i accidentally put this up on the wrong story so if this seems familiar to anyone, that's what happened. sorry for the confusion guys

Kagome and Sesshomaru appeared at the bottom of the Bone Eater's Well in Kagome's time and she looked up. She looked at Sesshomaru as he breathed heavily against the side of the well, his skin getting clammy and his breathing labored. He wouldn't last long if she didn't get him out. She looked up at the entrance to the well and made a face. Usually InuYasha was with her or she didn't have a broken foot and she could crawl out, but she feared that she would cause herself more harm than good doing it by herself. She remembered packing her cell phone in her backpack and called the house to see if anyone was home so that they could somehow help her get Sesshomaru out of the well.

Souta was watching a super Saiyan cartoon when his phone rang and he saw it was his sister. He frowned at her calling him and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Souta! That's great! I need you to do me a favor."

"If you can use your phone then that means you're back in our time, right?"

"Yeah."

"I thought you just left?"

"I did but- I don't have time for your twenty questions, Souta. I need you to listen to me carefully."

"Okay, I'm listening."

"Something happened to Sesshomaru in the Feudal Era. It was too much for Kaede so I had to bring him back here. He's hurt really bad and I can't get him out of the well on my own. I need you to call the ambulance and then try to help me out of the well."

"On it!" he yelled, putting his phone in his pocket and running as fast as he could outside.

A few minutes later, he looked over the side of the well and saw his sister and Sesshomaru down at the bottom.

"Kagome." She looked up and he waved to her. "I'm going to lower down a ladder, okay?"

Kagome nodded and waited for Souta to lower the ladder. He climbed down and stood beside her, looking at Sesshomaru's limp body.

"What happened to him?"

"InuYasha happened to him." Souta looked at her in shock. "I can tell you about it later, but we have to get him out of here. He's gone into shock and there was nothing more to be done in the Feudal Era. If he doesn't get proper medical help, he'll die."

"Well, I called the ambulance, so they should be on their way. In the meantime, how are we supposed to get him out of here? He's really heavy and that's with all the armor off!"

"I know that but… we can't leave him down here. What if his wound gets infected?"

"Wound?"

"He's got a bad wound under the bandages… how are we going to explain that?!" Kagome said, suddenly panicking. "Oh my god! I forgot about the gaping hole in his chest! When the doctors take the bandaging off and see that gaping hole they're going to question us!"

"Sis, calm down! We'll figure something out… Seriously, this is no time to panic."

"This is the perfect time to panic!"

"You just stay here and I'll greet the ambulance. I think I hear them coming anyway."

Souta left his hysterical sister in the well and climbed up the ladder, walking across the courtyard between the shrine and the house. He was trying to figure out a way to get Sesshomaru out of the well as well as his sister, since her broken foot may not have allowed her good balance on the ladder. Hearing wailing in the distance, Souta looked up and saw the ambulance coming his way. He would try to smooth it over as best as he could with the paramedics and then let them handle it. They were trained to lift bodies so…

Mrs. Higurashi met Kagome and Souta at the hospital while they were in the waiting room. Kagome got up and met her mother with a hug.

"When I heard you were at the hospital, I got concerned. Are you both alright? Is Grandpa alright?"

"It's not either of us or Grandpa." Souta provided.

"It's Sesshomaru… he got wounded really badly and it was just too late and he just… I don't…"

Mrs. Higurashi put her hand on her daughter's shoulder. "Take your time, sweetie. Tell me what happened."

She led them over to the chairs and they all sat down.

"Something happened in the Feudal Era regarding a jewel infused jar. InuYasha and Sesshomaru got sucked into it and then a few days later, they were spit back out but they switched body types."

"Body… types?"

"InuYasha is a full yokai now and Sesshomaru is a hanyou. They got into a really intense fight and InuYasha wanted to make Sesshomaru go full yokai and so he stabbed him in the chest. His plan backfired though and Sesshomaru was left with a hole in his chest. "

"A hole in his chest?!" Mrs. Higurashi said with a gasp, putting her hand on her chest. "My god, he would be dead by now."

