Post-Note: Hey guys, so it seems that there's a glitch in the system as of the last couple chapters, and it looks like reviews have been getting removed somehow. I've still been getting the emails when they come in, but the reply link from there becomes unusable due to the review disappearing. If you've ever left a bad review, you'd already know that i don't filter what's on my readers' minds, so it's very disappointing to me to find this out. It seems that reviews posted to chapter 23 are fine, so if you'd rather do that or message me with your review, that'd be wonderful!

Chapter 25: Journey

A couple of days had passed, and the faculty had arranged for the bus rental, the living arrangements for stops on the way, the rooms for the hotels at the bath house town, and permission to leave the exhibition path to stay on the Son's land. The morning following, Gohan's class had gathered outside of the dorms. "Attention, Class 1-A!" Iida yelled, grabbing everyone's attention. "Please board the bus in a neat and orderly fashion!" He said as everyone looked at him.

"Iida, wouldn't it be best if we put our stuff away?" Kaminari chimed in, pointing to the empty compartments under the bus.

"R-Right! My apologies! Please proceed to secure your luggage under the bus, and diligently proceed to boarding the bus." He said, correcting his previous statement.

As Gohan tucked his suitcase into the corner, he heard his teacher call his name. "Gohan." Aizawa said, hanging by the back corner of the bus. "Don't forget what I told you, yesterday." He told him sternly.

"Right, sir!" With a nod, Gohan proceeded to board the passenger charter bus.

"Come on!" Android 21 said, throwing her arm around his neck. "Stop being such a worrywart, ya big, tough, softie! I promise ya that not one hair'll be missing off any of their lil' heads." She told him.

"Get off of me. And at least talk like you're a teacher at this school." He said coldly.

"Ugh, such a buzzkill!" She groaned. "Don't worry, I'm sure you could use some R&R as well. Once we get to that hot spring, I'll even help you loosen up, myself."

Aizawa began to quickly get annoyed by the elbow poking into his ribcage. "Don't even think of trying anything on me. I'll tie you up and have you hanging from the roof." He growled, walking away from the new teacher.

"Yeesh, threaten me with a good time, why don't you?" She said to herself before joining the class on the bus.

Before long, the bus began its long journey, and several students had already fallen asleep. "So Gohan," Midoriya said, "how did you manage to get Mr. Aizawa to say yes?"

"Well, the main issue was funding, so I gave an old friend of mine a call." He explained.

Ashido peeked over the seat, chiming into the conversation. "You have a friend who can fund a school trip like this? It sounds like he's pretty loaded."

"Yeah, I guess you can say that…" Gohan told them with a nervous chuckle. "Although, it's really thanks to Ms. Kyoka that we can even take this trip. Under her eyes, we're guaranteed to stay safe!" Gohan told them, smiling wide.

"Not that you, of all people, really need it." Asui said, sitting up to see the students behind her. "Thinking back on it, she's the only person I've ever seen give you any kind of trouble."

"Yeah, she sure is manly, no doubt." Kirishima clenched his fist with a triumphant smile while Mineta began to drool.

"Manly, my ass! She's way more bodacious than Mt. Lady, with all the power to back it up! Maybe on this trip...I'll be able to see…" Asui's tongue swung out of her mouth and slapped Mineta across the face, however, it seemed to barely faze him at this point.

"I want to remind you all that, while you'll be free to use the hot springs at the directed times, I expect you all to be on your best behavior. If I find anybody snooping around where they shouldn't be, I'll make an example out of you! Do I make myself clear?!" Aizawa said, no doubt glaring daggers at Mineta.

"YES, SIR!" The class responded in unison, waking up the students who were asleep. Yaoyarozu, Koda, Sero, and Hagakure rubbed their eyes, emerging from their slumber.

"Are we there, yet?" Hagakure drowsily said with a yawn.

"We're only about thirty minutes out, Hagakure." Kaminari told her.

"Man! Why does everyone have to be so loud then?!" She growled. Gohan noticed a particular change in Hagakure since they first met. She was a little more spicy with people, the same way she demanded that he stayed in bed when he was dealing with the Onset Ki Disorder. In a lot of ways, it reminded him of his mother.

"Hey! I don't hear Yaoyorozu complaining!" Kaminari bit back, pointing behind him to the second seat back.

"Oui! Mademoiselle briefly awoke, but went back to sleep without so much as a peep!" Aoyama butted in. "Très magnifique!"

