
"I am most pleased you have learned your lesson."Omi answered proudly.
"Now that's over you can let me out."Dojo requested with a pleading look.
Omi gives Dojo a glare.
"Okay, okay."Second Dojo said simply. "Can't blame a dragon for trying."
A While Later...
Dojo went back to normal and have regurgitated the rest of the monks and Master Fung.
Omi, in his shame, was cleaning up the temple.
"You did well, young dragon, in resolving your most grievous error."Master Fung admitted.
"I will do my best not to end the world as we know it in the future."Omi vowed.
Dojo looked at Raimundo, Alice and Clay.
"I did all that?"Dojo asked. "Funny, I don't remember a thing!"
"You don't remember eating Master Fung?"Raimundo asked.
"Nope! Just one big blur!"Dojo answered and his stomach began to rumble. "But I'be to admit a serious case of indigestion."
Dojo barfed out Jack causing Kimiko to shriek and run away.
"Nice."Jack muttered. "This shirt was a present from my granny."
