Chapter 21: Ash's Call
Trenor and Chole are now arrived at the Sinnoh Region, where they are heading to the Iron Island. They meet up with Minami, who is riding her Rapidash.
"Minami, how are the gems?" Chole asks.
"Great, I got the Normal and the Psychic one, I am heading towards the Galar Region." Minami says. Just then, Alain also arrives and Trenor asks, "What are you doing here?"
Before Alain can say, Minami says, "Stuff happened, and now he is kinda my partner."
This causes the two of them to be in a state of surprise. Chole says, "Your partner? But you hated humans!"
"I know, but he kinda follows me everywhere I go and I can't shake him off." Minami sighs. "Apparently, he feels guilty about his actions and he wants to redeem himself by helping me."
"Is that's so." Trenor says as he turns to Alain, "You are lucky that you meet me, if you meet Mark, I am sure that your head won't be on your neck."
"I can tell." Alain says. "I remember you are Professor Cerise's daughter, Chole, right? You are still alive?"
Chole says, "I have been reborn thanks to Ash, my family also. "
Minami asks, "What about you, Trenor? You got the Ground and Rock Gem?"
"Yeah, but I am not lucky, since we have been chased by those murderers from Kalos to Kanto. They almost petrified Squishy and also they tried to capture Fossil Pokemon in the Grandpa Canyon for their own greed."
"I met them when I tried to get my first gem, they also shot me and that is why you see the scar on my hand." Minami shows them the scar and she says, "That is why we need to eliminate all humans."
"I agree. As for Alain, why don't you ask Ash about letting him join in the Team Alpha?" Trenor asks.
"I doubt he would agree." Minami mutters as she calls him, just then, Ash answers the phone and says, "Minami, what's wrong?"
"Brother, I have some news for you. Apparently, the cheater of the Kalos League wanted to join in Team Alpha."
"You mean Alain? Why will he want to do that?" Ash asks. "He didn't hurt you?"
"No, instead, he helped me when I was being injured by those murderers." Minami asks. "What are you going to do about it?"
Ash thinks for a second and says, "Let me talk to him."
Minami then tells Alain to answer the call, what Ash is saying is the sins that he did for helping Team Flare, and Alain is feeling ashamed. Ash says, "Even all that happened, you still wanted to join in our group. I can say that you are impressive to think of that."
"So does that mean..." Alain asks.
"Right now you keep helping Minami for now, but that doesn't mean I'll forgive you. It is because of you that I was almost being controlled by Lysandre, I could win the Kalos League, not that rapist Calem."
Alain nods and then Ash talks to Minami, Minami asks, "What about Serena, did she do something bad to you?"
"No, but there is a strange thing, when we are at Hoenn, our auras were combined and we somehow has a seven-year-old daughter Saphira."
"What? A Daughter?" This causes all of them to be surprised. Then they hear a voice, "Papa, who are you talking to?"
Ash turns to Saphira and says, "I am talking to Aunt Minami and Uncle Trenor. Why don't you keep playing with Serena for a while."
"Yes, Papa." Ash turns back to the phone and says, "As you can see, she somehow knows all of us and she is also a Pokemon like us."
"So it is not Time Travel?" Trenor asks.
"Mark asked the same thing, and I had asked Celebi or Dialga, they confirmed that it is impossible." Ash says. "Anyways, right now Golly and Insey are the only ones that still don't know about this. So I will need your help after we got three gems each."
Then they end the call and Trenor says, "Weird, somehow we are uncle and aunt."
Minami says, "Yeah...by the way, we are going to Galar to see if we can find Golly. We'll see you later." Minami says as she and Alain ride off.
Trenor and Chole are now at the Iron Island after walking west, Chole says, "So this is the famous Iron Island, where all the Steel Type Pokemon train with their bodies?"
"Yeah, a sad story is that Team Galactic tried to open the Iron Ruins and it causes the Steel Type Pokemon to be in berserk. Another reason for why Brother hated humans."
"I agree." Chole says as they walk underground. There they find the Steel Gem at the third basement with the pedastol on it. As Chole is about to grab it, a Lucario appears and it is blocking the gem.
"What are you doing with this Gem?" They see a man walking towards the Lucario, and Trenor says, "You must be Riley, an Aura User, right?"
"Who are you and how do you know me?" Then they see their outfits and he says, "You are Team Alpha. You controlled the Legendaries to wreck havoc on this world."
Trenor says, "I think you are misunderstanding, Mr. Riley. We didn't control Legendaries, instead, we are Legendary Pokemon that disguise as humans. As you can see, with humans abusing our powers for their own greed, us Legendaries decide to give a judgement to the humans."
"How do we know you are telling the truth? We couldn't read your auras." Riley asks.
They show them the powers by using Hyper Beam, and they lower their guards. Trenor says, "Mr. Riley, the reason we are here is that we need to get the Steel Gem."
"The Steel Gem, you mean this gem that fuels the energy of this Iron Island? Why do you want this?" Riley asks.
"According to the scrolls in the Hall of Origins, one who gathers all 18 gems can fulfill wishes. And we need to get it for my brother Ash's sake."
"So you are Ash's brother. Very well. Lucario, give them the gem." Lucario nods and he gives the gem to the two of them. Who thanks him with appreciation.
"But beware of it, I heard that there are some consequences for activating all 18 gems. For what reason I don't know." Riley says as he and Lucario walk into the shadows again.
Chole says, "We will be careful about it." Then they all head outside of the cave and go back to their base.
Now the last part of Trenor and Chole's group is here. And also Ash agrees to let Alain join the Team Alpha, but the problem is will he forgive him?
