"so, we are staying home all day tomorrow?" Asked Darma, they were almost back home.
"well, yeah. Unless you want to go out. We can just work on just writing. I'm sure mister scattergood would help when we get back." Bodi said walking by her side.
"well, we can't do much now." Darma looked up, "not without gout."
"Yeah, but at least we can get a rhythm and some words down and see if that sparks anything." He said.
"I guess, we still have a while before going back sleep, you want to do anything?"
"hum." He then started thinking, he then looked up. While looking up he saw how the sky was slowly changing into night, "I guess, just watching the stars." He said.
Darma looked up and saw how the sky was stile light, but it was shifting into night. "I haven't really done that in such a long time, I always look up at night, but never really look." She said.
"When I still lived up at snow mountain. Before I discovered music, I would get a grope of sheep and just lay down and just watch the stars. Should be a great night for it." he looked into the distance, and did not see a cloud in the sky, "a perfect night." He said.
Darma looked up and saw not a cloud in the sky, "yeah, it is."
"well, well, well. Look who decided to finally come back home." Nick said just sitting in the on the porch.
"well, it's late and dinner is going to sneak up on us if we didn't come back now." She said.
"Plus, we've done everything we could today. After lunch, we just walked around a bit more." Bodi said.
"oh, so your dates over?" Nick said.
Darma was about to say something. "well, were going to watch the stars in a while." Bodi said interrupting Darma.
"oh, so into the night I see." He said, "then you should find a good spot. Who knows if the rest of the family might want in on that." Nick said and then pulled out a book and started reading.
"We should, and before Dinner, we can do some meditation if you're up for it?" asked Bodi.
Darma thought about it, "you know what, we should. I was starting to enjoy it for that small time before we had to go in. let's do it."
Half an hour later.
Bodi and Darma were face to face, each meditating in their own way. Bodi was controlling his inner fire, and Darma was discovering her fire. They breathe in and breathe out. They have not said anything since they started. They may not have said anything, but they did enjoy their time together, that was until.
"hum?" said someone they were not ready for, right next to them.
"AH!" they said losing their balance. when they saw who it was, it was Karma. "KARMA!" Darma said.
"Sorry, I just come to tell you that Dinner is ready. Then I saw you two just sitting there thinking you were looking into each other's eyes, but you were just sitting there."
Bodi just tilted his head then looked back at Darma, 'she does have some really pretty brown eyes.' He thought.
"well thank you for telling us Dinners ready, come on Bodi." She said getting up, but she didn't hear Bodi trying to get up. "Bodi?" she said turning around. when she did, she looked right at Bodi's eyes, she then sees Bodi blink and shakes his head then stars getting up.
"Sorry, lost in thought." He said slightly blushing, nothing noticeable.
"right." She said and extended her paw to him to help him get up.
"Thanks." He said taking it and gets up and then walked to the house.
"AW, you two are just so adorable together." Karma said and then hugged both of them.
"Karma!" Darma said.
"it's true, you just look so precious." She said tightening her grip. Of course, as they were walking like this they made it inside and just walked right up to the table.
"ok Karma that enough. Time to eat." Darma said breaking free from her sister, but Bodi didn't have to same luck, Karma was hugging him around the neck cutting off air circulation, "ok, Karma. That enough, he needs to breathe." She said seeing Bodi patting Karma's arm repeatedly.
"hum?" she said and then saw Bodi turning blue, "oh sorry." She said letting him go. He fell to the ground on his paws and knees breathing in and out.
"I'm good, I'm good." he said. he then got up and looked around, "so what do we have to eat today?" he asked like nothing happened.
After Dinner with Darma and Bodi outside on a blanket looking up as the night sky.
"I've noticed that that star is always in the same spot while the other movie around." Bodi said.
"yeah, it the north star, it always points north." Darma said.
"it's also called Polaris, it's part of the big dipper and Ursa minor constellation." Larma said.
"AAAHHH!" they said seeing Larma as well in the blanket.
"told you some might want to join in." Nick said.
"AAAHHH!"
"Tonight is a good night for it." Karma said.
"let me guess, Gideon is here too?" Darma asked.
"over here." He said.
"anyone else." But nothing. "ok." She said.
"hey, its ok if others wanted to join." He said still looking up." Then saw a shooting star. "hey look, a falling star!" he said.
"it's a shooting star. And they're not really stars, just small asteroids burning up in our atmosphere." Larma said.
"oh, shut it, and make a wish."
"wish?" asked Bodi.
"yeah, I mean, nothing will happen, but it's something everyone dose. Just made a wish to yourself, just don't let anyone hear it." Darma said.
'a wish?' Bodi thought, he said staring into the sky. He then felt a burning sensation on his paw, not from his inner flame, be knows the sensation from before, he then felt his face heat up a little. 'wishing to be with Darma.' Bodi thought and thought laughed, 'there's nothing I really need to wish for, I have everything I could ever wish for.' He thought.
"so, did you make a wish?" Darma asked.
Bodi just smiled, "yeah."
"oh, was it to spend the rest of your life with Darma." Karma said.
"KARMA!" she sat up and turned to her.
"well, it would make sense. Seeing as how you two are whenever anyone sees you." Nick said.
"NICK!"
"I would have guessed to be able to reproduce." Larma said, "seeing as there has never been a successful offspring from a dog and fox relationship before."
"LARMA!"
"talking about pups gross." Gideon said making a face.
"GIDEON!"
"you say grows now, but once you get older, you might be singing another tune with that bunny of yours, in more ways than one. But will you making boxes or a funnies" Nick laughed.
"NICK/ COUSIN NICK!" Gideon and Darma yelled.
"what's wrong with Bunnies?" Bodi said. "and what does it have to do with pups?" he then sat up too.
"BODI!"
"oh, would you look at the time." Karma said.
"oh yeah, it's getting late." Larma said.
"I got to go to sleep, goodnight." Gideon said. and with that, the three left as to not have to talk about the subject.
Bodi and Darma just looked at Nick thinking he would say something to go back inside.
Nick noticed it, "yeah." He just said then just walk away. "don't take too long."
That's just left Bodi and Darma sitting in the blanket, then there was an awkward, more so for Darma. "so, what wrong with bunnies?"
"oh boy." she said turning away.
Well there you have it, sorry I'm so slow in updating this, it not that I lost interest in writing this story, it's just that I'm running out of ideas as to what to write. I might just have to wrap this fic up soon.
