Alice. Syfy story.

Alice and Lindsey

Chapter nineteen: Escape!

(Lindsey pov.)

Right as we got off the elevator, two guards were waiting up there. While Hatter took care of one, Charlie...more like Alice, took care of the other one.

I stood by till I saw Hatter pinned down. I took off in a quick sprint and jumped on the back of the other guard.

Swinging my body around to flip the guy over till Hatter got up and could punch his lights out.

Charlie "knocked out" the other one and we needed a way off this roof and away from this place.

"Now what?" Alice asked.

"We get on those." Hatter said.

"Now this is what I'm talking about." I smiled getting on one right away. Charlie had the same idea but he was more curious about it.

"These things fly?"

"We don't have any other choice. Alice, just get on." Hatter said.

One look over the edge... "I'm not getting on that thing!" She said.

"Alice. Get. On." I said to her clearly.

She stared at me but Hatter was the one to talk her into it.

I ignored most of the conversation till Charlie screaming snapped me back to the attention around me. As Hatter and Alice took off I was right behind them. I didn't stay too close to them, fear of being shot down, but that didn't seem to worry the others.

And it didn't matter. After a few minutes, they were hot on our behinds, and Charlie went down first. I dove down closer to the water and was ready to jump in. I waited till Hatter and Alice got shot first and watched them crash in the lake. I dove in after them and held my breath for as long as I could while swimming in what I hoped was shore.

(Jack pov.)

I sat on my bed still regaining my sanity after Duchess gave me sips of honesty. I was able to fight it well off, but it still made me woozy. I stood up and went to my window, where I saw three flying flamingo's.

"A knight?" I scoffed. They were all gone so it couldn't be real.

But then, "Alice?" I saw her and then Lindsey and I knew it was time to get out. My plan had to get going. It was the only way to save wonderland.

A knock came and it was Chris. "Chris. Just the lovely person I wanted to see."

"What? Never mind. Alice and Lindsey are gone. We need to get out of here, now or never." She said.

"Right. I think I still have that other bottle in here, somewhere." I told her.

"Still a little under? Well, here. If you try this is may help." She handed me a bottle.

"What is it?"

"Water." She said.

"Thank you. You are the best friend anyone could have." I told her.

"You really are messed up."

"I mean that." I said as she walked out the door. She paused with her back to me. If I told her the truth, she wouldn't believe me. So, it didn't matter if I was still under "honesty" she has her own way of believing in someone. At least she believed in me when we took the ring out of wonderland.

"I'm sure. Just drink the water and take that potion. Fast. Before my sister comes back. I'll be waiting in the stable." She said. And she was gone.

I drank the water and cleared up. It was time to play dead and escape. "I do mean it Ana." I whispered to myself. Maybe I did care for her, but the only thing was, did it over take my feelings for Alice? Not possible.

(Lindsey pov.)

When I came up for air, they were all gone.

I saw Hatter and Alice swimming just little ways away from me and followed them as fast as I could.

"Hey!" I shouted to them. I couldn't swim for too long. I felt my body starting to weaken, I went under again before a hand pulled me up.

Gasping, Alice smiled and she helped me swim all the way back to shore.

At least this time, I didn't need someone to give me air.

"Where is Charlie?" Hatter asked as we walked onto the beach.

"Wet again!" I grumbled.

"Come on. We can't stay here."

"We should look for Charlie." Alice said.

"Yeah. Let's go." Hatter said.

I couldn't feel my body moving, but Hatter helped me up and let me on his back. "Thank you." I whispered to him before passing out of exhaustion.
