Leasmom- Seriously… You are giving Jason no chance to deal with his new reality. He hasn't been with Sam for 7 years and has only been home for a few days. Elizabeth is putting her boys first. Jason isn't with Liz to put her first. Yup, Drew did, and then Liz lied to him which is her fault, not his.
Well, there's a big Elizabeth twist in this one. It might seem a little far-fetched, but it's a soap, people. Lol.
Chapter 19
Jake is trembling, not out of fear but anger because he can't do a damn thing stuck in a closet without a weapon.
Hearing the door to the room open, he regrets not carrying a knife and mentally prepares for battle. He had been running late when Maximus had summoned him, so he had left his gun in the glove compartment of the car. Thankfully, Cam was at his office with Milo which is off-site.
Johnny and Francis had cleared the house. There are several wounded and dead guards that Salvatore had left in his wake.
"Jake," Francis said loudly.
Recognizing his voice, Jake threw the door open. "How bad is it?"
"It's not good. Max and Maximus are not in the panic rooms."
"They didn't have time. Sal was everywhere. Where is my family?"
"Your mom is in the panic room at the house and Aidan is at a safe house. Cam is safe."
Jake began to pace. "What are we going to do? We can't let anyone take what Maximus has built here. I'm surprised Sal didn't burn it down."
"He wants Maximus to suffer knowing everything will eventually be taken. Come on, let's go back to the house. Everyone is on the way."
Johnny called a cleanup and other guards to protect what was left. They are on high alert at all of the warehouses."
They drive back to the lake house in silence. Each thinking about what they need to do.
When they got to the house, Elizabeth rushes toward Jake and grips him tightly.
"Mom, I can't breathe."
Her eyes are filled with tears. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, but they are gone."
"I hate to break this up, but my flight leaves in two hours," Aidan said moving toward them.
Liz groaned. "We'll get you there."
"I'll take him," Johnny said. "We'll use decoys."
Aidan is spending the summer with Lucky. In a way, Liz is relieved that he won't be around and he'll be safe.
He ran upstairs to finish packing.
Liz called Lucky and explained things. While her ex was mad that his son was in danger, he agrees that it's for the best that Aidan stays with him until everything is resolved.
Jake stared out the window and is happy to see Cam get out of the car and rush toward the house.
"Is everyone okay?" Cam asked.
"Yes," Jake said.
Elizabeth gave Cam a hug. "I'm glad that you're alright."
"I didn't even know there was a problem until we were driving here and Milo filled me in."
Liz looked past him and motioned for Milo to move forward. "I'm sorry."
Milo nodded and then is surprised when Liz embraces him.
Johnny smiled as the youngest Giambetti turned red.
"I'm ready," Aidan said holding a giant duffle bag and backpack."
Johnny grabbed the duffle and headed to the truck.
"I love you," Elizabeth said as she cried.
"Don't cry, mom. I'm coming back."
"I know, but I'll miss you so much."
He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'll call you when I get there."
"If you need anything, please call me."
"I will."
Cam and Jake gave him a hug and then Aidan left.
Liz went into the kitchen and surprised them when they eyed her doing a shot.
Cam and Jake glanced at each other and then stared at their mother.
"What? I almost lost all of you. I needed that Tequila."
"We'll talk when Johnny gets back," Francis said. He stepped outside to make a few calls to get some repairs done.
"Jake, what happened?" Liz asked.
Jake sighed. "They ambushed us; they even crashed through the office windows. I was in the hallway with Max, so he pushed me into a room and told me to hide because I didn't have my gun."
Liz is hugging herself as she listened.
"I was mad that I couldn't help them, but my weapon was in the car."
Liz is grateful that Max protected her son.
They sat in silence until Johnny strode back into the house.
"Alright, he's on the plane and I waited until it took off. What's the plan?"