"Well, he's still half yokai, so he heals quicker than we do but this was during a brink. He was still mostly human before the next day's sun rose but he was yokai enough to withstand the initial blow and sustain his life. But he's having issues. This was the only way to keep him alive because we have to get InuYasha's body back to the way it was. He's turning into something he's not and all he does is hurt people. Once in a while he'll go back to normal, but he's turning into a monster."

"Are you all here for the young man in surgery?"

"Yes, I am. What's the prognosis?"

"That's if he had an illness, sis." Souta said with a small smile.

"Right."

"Regarding the wound, it was amazingly shallow so all we had to do was open the incision a little more so that we could get any dead tissue. He was suffering from an internal form of hypovolemic shock, basically bleeding internally. The wound may have been shallow on the outside, but it did a lot of inside damage. There was also a lot of dead tissue in there, as if he had been harboring the damage for days… are you sure he just fell down a well and landed on a rock?"

"That's all we know of." Souta said with a convincing shrug.

"But he's going to live, right?"

"Yes, ma'am. He's in the clear. They got everything out and are sewing him back up at this very moment."

Kagome sighed in relief and practically sank into one of the chairs.

"Thank God…"

"How long will he have to stay here?" Mrs. Higurashi asked.

"Well, considering that depth of the wound and the issues on the inside of his body, I would say about a month or so? He'll need to have round the clock care."

"Yes, I'm sure it will be such a long time." Kagome said with a look to her mother.

The doctor put his pen in his pocket on his coat. "He should be out of surgery soon and then you can see him."

They nodded as he left and Souta smiled at his sister.

"See? Everything is fine, sis."

"No… everything's still messed up. I have to find out a way to get InuYasha and Sesshomaru back to normal or something like this could happen again. I've got to try and look up information on this…"

"Do you want me to help?" Souta asked.

"If you don't mind. I want to be here when Sesshomaru wakes up but I can write down what I'm looking for and see if you can find anything on this particular subject."

"Of course."

Sesshomaru felt like he was floating on clouds, moving through the sky like he used to. He was traveling with Jaken and Rin on his cloud, listening to Jaken talk nonstop and Rin sing her ridiculous little songs at the edge of the cloud. She wasn't being careful, as usual, and was kicking her feet on the edge. Sesshomaru issued a warning to her but all she did was smile and laugh, looking at him with such adoration. Jaken, of course, started to lecture her about the safety of the cloud and the reason she should be happy to be on it. Sesshomaru tried to ignore it but suddenly, he heard Jaken yelling and he looked behind him. He was jumping up and down about Rin and Sesshomaru realized she had fallen off. He sighed angrily and turned, directing the cloud to race after Rin but for some reason, the cloud wouldn't go faster. Sesshomaru tried to get it go faster but instead, he found it was dwindling. He safely landed in a tree, his cloud completely gone and Rin nowhere to be found. Jaken landed harshly, falling down the tree and hitting every branch on the way down.

Sesshomaru scanned the horizon when he realized his sense of smell as diminishing. He made a face and looked down at his hands. His claws were still there but his markings were not. He felt something move on top of his head and reached up, touching a pair of dog ears. He felt like he wanted to vomit, realizing that he was now a hanyou. He looked down at his hands again, only this time, he had no claws at all. The feeling of his ears moving caught his attention and he tried to touch the top of his head, but nothing was there. He touched the sides of his head where he found his ears but they were rounded. He could barely hear anything he needed and his sense of smell was nonexistent. He was human… and humans aren't very strong. He felt himself tipping over from the weight of his armor, falling, falling into the depths of the forest below.

Sesshomaru gasped, his eyes darting everywhere in confusion and fear. Where was he? What was going on? What the hell was that obnoxious beeping? He looked around in fright, unsure where he was or what was happening to him. All he knew was that he was in immense pain still and for some reason, there was a weird thing in his mouth. He reached up to try and remove it when a hand stopped him.

