Chapter 20—
A lot of people have heard that Hollywood is one big happy family. Everyone knowing
everyone; but in this particular story. That was the truth in spades. This is a love story
that will touch your heart in many ways.
Two people with completely different paths in life, literally bump into each other and as
they say 'The rest is history'..
But don't think this story is full of fairytale bibbidy bobbity boo. Two people who have
faced many challenges in their lives finally finding a piece of happiness and their chance
at the ever wished for 'Happily ever after'..
This is their story, told by them, Emmett and Isabella McCarty.. Destiny—a love story…
We can go into their childhood, about taking first steps and first words but that is a
different story. Our story begins just over a decade ago, when two strong willed
individuals take their place in life. Following the dreams they so wanted to make reality.
Isabella Swan, an old sole. Book worm and professional dancer was met with heart ache
at the age of 16 when she lost her mother to cancer. Striving to make her dream of
dancing come true, she moved to Los Angeles to live with her father. Who was chief of
Los Angeles county Sherriff. She excelled at her dancing. Receiving full scholarship to
college.
When Isabella was 19, her father was killed in the line of duty while she auditioned for
the San Francisco Ballet. Her desire for a future in dancing was destroyed. Finding
herself alone in the world she relied on childhood friend Jacob Black, who pushed her to
go back into dancing. He also encouraged her to take her talent for make up to another
level.
Finding her passion for something other than dance, Isabella found a love for
motorcycles. Riding since the age of 16, mastering many tricks and becoming quiet the
artist on the bike. She was sought after by magazines and bike enthusiasts. But finding
her own way to stay off the radar.
At this time a young Emmett McCarty was drafted in the 5th round from USC to the
Chicago bears. The once shy and awkward boy turned into a prime athlete destined for
greatness with the Chicago Bears.
Emmett Enjoyed his first training camp and was gaining popularity with the team and the
town. Also creating quiet the buzz through the sports world.
On July 28th 2006, tragedy struck the young football hopeful, in the way of a car
accident. A drunk driver hit Emmett on his way home from training. His leg busted in 2
places, hip dislocated and his arm broken. His football career was over.
When he returned home, after a few months of physical therapy, childhood friend Jasper
Whitlock encouraged Emmett to audition for a small role in a movie he was in. And as
they say a star was born.
Taking small rolls building his resume, Emmett made his presents known in the very
popular "Dark Blood" Staring alongside of Edward Cullen. Who is also a childhood
friend of Emmett's.
Jasper, Edward and Emmett were the it boys of Hollywood. During the final movie of the
anticipated trilogy, a determined make-up artist running a little late for work. Emmett not
paying attention stepped off a curb and his life was forever changed.
"I knew from the beginning they were it for each other, you could literally feel the energy
they were giving off. I wasn't shocked at all when they clicked" Jasper Whitlock.
Isabella didn't make the greatest impression on Edward though.
"I had seen so many women throw themselves at us because of the trilogy. We were
pretty much completely off the radar until this phenomenon hit. So when they jumped
into dating I was against it. But that didn't last long" Edward Cullen.
Two pieces of a puzzle were connected, and so another member of the family was added.
Alice Whitlock, was a supporter from day one. Along with her father and mother Carlisle
and Esme Cullen, the two power house Director and Producer.
"She completed him, you can't argue with that" Carlisle Cullen.
Before shooting for 'Dark Blood' was completed the two love struck couple, found they
each had a secret passion for dancing.
Finding this piece of information, Esme Cullen found her two stars for 'Destiny'. And
Isabella Swan the Actress was born.
Shocking the critics, the movie was a huge success. Emmett and Isabella were house hold
names. While behind the scenes their personal life was starting on a rollercoaster we all
wanted to enjoy.
Before Christmas that year, Emmett asked Isbella to marry him, at the same time. Her
cousin and best friend Kathryn Grey had captured the heard of Emmett's Best friend
Edward Cullen. The couples were engaged the same weekend while filming in New
York.
Once filming ended, the world tour for 'Dark Blood'. Traveling side by side from country
to country. Enjoying the high life.
Secretly sneaking way to their home in Hawaii. Emmett and Bella were married, and
were also keeping a secret. They were expecting.
Once they returned state side, the tour for Destiny started. During their trip for the movie,
a small scare put Isabella in the hospital.
Fans were elated when they announced after being home that they were indeed expecting
their first child.
Of the course of the next few years, Emmett stared in small roles continuing his acting
career. Isabella enjoyed the time at home with Ethan Charles.
The light of the camera was always waiting for Isabella to return, when she decided to
step back into a roll she was pleasantly surprised that she was expecting their second
child. Emma Jane.
Bringing in the family ties, Carlisle Cullen had a script he was wanting to make into a
movie with the support of his producer wife. He finally got his wish, and 'Letters for her'
was in production.
"I wrote the script 3 years ago. I knew in my head who I wanted, how I wanted it. I was
great full for the support from the studio. Also having the two people I created the roles
for agree; my dream was finally becoming reality" Carlisle Cullen.
That dream was to be short lived, unfortunately coming to a halt by Tanya Dinali and
Calius Volturi.
Two scheming black sheep of Hollywood, tampered with equipment, and almost costing
Isabella her life and the life of her unborn child, whom at the time didn't know she was
expecting.
The gods must have been on their side, Isabella making a full recovery and is currently 7
months pregnant.
"Here we are at their home in Malibu, and I am pleased to introduce for the first time on
television. Ethan Charles and Emma Jane." Barbra said.
"Can you say hi to the camera?" Bella asked Ethan.