Monica strode into Patient 6's hotel room. He had just found out more about Ava's part in Morgan's death and was wondering if things would have played out differently if he had been around.
"I hope this is a good time. I just had to see you."
"It's fine."
"I just—I'm sorry if I stare but it's so good to see you."
She sat on a couch.
"It's okay."
"This is all such a mess. I don't know how to react and don't want to hurt either one of you."
"You get to feel how you want to feel."
She smiled. "You look good." They had been interrupted before and seeing him never gets old.
"I'm okay. It's an adjustment. I just want you to know that I love you and I'm sorry I gave you such a hard time."
"I understand. We all made mistakes. I'm just glad that you're alive. I can't believe you have a twin. I've been imagining Alan's reaction all morning."
She stood.
"It's okay. I know that you love me. I love you too."
"I love you so much."
They hugged.
"You don't have to worry about me."
"Oh, I will, and I worry about your brother too. He's been good to me and accepting. We developed a bond."
"He's probably easier than me."
"No, he's just different. I love you both and I know that it's going to take time to sort everything out. In the end, I hope you can work it out and be brothers."
"I don't know if that will be possible, but we called a truce for now."
"You have a gift for making the impossible possible, so I won't give up hope." She smiled.
"Mom, were you around Jake?"
Monica nodded. "Yes. I saw him when I could. He was troubled, but he's a good kid, Jason. He looks like you and I miss him. I wish she hadn't of left."
"She must have had a reason. I'll find them once I get some of these things straightened out."
"If anyone can, it's you."
She left him with a lot on his mind.

Carly strode into Sam's apartment. "I'm here to stop you from making a big mistake." She had hated this woman, but seeing Jason so crushed showed her what she needed to do. They had peacefully coexisted since the baby was born and even created a bond because Carly had finally accepted that Sam was going to be a part of Jason's life and it was better than having Elizabeth around. Jason wants his wife, so she is going to do whatever it takes because he deserves some happiness after all he had been through.
"Carly, I already know what you're going to say so you can save it."
"I wanted him back so bad that I gave his life to someone else and convinced you to be with him."
"I chose to be with my husband."
"Come on, Sam. You know it's not him. I know you can't say it aloud, but you need to be honest with yourself. Andrew has been great to you and loves you, but he is not Jason Morgan. I get it. I know this must be crazy for you, but you know the real Jason. When you looked into his eyes you knew. The only reason you are not running into his arms right now is because of your loyalty to the man you slept with last night."
"The speed in which you turned your back on Drew is astounding. You were friends with him. He had your back and now, you act like he is the enemy."
"My loyalty is with Jason. I Andrew is going to fight for you and Jason won't because it's not how he deals with things, but can you honestly say that you'll be happy?"
Sam walked away from her.
"Carly, you need to leave."
A tear rolled down Sam's face as Carly headed into the hallway.

After Jordan informs Anna about the faked death certificate and Franco's claim Andre had been the one that faked them, she is shocked.
"He had been working with the WSB. There was a project that entailed transplanting memories from one twin to another."
Jordan's eyes grew wide. "That's disturbing."
"That is why we abandoned the project, even though it would have been useful for intelligence work, but clearly someone else has their hand in it."
"The question is who?"

As Patient 6 stood on the bridge, his head jerked to the sound of snapping twigs and he's stunned to see Robin.
"Hey."
She grinned. "Hi. I don't know why, but I just knew that you'd be here."
A smile graced his face. "When Sonny told me that you were still alive, I couldn't believe it."
"Imagine my surprise when I found out two Jason's are running around Port Charles."
"It will work out okay."
"How?"
"Once again, Helena is playing with people's lives. Do you believe that it's me?"
"The other Jason saved me from being blown up in an elevator. He has Jason's heart and spirit. Who else can he be?"
"He's my twin brother."
Robin is floored as Patient 6 explained the situation.
"He's not me, Robin. I am the one that was there for all our memories, not him. I just can't believe that you're alive. It would be icing on the cake if you believe me."
Her eyes watered when she remembered him saying that so many years ago.
Realizing she is recalling the conversation, he pressed forward. "It was better than the best."
"Oh, my God, it's you," she said before throwing her arms around him.
Jason closed his eyes as he soaked in her energy.
"I have so much to tell you."
Jason smiled.
"I have a little boy. His name is Noah."
His eyes grew wide.
"It's Patrick's and we're back together."
"Wow. Congratulations."
She pulled out a picture.
"He's beautiful. How is Emma?"
She showed him a picture and he can't believe it.
"What are you going to do about Sam?"
"I don't know. She loves him."
"Admitting she still wants you would mean everything had been a lie. That's a hard thing to face."
Jason nodded.
"They don't have my fingerprints, so we're struggling to figure out who is who."
"You'll figure it out."
"When was the last time that you saw Elizabeth?"
Robin sighed. "It has been a long time. She disappeared and never came back. I saw Jake though."
Jason's eyes brightened. "How did he look?"
"He was so big and still looks like you. Oh, Jason, I'm sorry you can't see him now."
"I'll find them."
"I know you will."