While the small group bickered quietly, so as to not wake Yaoyorozu again, Bakugo got up and made his way to the restroom. Before long, the argument between the small group was over, and Hagakure drifted back to sleep. "Hey, Gohan." Kaminari said, tapping him on the shoulder.

"What is it, Denki?" He asked.

"I wanted to ask Midoriya about new ways to use my Quirk. Would you mind switching with me?"

"Yeah, that's no problem." Gohan got up and the two shuffled past each other. Instantly, Kaminari started talking to Midoirya, and Gohan pulled out his phone to text his mother.

'I'm happy Bulma gave us these smartphones, they're so versatile :)' He typed before pushing send. Along with the message, he took a picture of himself with a peace sign, and pushed the little arrow to send it through.

Roughly ten minutes had passed by before she had a chance to respond. 'Hey, honey! So sorry, I'm still getting used to this thing. Yeah, it was really nice of her. You're on a bus, are you going somewhere?'

'Yeah, we're going on a field trip! I managed to convince Mr. Aizawa to let us go.' He responded.

'I'm happy to hear. I have to get back to preparing breakfast, so I have to go. You look just as cute as ever in your uniform! ^_^' Seeing his mother's message made him smile as another one came through. 'Love you, son!'

'Love you, too, mom!' He sent as a weight suddenly pressed on his shoulder. Looking to his side, a uniform floated above the seat, leaning towards him. "H-Hagakure!?" He said as he realized that she was leaning on him. "Hey, Hagakure?"

In response, Hagakure began to lightly snore. Not enough to sound fake, but quietly enough so that people couldn't say she doesn't normally snore, making it difficult to tell whether she was really asleep. Regardless, Gohan just left her be, leaning back in his seat. Her warmth was always comforting, and before long, he didn't even realize that he was falling asleep until his vision faded to black.

"G-Gohan!?" Hagakure shouted, waking up Gohan.

"Huh?" With the light returning to his vision, the Saiyan slowly came to. "Toru?"

"When d-did you get there?! What happened to K-Kami-nari?" She asked, scrambling to find her words.

With a yawn, Gohan stretched his arms out. "He said he wanted to switch so that he could talk to Izuku." Gohan told her, pointing over to them.

Kaminari gave a thumbs-up as he raised his phone, displaying a photo of Hagakure's floating uniform leaning against Gohan. "I think it's pretty cute, don't you think?"

"Kaminari! Delete that right now!" She demanded, making an attempt to reach the phone.

Gohan's cheeks turned red as he got up to go wash his face.

"How long has it been?" He heard Uraraka say as he ducked into the restroom.

"I think it's been about four hours since we've left the school." Asui answered, pressing a finger to her chin. "Ribbit."

"Wow, that long already?!" She said, standing up and taking a stretch.

"You can't feel it in your butt, Uraraka?" Mineta asked as Asui's tongue whipped out to slap him across the face. "What was that for?! I was only asking if her butt was numb because that's what happens when you sit for too long!" He shouted, earning another slap.

"Knowing you, Mineta, that was probably going to lead to something perverted. Ribbit." She told him as her tongue retracted into her mouth.

"Man, I can't wait to get there! Not only do we get to train, but we can relax after training!" Kirishima said, pumping his fist. "What are you gonna work on, Ashido?"

"Probably the distance I can shoot my acid. Ms. Kyoka was telling me that I need to shoot it with a lot more force before I can make it stream in a straight line." She explained, pointing her finger forward.

"Hey," Kyoka said to the bus driver, "pull over and I'll take over for you. It's dangerous for one person to drive for so long."

"I appreciate it, ma'am, but you need to be licensed to operate a bus like this." He responded, much to Kyoka's dismay.

She made an attempt to try and persuade him. "I'm trying to do you a favor. Don't worry, I've driven a bus like this on numerous occasions, some of which were more dangerous than some school trip. I can handle it."

"Alright, lady, as long as you don't cost me my job." He told him as he pulled over at a gas station, unbuckling his seat belt. "I'll go ahead and fill it up for you, but seriously, just watch what you're doing." He told her as he stepped out of the bus.

"What are you doing?" Aizawa asked her.

"I've always wanted to drive a bus for a bunch of students! It's been a dream of mine for so long!" She explained, holding her hands together gleefully.

"For how long, exactly?"

"About three or four hours, now." She told him with a wink, sticking her tongue out.

All he could do was groan and warn the class. "Listen up. We're taking a rest-stop. If you weren't smart enough to bring snacks or drinks, now would be the time to stock up. Be back on the bus in thirty minutes, otherwise I'll have you training the hardest, and you'll be banned from the bath houses." Aizawa announced. "Even if you decide not to grab anything, at least take five minutes to step off and get a good stretch in. It'll do your body some good. Do I make myself clear?"

