Following closet behind Beakly, Dewey listened for anything she said. He stood unsettlingly close behind her while she washed dishes. "Dewey, what do you want?" she questioned, noticing him. "Um... nothing," he covered, taking a step back, giving her space. She raised an eyebrow. "Uh huh... can you go do nothing somewhere else?" she asked. "Why don't you go play with Liam and Webby?" she suggested. She spoke Liam's name bitterly.
"How come you don't like him?" Dewey wondered. She seemed taken by surprise. "What do you mean?" she asked. "You act like you don't like Liam," he said. "I- I- I never said I didn't like him. And who are you to speak? It's obvious you don't like him either," she said. Dewey blushed. "I'm not jealous," he grumbled. Beakly smirked. "So that's the problem. Jealous of Webigail, I presume," she said. Dewey crossed his arms. "I'm not jealous," he assured. "Sure. Now I've got to start preparing dinner. I've got to set one extra place for Liam," she said, shooing him away.
Going up to his room, Dewey found Huey and Louie in there. "Hey Dew! Webby just introduced us to Liam. Isn't he great?" Huey said. Dewey shot his brother a look. "Yeah, great," he said. Louie smirked at Dewey. "Yeah, he's like you but, what's the word? Oh right, actually funny," Louie commented. Dewey glared at him. "He's not that funny. And for your information, I'm hilarious," he said, hands on his hips. Louie decided to tease him more. "Ooh, is that the green eyed monster of jealousy I see?" he remarked. Dewey threw his hands up. "Why does everyone think I'm jealous of Liam!" "Because you are."
Dewey jumped on Louie, and the two started wrestling on the ground. Huey rolled his eyes. "Please, Lou, if Dewey were jealous, he would have to have something to be jealous of like-" Huey stopped mid-sentence. "Oh my gosh, you like Webby!" Huey exclaimed, jumping up. After pulling Louie's hood over his face, Dewey laughed at Huey's theory. "What! That's ridiculous!" he covered. Despite being pretty much defeated by his older brother, Louie went on making fun of him. "Dewey and Webby, sitting in a tree!" he sang. Huey joined in. "K-I-S-S-I-N-" Dewey socked Louie in the arm. "Ow! Watch it!" he snapped. Dewey was just happy he got them to shut up.
