Sam had taken Jack's hand as he helped her out of the truck just in case. He had put his hand at the small of her back and allowed her to grab her keys and walk through the front door. Although the situation wasn't ideal, Sam was glad that Jack was with her. The infirmary was the last place she wanted to be. She felt a little dizzy and exhausted.

"Why don't you lay down and take a nap." Jack offered.

Sam wasn't offended but gave him a look.

"Look, Sam, you didn't get any sleep last night and passing out for the 45 minutes it took to get you back here doesn't count," Jack claimed.

Sam sighed.

"I am rather tired," Sam admitted.

"Should I call Janet? I don't know if you've ever admitted you were tired," Jack stated.

Sam slapped at him and walked towards her bedroom. Jack let her get more comfortable.

"You coming?" Sam called.

Jack looked at her.

"Come on, Jack, come to bed," Sam asked.

Jack had to admit a nap with Sam sounded pretty good, so he nodded.

"your stuff is in the bottom drawer in the guest room mixed in with Daniels," Sam claimed.

Jack nodded. He got out of his jeans but kept the t-shirt he was wearing and found a pair of shorts. He slid them on and went back to Sam's room. She was waiting on him, he slid in beside her, and she wordlessly nudged him wanting him to turn over, putting her arm around him.

"You don't have to be so pushy," Jack claimed and turned to allow Sam to put her arm around his chest. She was quickly asleep.

Michelle was analyzing the plants that seemed to use bio-luminescence, just like some creatures on earth. Michelle attributed it to the distance of the suns and continued with her research writing notes and giving thoughts about her initial findings. The plants were indeed beautiful, and she hoped to keep them alive a while to see how they respond to different stimuli.

Daniel was going over all his notes and pictures Teal'c was helping him and told him to stay off his feet for the next few days while he too recovered from the "overexposure to Naqudah," as Dr. Janet Fraiser had called it.

Daniel was going over a few of the photos and asking Teal'c if that meant what he thought.

When Teal'c confirmed it had, Daniel figured out which theory of Sam's was right. It was a volcano blast, so the core of the planet could be completely Naqudah, which meant that the planet gave off a lot more heat than the earth, and maybe that's why it could sustain life with the suns so far away. It may help Michelle in her study, as well.

Daniel typed up his report of his findings of his report.

General Hammond had stayed late that night, working on some paperwork, when an unscheduled off-world activation came through the IDC said it was Tokra, and General Hammond had them open the iris.

Jacob came through the gate.

Surprised that none of SG-1 was there to greet him.

"George." Jacob greeted, still looking around.

"Surprisingly, they aren't here right now, Jacob." General Hammond stated.

Jacob smiled

"Out on a mission?" Jacob asked.

"No, there was a bit of trouble on the last mission, but not to worry, she's fine." General Hammond explained.

Jacob frowned.

"I promise you she is fine, she's at home." General Hammond claimed.

"All I heard was there was good news, but now I come, and it is bad," Jacob claimed.

"She's fine, Jacob, why don't you head over to her place, I'll get a car for you. She can tell you herself." General Hammond claimed.

Jacob eyed him a second.

"Alright," Jacob stated.

Jacob had his own locker way in the back and put on some street clothes. It felt weird after wearing the Tokra robes for so long.

He was met by an airman, he had given Sam's address and got to her home a little after 7 pm. He noticed the truck in the driveway but didn't overthink it. He recognized it as Jack's truck and figured that he was checking in on Sam, considering George told him there had been some trouble.

He knocked on the door and waited.

Sam heard the knocking and had woken up. Jack was still next to her. She jumped, but Jack was quicker.

"It's probably Danny just checking up on you," Jack stated.

"He worries." They both say at the same time.

Jack heads to the door, he's trying to tame his hair. Sam is behind him. She's very thirsty and looks at her watch, "Holy, Hannah!" She said as she looked at the time.

Jack answered the door, and Jacob scowled, confused as too why both had seemed to just be in bed, and he was confused why Jack would be answering her door.

Jacob looked to Jack and then Sam and back to Jack and to Sam, who had seemed to have a dark blush on her cheeks, and then she finally said, "Dad!"

He still scowled for a minute.

"Sammy, Jack!" He bit.

"Well, I'm going to go, Carter, your dad's here, and you look like your feeling better," Jack stated.

