Recovery: The Silent Enemy
Chapter 23rd
Doctor Taft was right about contrast people in and out of his ICU. Special Agent Gibbs was annoyed unable to get a proper night sleep. The night attendant tried talking to his patient to try and calm down. He didn't need his patient's heart rate and blood pressure to rise and cause further issues.
Agent Gibbs tried to relax with turning on the tv to see that there were movies he was able to watch drifting off at times. The pain levels wasn't bad since he was given another dose of the pain medications with his stomach wound.
Finally he had fallen asleep only to be waken by the sight of his wife given the permission to come and visit him with orders from Doctor Taft. She had been released from the hospital earlier and she was able to use the wheel chair for now until she was ready to leave.
"A sight for sore eyes Loreile. I haven't been able to sleep a proper few minutes in this hell hole." He stated with a crooked smile on his face as he grabs the remote to sit up further with the hospital bed.
Loreile chuckled slightly knowing that she knew that he was having a hard time with being stuck in the hospital bed. She had gotten up from the wheel chair to kiss her husband on his lips that was really chapped.
"I spoke with Taft earlier, he will be in soon to check you over. He just might decide Jethro to send you home to be monitor there at the house. How does that sound to your ears?" She sits back down in the wheel chair.
"It sounds wonderful to me. No doubt my team is going to be happy once they hear the possible good news." Gibbs would say with pride in his voice.
"From what I understand they are currently busy with two cases involving the shootings of two marines down by the harbor on a party boat. I don't know anything else at this time until McGee checks in with me or Vance." She smiled slightly.
"How are you feeling?" Gibbs had to asked concern for his wife and the unborn child. The both of them had been through a great deal of late.
"I am fine, other than the fact I am starved. This baby is really hungry in general. I am going to leave to head downstairs to eat before I wind up getting dizzy." She moves up from the wheel chair to kiss him again only this time more forceful. Gibbs was enjoying himself among other things happening to his body and Loreile knew it as well.
"Are you coming back Loreile?" He smirked.
"Of course! Along with trying to take care of your friend down below if possible!" She chuckled slightly along with Gibbs knowing very well he needed the relief.
She gets back into the wheel chair to leave even though she would get out of it again leaving it at the nurses station. She would be able to walk on her own heading downstairs. Inside the elevator was of all people Doctor Cyril Taft. He gets out holding the door for a moment to speak with her.
She was happy to hear that he has changed his mind. He was going to send her husband home in a couple of hours after taking another test to check his stomach wound. It was only going to take a few minutes with the test in the lab.
"Thanks Doc! My husband is going to love it going home to really relax." She said with a slight smirk building on her face.
"In a pig's eye!" Taft remarked before letting go of the door to have her head downstairs.

Loreile closed the shades so that no one was able to see what she plans on doing. Her husband had a smirk on his face knowing full well what was coming. He was already excited down below, even though he didn't know on whether he was able to take it with his wound.
She came over to kiss him with passion. "Let's just hope that no one will come in during the next few moments."
"I just can't believe you're really doing this Loreile?" Gibbs says with watching the double doors for anyone heading into his room.
"Of course I am baby, I suggest you try to enjoy the feeling with my hand rubbing you." She went to work with her right hand moving under the thin blanket and hospital gown.
He was already hard in spite the fact he was injured in a car crash. She didn't know she was going to leave in this dire situation without the used of her mouth. He started to make all types of noises thinking that she might be hurting him. "Jesus Loreile! You're killing me." He cried out softly...However she wasn't able to continued when she saw someone coming towards his room.
The both of them were disappointed having to left in this condition. It was Doctor Wilson to tell him that he was going home within the hour with his paperwork having been processed. Gibbs had a smirk on his face telling his wife that it was great news for him and having to start again with relieving him in a big way.
It was an hour later when Doctor Taft to let them know that Gibbs was free to leave with a wheel chair to take him down to the main entrance.
"Gibbs, I am glad your doing just fine. I suggest you call me on whether or not the pain medications is not enough while you're home. I will be the judge for when you're able to go back to NCIS. Director Leon Vance knows that you're heading home from the hospital." Doctor Taft would say to have Gibbs not saying a word.
"Thanks Doc!" Loreile said anxious to leave the hospital for her reasons only.