"You need this." Someone said.

Sesshomaru focused on who was there and found someone he didn't know wearing something he didn't understand and telling him what he couldn't do. He frowned as the nurse took her hand off of his and began writing on her chart again.

"The anesthesia seems to be wearing off well… you're quite feisty." Sesshomaru said nothing. "I see… the quiet type."

No, you imbecile, I have a strange object lodged in my throat. If you would so kindly let me remove it and stuff it down your throat, I think I might be able to speak. he thought angrily at the woman. And how dare this human touch me, the Great Lord Sesshomaru.

"Give me one second and I'll have someone remove that trach tube. Be right back."

She left and Sesshomaru was forced to sit there and deal with the foreign tube in his throat. He hoped someone could get it out of him soon. The room was like nothing he had ever seen before. It was a white he wasn't familiar with and seemed so… clean. He sniffed, smelling a strong odor that was sure to destroy a small yokai back in the Feudal Era. A nurse came in and removed the tube from his throat, allowing him to breathe. He immediately felt sick and the nurse handed him an emesis cup to hurl into.

"You don't have to try so hard, Mr. Dogman."

"What?" he said, looking at her angrily.

"I said you didn't have to try so hard. You're recovering from a very serious surgery… I think it's time to check your wounds as well."

The nurse went to touch him but he smacked her hands away.

"Do not touch this Sesshomaru. Where is the miko?"

"Miko?"

"Yes. I need to speak with her."

"Uh… I don't know what you're talking about."

"The miko that treated me, obviously. I need her now."

"We don't have a miko… the doctor did surgery on you but that's it."

"Doctor? There's no doctor for miles of this village. How could… Where am I?"

"You're in Japan, sir… Do we need to sedate you again?"

"I am perfectly fine as I am. This Sesshomaru does not need your sleeping magic. What I need is the miko that brought me here."

"Oh, you're talking about the Higurashis? They've been waiting for you to recover for a while now. Let me tend to your wound and then I can let them in."

Sesshomaru growled but allowed her to take off his bandages. The nurse frowned and looked at him.

"How is this possible?"

"How is what possible?"

"You had a hole in your chest, practically, and your insides were messed up but now… it looks like you never had a wound at all… What are you?"

"Unhappy." He snarled, looking at her. "I am quite unhappy. If you are finished, woman, please get me the miko."

The nurse snubbed her nose at him and left the room. Sesshomaru looked around in a panic, his fear elevated from unfamiliar territory and his own body betraying his emotions. He hated being a hanyou. He wanted to go back to his normal self, one arm and all. At least he was in control of these silly emotions. The door opened and Kagome walked in.

"Sesshomaru…"

"What have you done to me? Where am I? What is this place? Why was there a human touching me?-"

"Dude, calm down… sheesh. One question at a time."

"I do not want to waste time asking them."

"Stop being such a stick in the mud, Sesshomaru… To answer your questions though, I had to bring you to my world because there wasn't enough knowledge in the Feudal Era to help you. You were dying…"

"This Sesshomaru does not die."

"Well when "this Sesshomaru" had a fist shoved through his chest on the brink of being human and hanyou then yeah, ya do." Kagome said angrily, her hands on her hips. ""This Sesshomaru" should be thankful that this Kagome brought your ass back to my time to save you. You should be grateful." She growled.

Sesshomaru made a face but she was right: he literally owed her his life. He crossed his arms (finding out that was a bad idea) so he just gripped the sides of the bed.

"Thank you."

"What?"

Sesshomaru looked up at her, locking his yellow eyes with hers. "This Sesshomaru thanks you, humbly, for saving me. I am in your debt, miko."

Kagome actually didn't know what to say and turned away, blushing.

"Y- you're welcome… And don't you forget it."

Sesshomaru smiled a little at her flustered nature, smelling her embarrassment. It was almost… cute.

so for clarification, kagome entered his name as Sesshomaru Dogman for the hospital lol
