Prince's POV

"Silias, Sirius... Adeline, what are you all doing here?" Prince questioned in surprise. It was a few days before the ball and Prince had yet to figure out who to take to it, Pete or Blaise. But he was quite surprised when he saw the Greengrass's and Sirius waiting for him in the Great Hall entrance.

"Don't sound too happy to see us, pup." Sirius spoke with a grin and Prince smiled, not quite a true smile but it was there at least. He gave Sirius a hug, next hugging Adeline and Silias.

"I got your letter, Prince. We're just as concerned as you are. We need to talk,"

Voldemort's POV

Lord Marvolo Slytherin was sat in his chair in the manor waiting on a particular arrival from one of his most... pityful followers. I wonder how his son is getting on, being a Werewolf and all in these times must be so... difficult. He thought with a sadistic grin on his face as he heard a knock on his door.

"Enter," He called, trying to stop the smirk on his face as Lucius entered with his wife in tow. The plan... My plan, is rather good even if I came up with it myself. Suffering, from the Mother and their lost child. The lowest form of revenge but one most satisfying. Next time he should think before destroying a horcrux that was never meant to be in the hands of Hogwarts students, let alone an eleven year old Gryffindor. Mistakes are made, yes. But, revenge is served sweet.

"My... My Lord, how can we be of service to you?" Lucius stammered and Tom grinned, too innocently.

"What did I tell you, call me Marvolo. As for what you can do for me... Narcissa," He looked at her, who held her head high as he wondered down to speak to them directly. Ingenious. If I do say so myself.

"Marvolo? What can I help you with?" She questioned confidently. Too confidently. Marvolo smiled.

"You've always wanted a child, have you not?" He smirked when he saw Lucius struggling with himself not to do something while Narcissa was not doing so well. She had tears in her eyes, the pain evident on her face as he spoke.

"Yes, Marvolo. I have always wanted children." She spat out and Marvolo raised an eyebrow. I'll let her speak to me like that for now, but once she's done what I ask... There'll be no more of that.

"See to it. I expect you to be going in labour in nine months time. Close the door on your way out. I have to speak to my dear friend Lucius."

Narcissa stormed out, slamming the door behind her. Lucius flinched, doing his best not to have a go at Lord Slytherin right there and then. Marvolo smiled at the man.

"What news do you have on the tournament?" He questioned and Lucius blinked before answering.

"There's a ball in three days time, Marvolo. The third task is a maze and the champions must find the Goblet which will be a portkey back to the school." Lucius said through his teeth. Marvolo hummed in thought.

"You may go. Oh and Lucius? Crucio"

OoO

Prince didn't know what to feel, or think. Silias had just told him Voldemort was back, stronger than ever. And he was the one who put his name in the Goblet of Fire. How did they know this... Well, apparently somebody despised the Dark Lord so much that he had a traitor in his mists. No one really knew who said traitor was, they covered their tracks well, too well for Prince's liking.

But what was he going to do about -

"Prince?" He looked up and saw Pete, looking worse for wear but Prince smiled, jogging up to him and giving him a hug.

"Pete, I'm so sorry. I want to ask you something," Prince started but Pete put his hands on Prince's lips, shhing him and Prince raised an eyebrow, amusement shone in his eyes.

"Yes, I'll go to the ball with you," Prince grinned, removing Pete's hand to give him another, long needed hug.

"I need to talk to you about the task..." Prince trailed off, he was cut off by a short but passionate kiss from Pete which left Prince blushing like mad.

Though he felt like he should warn Pete about the task... but in that moment, he didn't want to ruin it. He had a few thoughts in his mind but in that particular time, all he could think about was Pete and everything they had done together. Suddenly, Prince had a plan to prank the Headmaster. And they were going to do it Infront of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students just so that they could have a last laugh before it all got serious.

"Pete, I have an idea..." He said with a smirk and Pete raised his eyebrows at Prince. "What do you have in mind?"

