After watching their shuffle between one home and another for months on end. The couple decided to put an end to the back and forth by selling both their homes and buying a new house that the family shared together. Labeled a modern was a black roof. Multiple windows which filled the home with natural sunlight. 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,a home office,a laundry room, A large front porch. Fenced in backyard. A sheltered patio area and a pool.

Brooke placed down the last of plates filled with breakfast food. The consuming aroma of Chai Tea went throughout the kitchen and dining.

Lucas smiled up at her.

Feeling his gaze on her she looked up. Smiling back at him.

"Stop looking at me like that." She said.

"Can't i marvel in awe of my stunning girlfriend." Lucas replied.

"Yes you can but looking is all that can happen. I can't be late opening the store again." Brooke said.

I guess looking forward to our future weekend away will have to be enough." Lucas replied.

Brooke leaned over kissing him. Caressing his face with her hand.

"Patience my love." She said.

Footsteps came rapidly down the stairs. The couple pulled their attention away from each other.

"Morning ." Tristan said. Before taking his seat at the dining room table.

"Good morning my boy." Lucas replied.

"Morning Tris." Brooke replied.

"I have photography club after school today. And i'll walk home so no need to think twice about it." Tristan said.

"About time the two of you woke up. Breakfast is getting cold. Is everything okay.?" Lucas asked.

"Good morning." Brooke said. Smiling warmly at her children.

Angela and Asher looked to each other then back at their parents.

"What's going on.?" Brooke asked.

Tristan looked down at his newest text message and stared at his siblings.

"Time for a family meeting." Tristan announced.

The couple looked to each other then back at their son.

"During breakfast.?" Brooke asked.

"The minute you turn on you're phones. You'll see what's really going on. There are multiple pictures going around with me and Austin. I guess it was paparazzi." Angela explained.

"Who's Austin.?" Brooke asked.

"My boyfriend of the last 6 months." Angela confessed.

"So you've been sneaking around and lying to us by dating this guy all this time. Why not just be honest with us.?" Lucas asked.

"Because i didn't think you would understand. The rule is 16 and that isn't for 2 years. So i thought it would be better keeping it a secret. I'm sorry i lied to the both of you for this long." Angela said.

"You've been dating this boy for months. And we've never met him. So it's time for that change. Invite him for dinner with us all. For Friday. It's only right we meet the person who has become so important to you." Lucas replied.

"You take the boys to school and i'll take Ang." Brooke proclaimed.

...

Brooke purposely kept the windows up and radio off as she drove.

After driving for awhile she turned to her daughter.

"So tell me all about this boy." Brooke said.

Angela smiled up at her mother. "This talk will just be between us. You won't tell dad about it right.?" The teenager asked.

"Of course. Private girl you say will stay between us." Brooke replied.

"Okay. His full name is Austin Miles. He's smart, loving, protective, well read and is an only child. Has a close relationship with his parents. He can easily be friends with anyone. We met after one of the basketball games i was cheering 's 16. He works at the family run bookstore in town." Angela said.

Brooke listened closely. Already able to see her daughter's feelings for this boy were serious. Which was no surprise but what the mother hadn't seen coming was the words came out of her daughter's mouth next.

"I want to get on birth control. Nothing has happened yet. But i want to be safe and prepared in case it does." Angela announced.

It was then that Brooke pulled over the car to catch her breath. And process what she had just heard.

"Is he pressuring you to do things you aren't ready for.?" Brooke asked.

"No nothing like that. This is my choice. He doesn't even know about it. I love him mom. I'm in love with him." Angela confessed.

Brooke sighed deeply. Love. She knew that feeling well especially during her teenage years. All because of Lucas.

"Alright. I'll make an appointment with my doctor and we'll go from there. I just want you to be careful. Trusting someone with you're heart and you're body in this way especially for the first time is a choice that you can't take back once it happens." Brooke replied.

"I know. This is right. He's it. I don't have any doubts about it and won't have regrets." Angela revealed.
