[Before Nicole can do anything, the animal control officers burst through the bedroom door. Nicole feels that something is getting triggered inside her. She jumps towards the opposite wall of the room and gets cornered by the officers. They violently chain her up and one of them locks her jaws in a muzzle. She angrily tries to release herself, but the five men are too strong for her at the moment.]
Richard: Honey! What is happening?!
Nicole: I- I don't know!
[One of the officers steps towards Richard and Nicole hears a muffled conversation of him explaining to Richard and informing him about the murder. Richard stands still while the officer returns to Nicole. He silently stares at his wife, terrified and with tears in his eyes. Nicole looks him in the eye and feels even more horrible... She let him down... She only got him into trouble... Anger rises, while her claws unsheathe. She snarls and violently digs deep slits into the arm of one of the officers. As consequence, plastic covers get pulled over her claws and she powerlessly lets herself fall onto her knees. This is it... The moment she feared most... She never thought that it would come to this... What is gonna happen to her?]
[The officers take Nicole with them and as she walks past Richard, they look each other in the eye another time. Nicole, all chained up and treated like a wild animal, gets tears in her eyes. But Richard couldn't take it anymore, as he looks away. He closes the front door without saying anything when the officers locked Nicole up in a cage. The van which the cage is inside of starts moving and Nicole watches the house getting further away from her as she holds the metal bars with her paws.]
[Trauma, tears, fear and shock are the only emotions the kids feel when Richard told them about what happened. They sure are terrified, but are all in agreement that it wasn't Nicole's fault. Anais grabs a printed article and reads it with an angry frown. It all was brought to this extreme level by that sabotaged C.U.B.-core. While Richard and the brothers sob in fear and grief, Anais bravely starts a research about the C.U.B.-thing. She quickly types on her laptop, full of courage and will to save her mother...]
[Nicole wakes up after she passed out during the van trip. She looks around and realizes she's inside a dark cell, separated from other cells which are at the end of the corridor. She tries moving around, but her neck is chained to the wall. Not again, she thinks. Sharp edges of the muzzle stab her cheeks, as it's wrapped around her jaws way too tight. But her limbs were fortunately free. She then sees the paperwork in front of her; a newspaper with her murder on the headline, a pink slip that indicates she's once again fired from her job and a tag. She carefully walks closer, avoiding getting chocked by the ironwork and inspects the tag. Her eyes widen when she reads it. She's officially been classified more animal than citizen of Elmore. Did Elmore lose their mind? Was it because she ate someone's pet fishes? Everyone knows now..., she restlessly thinks. I... have become a beast... She suddenly hears the sound of a heavy door closing and Brandon appears in front of her cell with Kayla by his side. Nicole angrily rips off her Sca-BI-badge and breaks it with her bare paws.]
Brandon: Well, well, well. Look who we got here.
[Nicole's ears lower and she furiously bares her teeth.]
Brandon: I see my plan worked brilliantly.
[He hands over a stack of money to Kayla and she immediately packs it away. Brandon gets closer to the cell bars and Nicole tries to charge for him, but gets stopped by the chain on her neck. She curls her paws around the bars instead while angrily staring him in the eye, growling viciously.]
Nicole: You... You did this to me! What did I expect?!
Brandon: How does it feel to be locked up, huh?!
Nicole: You deserved it, because you tried to kill me, bastard!
Brandon: Well, you've actually killed someone, didn't you! Someone completely innocent!
[Brandon points at Kayla, who tries to hide her tears. He then gets closer until his and Nicole's faces are only a few inches away from each other.]
Brandon: You're gonna stay here with all other nasty beasts, where you belong.
[Nicole tries to bite him, but still can't get any closer by the chain. Brandon pulls a small bag out of his pocket and reveals the C.U.B.-core. Nicole gasps and she hears the high sound again. She covers her ears with her paws and falls to the floor while her body starts to tremble again.]
Brandon: I'm gonna break you, Watterson. But this time for real.
[Brandon ties the C.U.B.-core to one of the cell bars and pushes a button that makes the ceiling open up, only to reveal a big arena filled with cheering criminals. They all are on the run from the police and have this abandoned place as their hiding spot. A platform underneath Nicole's cell starts rising up, bringing her to the middle of the arena.]
Brandon: Come, Kayla. This is gonna be entertaining!
[Brandon closes the door and joins the upper row in the arena. Meanwhile, Nicole starts to lose control again and mentally drowns in her monstrosity. But this time the pain is worse than ever. The muzzle around her jaw breaks by the power of her teeth elongating, her clothing rips heavily and exposes her wilder fur than ever. She grunts and yells into the air while she holds her head tightly. She feels like her skull is about to burst. She then raises her head up high and lets out a terrifying roar, which only lowers its pitch even more. The beast, taken the place of Nicole, manages to free herself from the chain. She then charges straight for the entrance of the cell and bursts through its bars without any problem. She shakes off the broken iron and gets on all fours. She runs around, trying to find Brandon. He, being high up in the crowd, snaps his fingers and gives one of his gang members a sign. The member pushes another button and this time, a large gate opens up. Two big foxes reveal themselves, which were made vicious by torture...]