"No, you don't." Jacob stated as Sam pulled Jack back and also said, "Nope, you're not leaving me here like this." Sam claimed.

"George said I should hear it from you the good news. Then he said there had been an accident. Then, I come here and see you've been sleeping with your commanding officer. What the Hell is going on, Sam?" Jacob asked.

Sam still didn't feel great, and her dad hadn't made her feel much better despite the fact she had done nothing wrong.

Jack looked at Sam and saw how pale she was.

"Hey, Sam, why don't we get you some water and something to eat," Jack said calmly.

"Please, Jacob, I'm not trying to change the subject, but there was a slight complication with this last mission," Jack admitted.

Jacob relaxed slightly and nodded his head.

Sam and Jacob sat at the table, and Jack went through 3 cupboards before finding Sam's cups and filled it with a glass of water, and then went through the fridge trying to find something eatable.

He grabbed an apple and picked a drawer finding a knife, and sliced the apple for her.

She looked at him like he was half crazy.

"What, it's an apple you're supposed to cut it," Jack claimed.

Sam rolled her eyes, and Jack gave it to her on a small plate.

"We were on a mission, with a planet of unheard-of Naquadah levels. The sensation of their presence overwhelmed me, and I passed out." Sam claimed.

"T didn't fair to well either," Jack claimed.

"The levels were the highest we've ever seen. Janet wants me first thing in the morning. My blood chemistry was out of wack but was already stabilizing a few hours after we got back." Sam claimed.

Jacob just stared at the two of them for a long time.

"Janet told me I couldn't come home alone, so Jack came with me," Sam claimed.

"And the two of you slept together," Jacob stated.

"Sleeping was all we did." Jack sighed.

Sam's eyes got huge.

"I didn't mean anything by it, Sam," Jack claimed and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Sam, I don't know how this is good news, I mean, I know you too care for each other, but a commanding officer and George obviously knows, and this is the good news," Jacob asked.

"He's no longer my commanding officer," Sam said coolly.

"You finally decide to retire?" Jacob asked, smiling.

"Not exactly," Jack stated.

"Oh, don't tell me you got in trouble." Jacob started.

"Dad, how would that be good news?" Sam asked.

"You're right. I'm sorry Sammy, what's the good news," Jacob asked.

"Well, Jack is the commanding officer of SG-1," Sam stated.

"That's not news, Sam," Jacob claims.

"And I am the commanding officer of SG-11," Sam stated and smiled.

"Wait, what Commanding officer, Holly Hannah, congratulations," Jacob stated.

"So, SG-11?" Jacob asked.

"The SGC got reorganized, Sam's team is the lead science crew, her Danny-boy, and Dr. Michelle Sylan. All pretty great." Jack stated.

Jacob smiled again.

"Wow, sweetie I that's incredible. I'm so happy for you," Jacob stated.

"Thanks, Dad," Sam stated.

"So celebratory pizza, how about some cake I can run and get cake," Jack stated.

Sam laughed.

"Whatever you want, Jack," Sam claimed.

"Alright, I'll run and get some stuff," Jack stated.

Sam nodded. Jack went back to the spare room and switched back to his jeans, slipped his shoes on, and went out for the needed supplies.

"So you and Jack?" Jacob asked.

"Yeah, Dad," Sam smiled.

"I'm happy for the two of you, as long as your happy," Jacob stated.

"I am," Sam stated.

"And that, Laria girl?" Jacob asked.

"It's not an issue. Apparently, she had her eyes on some other man that had come through the gate, and when he had been missing all that time and returned, she told him how she felt. Apparently, she insisted Jack to do the same with me." Sam smiled.

"So no baby," Jacob asked.

"No, baby," Sam stated.

"I hope this works out for the two of you, God knows you deserve it," Jacob stated.

Sam smiled and said, thanks.

"So how are you feeling? Should I go to stay somewhere else?" Jacob asked.

"Of course not, dad, I want you here. I'm glad you're here. I'm just a little tired, I'll be fine." Sam insisted. "How long are you here?" Sam asked.

"This time I got a little while, the Tokra have been trying to stay quiet for now. Selmack and I are known to make quite a bit of noise, so they were happy to send us off for a few weeks." Jacob claimed.

Sam smiled and laughed.

"Good, I'm glad your home, dad."

"Me too, Sammy," Jacob claimed.
