Well, when I stretched my neck to see what they were talking about, and, well... okay, let me tell you, it was not a pretty sight!
A woman with the lower part of her body as Lion... and something else as well. You may think that after looking at Ms. Dodds and the Minotaur it was not a surprise but to tell you the fact it indeed was.
The worst thing of all was that she was directly looking at my eyes like you see in tv where two lion are gonna fight and first they snarl at each other and the next thing they do
"RUN!" I screamed when I realised what she was up to.
"Mar, you need to go! She wants me. You run and maybe Luke isn't bad," I told Marion and then without any second glance jumped on the Lion Woman.
I turned my hands into a spider's and then , well you won't believe but I was no less than Ol'Spidy himself!
I made a thick boundary by tsk tsk shooting webs so that Marion, Percy and Annabeth had enough time to escape.
Then well I would say the Lion woman had to go through the pain of a mosquito bite in her eyes. Well, I was not bad!
Looks I was wrong yet again!
The Lion Woman was stronger than I assumed. It fact what I assumed, she was way beyond that! If she was like a well grown strong and alert lioness I had kinda imagined her to be a, okay well this isn't funny but I imagined her to be a... well... a new born cub.
She threw me from her back, and I had a pretty hard fall! I was certain that my leg was broken. The only thing that I had near me was the bag Clarrise had given me. But I had no time to think that creature was pouncing on me and believe me or not the weirdest thing was that I could see that in Slow Motion. I threw the bag on her, that was the best I could do after broken legs.
Well the next thing that happened was AWESOME! That bag changed into a spear and knocked the lion lady off as she turned into dust.
"Well attaboy I guess you weren't bad and neither were us" Standing behind me were Annabeth, Marion and Percy
"You guys"I looked at the ceiling, the bag was hanging from the ceiling with an arrow and the spear was now I remember I had seen Annabeth training with.
"We couldn't leave you behind could we bro? C'mon lemme help you get up" Percy helped me up
Marion had tears in her eyes
"Thanks Marion, I sense you were the one with the arrows? Well lighting fast shot."
"Robin why do you always charge onto any monster? Aunt May... at least think about her. You don't need to be brave always sometimes staying back is bravery."
"Actually, It's the fatal flaw of a lot of children of Athena. They have pride, they think they can do anything" Annabeth said
"Well, its over lets go we need to hurry up," I changed the topic.
"I am hungry, Did you guys bring something?" Annabeth asked
"This I the best we could do," Marion took out an arrow which acted as a hanger to Nachos
"Well, guys I think you both need to keep a low profile, its like you are getting stronger day by day. Its attracting Monsters" Annabeth said
"Look Captain, we are gonna make it." I said
Annabeth and I took the watch this time while Marion and Percy took some rest.
The train came to a sudden halt. Announcement was made – "Due to a storm we are gonna have to stop the train. Kindly be patient it's for your own safety."
We woke Marion and Percy
"Looks like Zeus is really angry," Marion said
"We need to jump of the bridge to the river"
"Are you mad Percy?"
"See, we have limited time and the next way the bridge is too high more near the sky. Zeus will kill us"
"I agree with Percy" I said
" I'll make an air bubble, lets go"
And then we pushed hesitant Captain Chase and jumped from the Windows.
Well the Water was Cold!
