"Tsuna...what are you doing, I thought you said you were coming to my room?" Natsume asked as she leaned over the top of the couch and gave her brother, who had been sleeping, a sad look. "Were you sleeping?"

"No...I was...just here, with my eyes closed..." Tsuna muttered, earning a quiet snort from his sister.

"Well are you coming or not?"

"I'm wrapped up in this blanket, I'm so warm, I don't want too."

The pair stared at each other, Natsume's gaze going over to the phone in her brother's hand, and all she did was raise her brows, lips pursing as she shrugged, "Alright then, stay here, by yourself."

"What are you going to do?"

"I'm getting ice cream."

Tsuna watched as his sister straightened up and headed to the kitchen, her arms crossed behind her head as she hummed a merry little tune. He looked at his phone, brow furrowing as he got up to follow her, "Tsume it's 3 in the morning."

"Never too late for ice cream!" There was a soft whoops as his sister realized how loud she had said that. "Anyways, I thought you didn't want to get up."

"...I lied..."

"Are you getting ice cream too?"

"No...but a snack does sound nice."

A door opened and they both got quiet, staring at each other as they listened for any footsteps, but the door just closed again, "It's the ghost," Natsume murmured, opening up the refrigerator and looking through for anything else she could snack on. "Oh, there's cheesecake too!"

"You're stomachs going to hurt in the morning," Tsuna told her as he reached above the fridge and got a box of cereal.

"Then I will suffer and be happy."

The door opened again, their mother's soft sleepy voice carrying through to them, "Will you two please be quiet?"

"Sorry mama," They both said and they waited for the door to close before they started talking again.

"Shh Tsuna," she whispered, nudging her brother who nearly dropped the milk he had taken out as she opened the lower half and reached for her ice cream. Tsuna instead of saying anything, bonked her on the head with the milk. "You little shit."

"Me? Me? I'm the little shit?" Tsuna pointed her finger at her, "You woke me up and now you've gone and woke mama up, but I'm the little shit."

Natsume pursed her lips, brows raising, "If you say so."

Instead of gapping at her like he wanted too (and throwing his spoon at her) Tsuna just finished serving himself and put everything away, not at all surprised at the amount of ice cream his sister served herself. He lightly kicked the back of her knee when she began to leave, almost making her lose her balance, instead she just let herself fall forward, floating on as she turned to flip him the bird.

"You're a little shit," she mouthed, her feet lightly pressing against the stairs as they went up. "Wait my room or your room?"

"Did you want to watch a movie?"

"Your room then," she said, still floating as she just phased through the door, not at all bothering to open it for him.

"I hate you," he grumbled as he opened the door, glad that Reborn wasn't there for the night, having gone off to deal with the purple baby on the motorcycle.

"So mean~" she said in a high voice, drawing out the mean and doing a weird vibrato while bringing her pitch down.

"Why are you so weird?" he asked as he sat on the floor, placing his bowl on the table, while she sniffed and sat on his bed, letting her bowl float as she brought his blankets over her shoulders.

"I make things fun."

Tsuna rolled his eyes as he reached for the remote and turned on the TV, "What do you want to watch?"

"Stitch has a Glitch," she said through a mouthful of ice cream.

Already how this was going to go, Tsuna put on the movie they had downloaded months ago, remembering that Natsume had cried at the end and knowing that it was just going to be a repeat. He looked over at her at some point, Natsume having drawn the blankets over her head and watching the movie intently. Tsuna couldn't help but smile as he leaned forward, resting his arms against the table and laying his head on top of them.

Moments like these took his thoughts away from everything that had happened and he was glad for it.

He woke to the quiet sniffling and only got up to throw himself on top of his sister, "He lives, why are you crying?"

"I'm crying from relief you - ack," Tsuna had splayed himself on top of her, the sudden weight on her chest cutting her off. "Hey...you, get off me you fatass."

"I...am in shape, unlike someone I know."

There was a pause and then a gasp, "The fucking audacity coming from a damned twig!"

"Oi I thought I was fat?"

He tried not to yell as his sister used her stupid strength to flip them over, her arms wrapping around his neck, legs tightenign around his to keep him down, "No Natsume, stop!"

He may have messed up.

He should have just ignored her and kept sleeping downstairs.

Author Note:

This was extremely self indulgent and I was inspired by what just happened to my sister and I. And yes, I am the one getting ice cream at 3am, but instead of getting quieted down just for talking, my sister and I were talking about our OCs and got a little too excited and loud.

Anyways,

hope you're all doing fine!

Enjoy!