Lucy's POV (three days later)

Lucy was jealous. Scratch that. She was pissed off. No... she was hurt. None of her friends had bothered to check up on her, only Cedric and Pete, and obviously Drake. But, she didn't think her fight with Megan would last this long. And it was the night of the ball, she had no one to go with. She'd spend the night alone, with the rest of the younger years... not that she expected anyone to ask her to go. But still. She really wanted to dress up. Seeing Pete and Prince happy again, together but not together, she was also happy but confused. Why didn't she have anyone like that?

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard laughter, students laughing. To her interest, she looked up and her eyes widened with shock. There Dumbledork was, sitting at his place in the Teacher's table... with green hair and ridiculous facepaint. His clothes were bolder than usual tho he still had a smile on his face as he stood up.

"Pranks at this time... are welcome but to the culprits who did this..." His eyes were on the Weasley twins, who stood up and put their hands up in surrender, saying at the same time.

"We couldn't take credit for this piece of artwork, Sir!" Lucy raised an eyebrow, if they didn't do it... she turned to Prince and Pete who were sitting a little further down from her on the Hufflepuff table, looking very smug with themselves.

"As you call it, artwork. We all need the laughter, but will this come off in time of the Yule?" He questioned which had more people laughing, and she swear she heard Pete shout 'Probably not', but it was unrecognisable over the noise. Lucy smiled sadly. At least others were having fun.

She frowned when a paper aeroplane flew next to her and landed by her hand. She took it before anyone would notice and glances to Drake with her eyebrow still raised. He had a strange smile on his face and looked to the aeroplane, asking her to open it. She did so and her eyes widened, with a true smile on her face. Luce, will you do the honour of going to the ball with me? Lucy nodded, making eye contact to Drake, mouthing 'thank you' to him. She didn't care that it would be a surprise to most of her old friends or her family, Draco was there for her the most. She was glad he asked her. Ooh, what dress shall I wear?

A few hours later and she had decided.

It was a beautiful dress, a dark green that showed off her figure in a charming way but not by much. It was flowy but reached just above the knees. Her make up was natural, but she had green eyeshadow to match with her dress and a necklace that her Mother had given her. She smiled sadly. How she wished to see her Mother again.

She stepped down the stairs but managed to bump into Megan and Will, who seemed to be going together. Megan looked lovely, and she was pleased Megan had found someone. But...

"Lucy? You decided to come to the Yule ball?" Will questioned after a moment of awkward silence and Lucy nodded.

"Yes, well. When a close friend asks I couldn't just say no," She spoke with a fake smile as she passed by them. I don't care if they find out I'm friends with Drake. I'm done pretending. It's not like they know the real him. She thought, making her way to the Great hall where she said she'd meet Draco. She didn't expect to see Pete and Prince before him, though. She smiled, almost a true smile as she saw them together. They managed to get past the whole Blaise thing. Perhaps... things will go back to normal? She nodded at them both as she saw them going with the other champions. Lucy looked around for Draco and smiled happily when she saw him walking to her direction. Although she was surprised when Susan came into view before Draco.

"Sue? You look beautiful!" Lucy said with a grin, hugging her sister. Susan chuckled lightly. "So do you, Luce." She spoke softly.

"Ahem," They heard and Luce opened her eyes to see Draco before her in a ver nice suit with the same colour tie as what her dress colour was. Without knowing, Luce blushed lightly as she let go off Susan. "Sorry sis. Can't keep my date waiting," Luce spoke a little nervously, butterflies in her stomach as she called Drake her date. Susan's eyes widened as she looked to Draco who seemed a bit worse for wear but happy all the same. What was Luce doing with Draco? I have to tell the others. Susan thought, watching the pair go off into the hall.

"What do you think she thought?" Draco whispered and Luce shrugged. "I don't know, but be prepared for over protective brothers." She replied back with a light chuckle and Draco rolled his eyes playfully.

"Ah, I see I've got my work cut out. Let's watch the champions dance. We can deal with your family later," He said with one of the only true smiles he had smiled this year. Lucy nodded in agreement.

"Luce! What are you doing with him?" Pete asked in concern after the first dance. The champions dance had been done with and the dance with all the couples but now it was on with rock music and a proper party. But Luce was dragged away from Drake before they could dance to it by Pete, Ed and Prince. Lucy rolled her eyes at the dramatics.