Johnny sat across from Elizabeth.
"What do you know?"
"The tech guys are checking surveillance video. There has been no movement at Sal's compound, so they aren't there. He won't hide out for long. Word is spreading."
"And the business?"
"If we don't do something fast to show that someone is in charge, we'll get attacked by other organizations too, and they'll take what they want until nothing is left."
Jake scoffed. "We can't let that happen."
"Jake…"
"No, mom. Maximus has dedicated his life to building this business. Why can't Milo take over?"
Milo almost turned green.
"He hasn't been mentored and it's just not his thing. Everyone knows that. They will see him as a weak link." Francis held Milo's gaze. "No offense…"
"None taken…"
"Can you or Johnny take over?" Liz asked.
"No. We're outside contractors. We don't have reputations and work mainly undercover," Francis explained.
Jake swallowed hard. "What if there was a spouse involved?"
Cam frowned. "There is none. Besides, are there any women that run an organization?"
Liz glared.
"It's not what you think. I'm just wondered how respected they'd be." It's pretty much a man's world when it comes to the mafia.
"There have been a couple that have taken over briefly and they were mostly respected."
"Then maybe that is the answer."
Liz threw up her hands. "And where are we getting a spouse from?"
Everyone stared at her and then it clicked, and her eyes practically bugged out of her head.
"No! Absolutely not! You're all crazy."
"Mom, we could say you and Max had gotten married. He comes to your shop all the time, so you've been seen together." The man definitely has a sweet tooth.
Elizabeth is stunned. "You are asking me to run a mob organization. Have you lost your minds?"
"No, I haven't. I'm just trying to save my future and the Giambetti's legacy. All of I have done has been for you and this family. Doesn't that mean anything? If the business fails, then I'm done. Everything I dreamed about and worked for is gone. Haven't I lost enough!" He strode out of the house and Liz plopped onto the couch and put her head in her hands.
Cam moved beside her. "Mom, I know this hard because you have a lot of guilt where Jake is concerned, but you'll also end up being a target and that scares the crap out of me."
"He's hurting and I know all the danger. This is like Jason karma."
Francis and Johnny smirked.
"One of our allies is sending backup. They are based in Rome. If you're willing to do this, we'll get the necessary paperwork to back up our claims. You will be protected."
"Can I sleep in a panic room?"
Johnny smirked. "You can if you want. I think it would be better if you stayed in the mansion. They are repairing it as we speak. They don't want the attention on the lake house.
"What happens afterward?"
"We'll help you run everything and once they return, you and Max can get a fake divorce. After everything that goes down, I think it will be understandable."
"So, we'd have to keep up the ruse?"
"Yes, but not for long. Lying to this degree would be frowned upon even if it's for good reason."
She feels like she owes the Giambetti's so much. They saved her life and then there is her son. "I'll do it."
Cam ran outside to tell Jake.
"Lucky is going to find out."
"Do you think he'd try to take Aidan from you?"
"No, because Aidan wouldn't agree and at his age, he'd have a say."
"I'm hoping this won't be long and drawn out, but it might take a while to get them back. Salvatore has been planning this for months and is ahead of the game."
"What's our first move?"
"Today, we announce that the wedding occurred last week. If we hurry, we can make the evening paper. By tomorrow, Maximus and Max's disappearance will be a well-spread rumor. We'll also spread the word that you will be acting as a figurehead with Milo by your side."
"This is crazy."
"Well, I guess Lizzie will get to come out to play," Francis said.
Liz shook her head. "I'll need a lot of wine to get through this."
"You're in luck, he has a wine cellar and it was not damaged. Go pack. We'll move you in there later tonight. The new guards will be in place by then."
"Won't they question why there wasn't a big wedding?"
"Yes, but we can explain that you had already been married so wanted something small and that you were planning a big party to celebrate."
Jake moved from the doorway and hugged his mom. "Thank you."
"You have to promise that you're not going to go off without thinking. We all have a part to play, Jake. Carlos was injured, but he was just grazed, so he'll still be the acting enforcer. Make sure that you don't go off on your own."
"Okay."
"Thank you. Now, let's go pack."
The boys and Liz headed upstairs.
