Bakugo could not have blown his way out of the hospital faster. Not even seconds after the broadcast ended, he was already outside the hospital, having blasted a whole in his room's wall and propelling himself toward his home.

Screaming obscenities all the way there, he eventually reached his house. Not wasting anymore time, he burst through the door, taking the thing right off it's hinges. Storming through the house until he reached his sitting room.

The sight in front of him was bone chilling. His parent's had been strung up like puppets, attached to the ceiling of the room. Both of their eyes and ears were missing. Bakugo began to shake furiously. He spun around in a circle screaming out "WHERE ARE YOU, DEKU!"

'Don't worry, Kacchan. We'll face each other soon enough' a voice came from the pocket of his mother's coat that was lying on the other side of the room.

Bakugo scrambled over to where the voice was coming from and reached into the pocket, pulling out some kind of device. It almost looked like a radio or a walkie-talkie. It wasn't very big, maybe the size of an average mobile phone.

'When I get my hands on you, Deku, I'm going to blow you to pieces' Bakugo declared, not yelling or screaming anymore.

Midoriya laughed. 'Is that so? How are you going to do that without your quirk?' he asked.

'What the hell are you talking about?' Bakugo demanded, only to be hit in the back of his neck with something rather sharp. A needle to be precise. The next thing he felt was some kind of fluid being injected into him.

He heard yet another laugh. Not just from the device this time, but from right behind him as well. He turned around, pulling whatever had just been stuck into his neck out and tossing it aside.

After completing a half turn, he came face to face with Midoriya for the second time in two days. He went to take a step forward, but began to feel really woozy. His vision began to blur as Midoriya laughed again, this time his laugh distorting slightly.

Bakugo dropped to one knee. Midoriya's almost demonic sounding voice filled his ears. 'Don't fight it, Kacchan. You won't be able to withstand it. It's a special something I had cooked up just for you. A quirk canceler that also acts as a tranquilizer of sorts as well. Be prepared for a nice long nap, Kacchan'

'Screw. You. Deku' Bakugo retorted weakly, before collapsing fully on to the blood soaked carpet, his vision going completely black.

A splash of water on his head brought him hurtling back into the real world. He began to cough as he had swallowed some of the water.

After finishing his coughing fit, he began to look around at his surroundings. He was in some kind of abandoned warehouse of sorts, it was slightly dark inside there but he was just able to make it out.

He tried to stand up, or at least move his arms, but found that both his arms and his legs had been tied to a chair. He struggled and struggled against his bonds to no avail. He was completely trapped.

Looking to his left, he saw a slightly ajar door, the light from outside creeping in. Then he turned to his right, and saw the outline of a figure standing in the shadows. Bakugo gritted his teeth before yelling out 'I know that it's you, Deku. So come out where I can see you, you damn nerd!'

Midoriya stepped out from where he was standing, carrying a small bucket that he had used to douse Bakugo in water just a few moments before. He was a lot cleaner now, taking the couple of hours that Bakugo was out to go and get himself washed up a bit.

'Ah. You actually woke up. I wasn't really expecting the whole water thing to work to be honest with you. But hey, we can get started now' Midoriya said. 'I had to make our fight a little fairer, you know. So I permanently erased your quirk. Can't have you blowing me up as soon as the fight starts, can I?'

'That's a cheap move, even for someone like you. You think that taking away my quirk will stop me from beating the hell out of you? Well let me tell you something, I don't need a quirk for this fight!' Bakugo yelled, struggling against his bonds once again.

Midoriya smirked at Bakugo's clear over-confidence in himself. 'One more thing I need to do before we fight, Kacchan' he replied.

He walked toward Bakugo until he was right in front of him. The more steps Midoriya took, the more Bakugo struggled to get out. He stopped his struggling as he felt an severe pain shooting through his stomach.

He looked down to see a rather large knife protruding from the origin point of that pain. 'The other thing is that you have about six minutes to beat me and get to a hospital before you bleed to death' Midoriya told him.

He then gave Bakugo a headbutt, taking the moment where his opponent was reeling to undo his bonds and step back. As soon as he recovered, Bakugo leaped out of the chair and onto the retreating Midoriya.

He landed on top of the villain and started to hammer away at his face. Midoriya slashed aimlessly with his knife, catching Bakugo's arm a few times. After about thirty seconds or so of just getting pounded, Midoriya managed to kick Bakugo off of him, then give him a solid kick to his gut wound as well.

He sprang to his feet, and threw the knife, which Bakugo just barely managed to dodge. It was now is turn to go on the offensive, connecting with a flurry of quick punches and kicks to Bakugo's face and abdomen.

Bakugo stumbled backwards, trying desperately to keep his balance, but Midoriya was just too quick, and now it was his turn to be knocked to the floor.

A few seconds later Midoriya was now on top of him, hands around his throat and trying to choke him out. Bakugo raked at Midoriya's eyes, giving him the time he needed to recover and get back to his feet again.

He only had about four minutes before he bled to death, which didn't leave a lot of time to stop Midoriya. He was quick to get back on the offensive, but his stomach wound was beginning to slow him down considerably.

Midoriya used that to his advantage and delivered a quick and solid roundhouse kick to the side of Bakugo's head, stunning the hero in training and dropping him to one knee. Another kick to the head and Bakugo was on his back, just barely conscious.

When he saw Midoriya again, the villain had that knife in his hand again. He knelt down beside Bakugo, who was in too much pain to move now. Midoriya raised the knife above his head, ready to bring it down for the finishing blow.

But he was stopped when the door flew open behind him and, before he could react, he received a kick to his back sending him tumbling to the ground and rolling a few feet. When he recovered from the shock of being kicked and sent flying, he sat up to find no one there. Not even Bakugo.

Rather than feel angry or disappointed, Midoriya just smiled. He knew there would be a time when he and Bakugo would face off again. Next time though, only one of them would walk away with their life still intact.

He began to laugh loudly, the sound filling the now empty warehouse. And as his laughter began to die down, the sound of sirens began to fill the air. It was now time for Midoriya to take his leave, and he got up and walked out the back door, laughing once again.
