"Guestestest"-Your welcome! Tell me if I made Falcon too extreme. And Dandelionstream will tell Oatclaw soon.

Sorry about the delay! Read on!

Chapter 18

Dandelionstream heard a terrible screech inside the cave. She rushed in, only to find Fern and Falcon circling and hissing at each other. Dandelionstream fought her way through the crowd until she found Peachpaw huddled against a cave wall with a white she-cat her age.

"Stay behind me." Dandelionstream commanded, swishing her tail at them. The two cats complied, looking scared.

"It's okay," Dandelionstream assured Peachpaw and the white cat.

Peachpaw spoke up. "This is Angel. She is very nice."

Dandelionstream backed up as Fern and Falcon began fighting in their direction. "I'm sure she is, but move!"

She pushed Peachpaw and Angel further into the cave wall as Fern and Falcon's moved toward them. Fern was winning, fueled by the rage Dandelionstream saw in her eyes. But Falcon was a good fighter, and the fight could go in either direction.

Dandelionstream's thoughts flashed to her mother. Blueheart had never been a good parent to Dandelionsteam or Iceberry, but that was because, just before Dandelionstream was born, Raincloud had died. Raincloud was Blueheart's sister from a younger litter.

It didn't help when Dandelionstream's sister, Palekit, was born dead. A screech brought Dandelionstream back to the present. She narrowed her eyes. Did Fern say something about a murderer?

"Stop!" Dandelionstream cried. "A murderer? What?"

Fern growled. "Falcon killed my kits."

Dandelionstream turned to Falcon. "Is this true?"

Falcon hissed. "They were brats. Feather was going to be a leader when I deserved it. But Leafless would be her successor."

The surrounding cats gasped.

Minty, the leader, stepped forward. "I would banish you, but I know you would come back. So you are now our prisoner."

The cats hissed and growled, most of them wanting Falcon to be killed. Feather and Leafless used to be well-liked cats. Two fighters, Snow and Mud, came forward to escort Falcon away.

"I feel so bad for not believing her." Silver murmured. The surrounding cats nodded. Fern was now being treated for her wounds by a healer named Crow.

"Fern," Minty said in a booming voice. "Cavelands owes you a great debt for uncovering a crime."

The group of cats called themselves 'Caveladers' and the area around them 'Cavelands'. Fern grunted but said nothing else.

Falcon POV

Falcon had always been hated. He got used to it. But Falcon knew he would have made a great leader. But he hadn't wanted to kill Minty, because she had saved his life. Minty had brought Falcon here when she saved him from a fox when he was a kit.

So, he figured the only way to become a leader was to kill her successor-Feather-and kill the most likely successor after her, Leafless. It wasn't his fault they were his former mate's kits. Falcon was not about to be seen with a disfigured mate. He didn't even know if the kits were his or some rogues.

But now Falcon was cursed to live a life of imprisonment and shame.

But I've lost more than that in my lifetime. Falcon reminded himself. I've lost more than Fern even knows.

Falcon knew that anyone would think he didn't have a heart, that he didn't care, but he did. Falcon had once had a sister. They were closer than the hairs on a mouse's name was Panther, and she was kind and cunning, but shy and suspicious.

For those reasons, she did not go join the Cavelanders and forbade Falcon to tell anyone about her. But two seasons ago, she died. Panther had gotten taken away by hawks. Panther had been the only thing keeping Falcon from going overboard, from going evil. And now she was dead.

Every day, Falcon had wanted to wail his grief, to scream in agony. He wanted others to know physical pain, as deep as he felt it emotionally.

One day… He thought ominously

Raincloud's POV (STARCLAN)

Raincloud stared at her dead body. She had fallen over a gorge and had died instantly. Now Rosestream, her best friend that was dead, lead her to Starclan.

Poor Blueheart. She thought sadly. I hope this doesn't affect her parenting.

"I'm so young." Raincloud murmured distractedly.

Rosestream closed her eyes patiently. "I know how it feels, but you must let go. There are cats waiting for you in Starclan."

Raincloud nodded, and the two cats began walking in the air on an invisible path, toward Starclan. When they arrived, Raincloud was met by her friends and family that had joined Starclan before her. Her Mother and Father, Shellheart and Redpelt, both greeted her with joy.

Petalwish let out a cry of joy. "My sister has joined me at last!"

Raincloud's former mentor joined her. "Robinwing!" Raincloud cried.

Robinwing smiled. "I have something to show you."

Robinwing led her to a clearing, where, to Raincloud's surprise, were kits! Many of them. Some, a moon old, others newborn.

"Raincloud, your job in Starclan is to watch over all kits and teach them everything."

I have introduced Raincloud! New subject. For some reason, I haven't watched Avengers Infinity war and End game, but I just did and now I am depressed. My three favorite characters died! My anger will show in my writing.

I am posting chapter 19 because I worked on that while I had no internet