"YES, SIR!" The class said in unison as they filed off the bus and took in the scenery of Sano.

"Have you gotten eyes on Kurogiri?" A woman spoke, approaching the much taller, casually-dressed man, growing more disgusted by his lack of professionalism.

With a scoff, the man scratched his head. "Come on, Rift. You know I had no issues tracking him. I found him making trips out to some mountain out in Mutsu. Apparently, he's hiding something major out there."

"What is it?" She asked him.

His hands rested on the bottom of his 'ZOMFG' shirt, which covered the empty belt loops of his blue jeans. "If I knew what it was, I wouldn't be referring to it as 'something major,' now would I?"

"Maybe if you spent less time avoiding your comrades, you'd actually have some help with finding out." She bit back.

"Pfft, we've been over this. The only help I need is Akumu." He said, gesturing to his shadow-clad partner, with nothing more than a plain white mask and a dark cloak and clothes on. "I guarantee you that if I took any one of these guys, I'd get caught much more than I do now. This especially goes to the explosive dwarf and the literal bear and gorilla." He explained, pointing out the men that were being singled out.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING A DWARF, YOU HOMELESS-LOOKING BASTARD!?" The shortest man of the group yelled, raising his fists to the air.

"You see my point?" The casual-dressed man told Rift.

With a groan, she looked up to her subordinate. "Look, Watari. You and Akumu are very important assets to the Atarashi Mirai. The last thing we'd want is to lose you, so just rely on us if you run into any trouble, alright?"

Watari turned around and put his hands in his pockets. "I'll probably have Kurogiri's actions deciphered by the time of my next report, but I can tell you now that it probably isn't related to Eri." He said, looking over his shoulder.

"Continue to observe him anyway. If the League of Villains allied with the Chie Hissaikai, any opportunity that we can have to get to that girl is worth the trouble." She explained, crossing her arms.

After several moments of silence, "Whatever." Watari looked forward and continued, walking out the building as Akumu followed closely behind.

"What am I going to do about those two?" She said to herself as one of the younger members raised their hands.

"We can drown them!" A young woman in her early twenties said, raising her hand.

Her twin followed suit, raising her hand with a suggestion. "No no! Let's burn them!"

"Girls," the large, bear-like man said from behind them, "you heard her before. Their Quirks are too valuable to let anything happen to them." He explained.

"But Teddy, Watari is just an asshole! And Akumu doesn't do anything besides follow him around! Besides, I'm sure we can find another person with a Quirk like Shadow Trail!" The twin with azure blue hair spoke, raising one finger.

"Yeah!" The other twin, presenting vermillion red hair, spoke. "Doesn't Watari have a little sister? We can blackmail her into helping us!" Her fist slammed against her palm with a hungry smile.

"Nana, Lala, I'm almost completely positive that a Hero isn't going to just up-and-switch to our side." A woman with feathered blond hair spoke. "Besides, it's risky because we aren't sure whether her Quirk is as useful as her brother's."

"Come on, Angel! That's not fair!" Lala, the red-haired twin, whined.

"Yeah!" Nana, the blue-haired twin, continued. "You need to be willing to take chances!"

"I say it might be worth trying to check out." A man bearing black spandex and armor similar to what the Saiyans wore chimed in.

"Shut up, rubberband!" Lala shouted.

"Yeah, nobody asked you!" Nana followed.

"Now, now, girls, let's calm down." The gargantuan, bear-like man said as he picked up the twins and rested them on his shoulders. "There's no need to snap at Taka, like that."

"He started it." Nana complained.

"Yeah, it's his fault." Lala agreed.

"But regardless, that's no reason to snap at someone." He told them. "So, Rift."

"What is it, Ursene?" She asked him.

"What's our next move?" His eyes were focused, and his voice was stern. He needed to make sure everyone paid attention.

All eyes were on her. Despite her small stature, she always knew how to lead, making the best of bad situations, being able to adjust for additional contingency plans on the spot. "We continue to await observation reports of both the League of Villains and the Chie Hissaikai. The biggest threat to us is Tomura Shigaraki, and Kai Chisaki. Once we can get them out of the picture, we can recruit a young girl that's being held under Chisaki's grasp. With her Quirk, we can make our dream come true. Until then, continue to lay low, and refine your skills." She announced, turning away from the large group of nine. "Dismissed."
