Note: This chapter is not an official Chapter of the Battle of Alrest State Park story arc, but more of a side Chapter.

Chapter 19: Discovery (Reprise)

"Goddamnit, Pyra! We can't just stay here while our friends fight!" A clearly pissed Mythra yelled at her sister.

Pyra rolled her eyes. " with that foot, you aren't going anywhere. "

The two were currently in their house, arguing about whether they should go to the fight or not.

"Those are our friends, Pyra! We can't just forget them!" Mythra argued.

Pyra sighed. " I understand that you want to help, but you just can't fight since that bastard Jin broke your foot. "

Mythra, remembering that incident, growled, "That son of a bitch. I'm gonna kill him for doing that."

Mythra turned back to Pyra. "C'mon, Pyra! At least let me go watch the outcome!"

Pyra actually thought about that. Klaus would kill me if I let her go. Pyra thought, thinking of their stepfather, Klaus. But what the hell.

"Fine." Pyra said. " but only for watching. "

Mythra nodded. It wasn't that hard to win in an argument against Pyra.

It actually took them a while to get to the park, Mythra having a broken foot. Finally, they made it to the park.

Mythra scratched the back of her head. "So where is this gonna be again?"

" I heard it was going to be at the World Tree. " Pyra said.

Mythra groaned. "Shit. Of course it's on the other side of the park."

After a little while longer of walking. Pyra pointed to the World Tree. "There they are! Look!"

Indeed, at the World Tree, two groups of teens were fighting it out.

"C'mon, let's get closer!" Mythra said.

They got closer, and we're able to see most of the battle. It seemed that Rex and Nia were fighting on the side of the Loser's Club. Seeing Rex made Pyra frown. She hadn't forgotten what he had said.

Throughout the battle, it was obvious that the Losers were losing. Eventually, it seemed that Jin was overcoming Rex. And then, Nia ran in and knocked Jin backward. SUddenly, Jin took out a small knife and said something to Nia and Rex, but from their distance Mythra and Pyra couldn't hear it.

Then, Jin actually threw the knife at Nia. But both Pyra and Mythra's breath stopped when Rex jumped in front of Nia and the blade landed in his chest. Both girls froze. Then, Rex collapsed and Nia sat beside him. After a few moments, both girls knew they needed to do something. Anything.