"HI" he said quietly waiving at the camera. Emma just smiled and ran away. Ethan
quickly followed.
"OK well that covers that" Emmett said, making everyone laugh lightly.
"So how are you both?" Barbra asked.
"Honestly now that the drama is over, we couldn't be happier" Bella said rubbing her
belly.
The last several months, dealing with the media while also finishing up the filming for
her latest movie. Their world was turned upside down. Having the support of their
family. Having her best friend also pregnant, helped to keep Isabella's priorities in check.
The trial and conviction of Tanya and Calius was swift after a plea bargain was reached.
Finding a chance to relax, and get ready for their upcoming little one.
"We were shocked to say the least, but I couldn't be happier. I've always wanted a big
family" Emmett said.
"Neither one of us have any siblings by blood. We both wanted a large family." Isabella
said.
And they were well on their way.
"So now you have the chance to set the record straight, letting your voice be heard. So
let's hear it" Barbra said.
"Well, so much of the media is wrong. Everything from me having an affair with
Edward, to caring his love child, also with Emmett being the father of Edward's twins.
Since we were married the rumors did slow but never truly stopped. Now after everything
happened we just felt it was time to answer the questions everyone is scared to ask."
Isabella said.
"So holding nothing back, are you sure?" Barbra asked
"Absolutely ask away" Emmett answered.
"Are any of the rumors true about you and Edward?" Barbra asked Isabella.
"Edward and I had the instant relationship of annoying brother meets annoying sister. I
have a smart mouth and I was not taken by his popularity. I honestly called him out on it.
He was the brother I never wanted but secretly loved. I have never had any romantic
feelings for Edward. Now that he's Married to my best friend and cousin I couldn't be
happier for him" Isabella answered
"How did you handle the rumors?" Barbra asked Emmett.
"Honestly I found it hilarious. I never once believed them, if you saw Bella and Edward
together. You knew there wasn't anything there that I had to worry about. She actually
gave him hell from day one, making me fall even harder for her knowing she could hold
her own" Emmett said.
"What about the issue with tampering on your recent movie?" Barbra asked Isabella.
"We didn't know what to think at first. We stayed professional through it all. I didn't
want to disappoint Carlisle or Esme. Or the studio for that matter. I was so much more
nervous about this role than Destiny. I guess it was because I couldn't fall back on my
dancing with this movie. We listened to our reps and the lawyers and just stayed out of
the way knowing Justice would eventually win." Isabella said
I was invited to their home to enjoy the day with their family. People in and out, and
children running around and babies crying.
Edward and Kate Cullen arrived for a late breakfast, bringing their twins. Abigal and
Anthony, who made their debut two months ago.
Eleazar and Carmen McCarty, are Emmett's parents and it will be hard to find two
parents who are more proud of their children than these two are of their kids.
"Now to family matters, your father had a heart attack that resulted in surgery before
'Dark Blood'. How is everything now?" Barbra asked
"Yeah, defiantly sent us for a loop, I don't think I would have made it through
emotionally if it wasn't for Bella" Emmett said
Fortunately dealing with one family matter was enough for this couple. Grabbing the bull
by the horns, they secretly married at their home in Hawaii. Starting a family while never
letting go of their passion completely.
"So tell me about 'Soles for toes'?" Barbra asked.
"Well after Destiny was released and we realized how much dance was appreciated, we
started the foundation. We had backing from our families as well as other members of
Hollywood who are as passionate about dance as we are. We did our research and we
were able to put together studios in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami and
Boston. The foundation allowed students to teach younger children what they could. We
had teachers donate their time to run clinics and performances. We received funding from
the public as well as private groups. We couldn't be happier with the end result." Isabella
said.
Since opening 'Soles for Toes', they have expanded even further, to Seattle, Portland,
Phoenix and Huston. Isabella also took to the stage to award one of her mentors an
Acknowledgement from the academy. Maggie Siobhan.
"So how nervous were you?" Barbra asked
"Add in the hormones and the water weight, I was just 'Peachy'. I have known Maggie
for many years. She was actually the one who saw me audition for the Ballet. After
Destiny was released her people called my people. We talked endlessly over the phone
and via email. She has a home in Ireland, but when she is state side we always make time
for each other. She's the one who helped Emmett and I with our organization. She really
helped us break down everything we needed, we wouldn't have it if it wasn't for her.
When I got the call from my Agent about the award I didn't have to think twice" Isabella
said..
Isabella a vision in green and sporting a very large baby bump to the stage at the academy
awards. Her speech, went into detail about Maggie's career and touched on everything
Maggie holds dear.
"I was honored with the opportunity to do something so special for my friend." Isabella
said.
Now that we are moving forward, a new chapter in their lives is ready to open with the
addition to their family. Baby number three.
"So do we know if it's a boy or girl?" Barbra asked.
"Actually we do know and are proud to say, hopefully in a few weeks Embry Maxwell
will make his appearance" Emmett said rubbing Isabella's belly.
"How are the kids? Are they ready for a new sibling?" Barbra asked.
"Ethan is so excited, we let him go with us to the doctors. He wanted a brother really
badly. EJ on the other hand doesn't completely understand, but I know she'll be a great
big sister." Emmett said.
"So is the McCarty family going to be the newest Brady Bunch?" Barbra asked.
"We're not sure, having 3 kids under the age of 5 is going to be hard, so we will see what
happens" Bella said winking at Emmett.
So there you have it, a Hollywood love story that appears to have a happy ending. With
'Letters to her' ready to release in 4 months, their lives will once again be turned upside
down. But according to this amazing family.