"Well I was dancing, like everyone else until you stopped me. Do you actually finally care about me? Too involved in your own drama to see I've become my own person. I can protect myself, be friends with who I want at my own risk. Now if you three don't mind. I'll be going back to my date," She spoke confidently, not seeing the look of guilt in her eyes at the boys reactions to her words.

"She's right," Prince spoke softly, with a sigh. Ed nodded.

"Of course she is. Family meeting tomorrow? Before your task?" Ed said, looking down. Prince nodded. "Yes. Tell you the times later. Go back to Daph. Tell her I say hi," He said with a smile.

"Tell her yourself," Prince heard and he grinned as he turned around, seeing Daph, Theo and... Blaise. With Pansy. That hurts a little. Pete held his hand tightly and looked towards the dancefloor. Prince nodded before turned to Daph with a smile.

"Watch out, Daph. Ed has two left feet," He winked with a cheeky grin and Ed blushed deeply, wanting to kick Prince but didn't. Daphne laughed lightly.

"Says you. I saw you dancing. By far the worst next to Fleur," She said with a grin. Prince chuckled lightly, he had missed Daph. He thought, casting a longing look at Blaise before being dragged onto the dance floor with Peter.

Daph turned to Blaise with a raised eyebrow. "I'm not the only one who saw that am I?" Blaise sighed deeply and shook his head. He had seen Prince's look too. He was very jealous, they shared a moment... But that seemed to be it. Prince chose Peter over him. Of course he did.

"Blaise, you can do better than Prince," Pansy spoke and Blaise rolled his eyes. Biting his lip. "I can't." He whispered, walking out for some fresh air.

Ed glanced at Daph with slight concern. "Will he be alright?" He questioned and Daphne shrugged sheepishly.

"I have no idea."

Unknown to them, a certain defense Professor was watching the group very intently, but mostly keeping an eye on Prince. Interesting. Marvolo will want to know this. The Malfoy boy with one of the King's has got to be something worth mentioning. And they all seem quite close. I wonder what we can do to change that?

"Blaise?" Prince questioned, joining him outside. He had noticed Blaise wasn't dancing and Prince was curious as to why. He seemed quite unhappy with Pansy which was pleasing him a little. Blaise turned to face Prince and tried to glare. It didn't work.

"Why aren't you with your date?" Blaise asked softly and Prince smiled slightly. "I wanted to check on you. Pete is chatting with his sister," Prince explained.

"Are you just as surprised as the rest of us that Draco and Lucy seem very close and content with each other?" It was Prince's turn to sigh.

"Yes, but I trust Luce." He frowned when Blaise scoffed. "But you don't trust Draco. You know, I'd worry if I were you. Rumour has it there's been family drama with the Malfoy's. No one knows what about, but just be weary. Oh, and you might want to check on Hannah and Susan, unless you want to loose them too." And Blaise went without another word, leaving Prince in deep thought.

He turned to face the dance floor, seeing Luce so happy with Draco. What has she got herself into? I hope she knows what she is doing. He then saw Hannah and Susan dancing together with Ced, Will and Megan. He sighed. It's been so long. They probably are done with me. I wouldn't be surprised.

"You called this meeting to what, question my friendship with Draco?" Luce asked in disbelief and Prince nodded, along with Ed and Pete. Susan seemed quiet but didn't say anything. Luce groaned.

"What we should be worrying about is Prince. It's the final task tonight!" She said running a hand through her long hair. Susan nodded in agreement. Speaking for the first time in a while. "She's got a point, Har. Do you have a plan?" She asked softly and Prince sighed.

"I think so. My invisibility cloak will be on me, just in case. I've been practicing in the duelling room and Silas and Padfoot gave me some information a few days ago which makes sense when you think about it," Prince explained and Luce raised her eyebrows.

"What makes sense?" Luce, Susan and Ed asked at the same time.

"Voldemort is back. He's the reason I'm in the blasted tournament."

A/N - Okay I lied. One more chapter and this year is over. Thank you for your reviews, I didn't get that many but it still helped and I'm happy you're still enjoying the story!
