So here's Day 6! We're down to the top 8! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Day 6

Briar Dogwood, 14, D7 Male

We had no food. All of us were hungry. Even though we all were from the districts, we had three meals most days. And now we were down to none. There was no water, and no matter how much we looked, we couldn't find any animals. I ho[ped that there would be a feast soon. Or maybe someone would sponsor us. I doubted that would happen though. We had done next to nothing in the Games, minus killing two people. Two people out of however many were already dead.

"Oh my god, guys come look at this!" Emalynn exclaimed. "We got a sponsor gift, and wow is it good! Stew, bread, butter. There's enough to feed all of us!"

"No way," Raylie said. "Why would someone send all of that to us? We've done nothing so far!"

"Maybe they just like us," Jollin said. "Maybe they want us to beat the Careers, so they're feeding us while they starve."

"Yeah, that could be it," I said. "Whatever it might be, we should ration it so that it can last us at least two days."

"ATTENTION ALL TRIBUTES," an automated voice rang across the arena. "IN EXACTLY ONE HOUR, THERE WILL BE A FEAST AT THE CORNUCOPIA. ALL TRIBUTES OCCUPYING THE CORNUCOPIA MUST LEAVE IMMEDIATELY."

"Well let's eat now," Emalynn said. "Since we're going to split up after the feast right?"

"Yeah," Raylie nodded in agreement. The two of us were going to go together and hopefully we'd get another day or two before I have to die to let Raylie win. I wish we could win together. But sadly that could not happen.

The feast was today. We had to leave the cornucopia because that's where it was being held. So Serena and I sat at the edge of the woods, watching the cornucopia. We watched as eight packages were delivered. The second the hour was up,we rushed to the water to get to the island. It seemed like all of the other tributes were there. The four kids were there, and the girl from 10 was there as well. As she dove into the water she disappeared. I immediately noticed a fish swimming where she would've landed.

"Serena, the girl from 10 can shapeshift," I said while my head was out of the water. She just looked at me blankly. She didn't care. We would kill her either way

We got out of the water before all of the other tributes. Serena grabbed her pack and I grabbed mine, then we stood with our weapons up, ready to fight the others. The four kids emerged first. The girl from 9's hands were ablaze and her partner had electricity crackling all around him. The girl with one hand brought her arms up, and the water followed. The one remaining boy stood there, holding a dagger. He didn't have one of the big powers obviously.

This was truly a terrible place for my power. It was all rock and no plants. But I had been training for years, and my training did not include manipulating plant life, so I should be fine.

The girl from 5 pushed her hands forward and water came flying at us. I dove out of the way, narrowly missing getting hit. Serena wasn't so lucky. She got hit head on. But it was fine, she would survive getting hit by water. She was from District 4! But the boy from 7 shot his electricity into the water, electrifying it all. Serena began convulsing, her eyes rolling back into her head. She collapsed. I rushed over and saw that she was still breathing. She was my only competition, so I quickly stabbed her in the heart.

BOOM!

Now to deal with the rest of them.i ran at the boy from 3, assuming he would be the easiest target.

"Stop, now," he said calmly, and I strangely wanted to obey. "Leave us alone. Go somewhere else. And leave your sword here."

So I stopped running, dropped my sword, and then dove into the water, my body disobeying my mind and doing it of its own accord. At least I still had my daggers. Clearly, the boy was not the right target. He would be much harder to kill than I thought. I needed to sneak up on him. That was what I would do, after all this was over.

Stitch Wilson, 12, D8 Female

BOOM! That was the second cannon fired. I hoped it wasn't Shey. She had insisted on going to the feast and getting the packs for both of us. I had walked with her to the edge of the trees, then turned around to go back to the camp. She didn't want me to see what was going to happen during the feast. This morning we woke up with a loaf of bread in a box. It was a sponsor gift. I had one piece left. I knew that Shey would come back with our packs, so I took it out and began eating it slowly, savoring it.

I had just finished the bread when I heard a rustling behind me. I grabbed my dagger and held it up, uncertain of who it might be. A boy stepped out. It was the boy from 2. He was soaking wet and had his pack on his waist. My eyes grew wide. He seemed to be unarmed and he smiled at me. It seemed genuine, but I didn't trust him because he was a Career.

"Are you lost?" he asked.

"N-no," I answered shakily.

"Alright then, if you know where you're going I'll just leave you to it," he said, turning around. But he held his hand up and I saw the trees begin to sway. I started to back away, slowly. But then the trees all around me fell, one of them landing on my leg and another on my chest. I couldn't move and could barely breathe. I should've run away the second I heard something.

The daylight slowly faded away, and I was still under the trees. There was no getting out, and Shey had yet to come back. We were right next to the camp. If she hadn't appeared yet, she wasn't going to. The Capitol anthem played, then showed the girl from 1, 4, and Shey. I made my decision. I pulled my hand with the dagger in it out from under the tree. I held it up, aiming for my heart. I would rather die quickly than by starving to death. I closed my eyes and pushed down. The pain was immediate. My last thought was that I wished I had run away from the boy from 2. My vision blackened.

Thank you MonkeyPower435 for both of the sponsor gifts!

8th: Serena Waters - Serena was a really good tribute. But she was too cocky, and that lead to her demise. Thank you Greywolf44 for her!

7th: Shey Nox - Shey was too nice. And after she lost Falco and Barley, she just kinda gave up. She was an amazing person, just too protective of others. Thank you 04darkwarrior1!

6th: Stitch Wilson - Stitch was amazing. I loved her, she was great. But she just wasn't going to survive without any allies. Thanks Little Clover for her!

Make sure to send in sponsor gifts for the Final Five tributes!
