I'm in between sewing and reading The Pie Equation. SO damn good!
"I'm not going anywhere near her. It's got to be shark week or something. She's got a fucked up look in her eyes," Jake wailed as Bella stood on the mat waiting for him.
All Edward saw from Bella was irritability and frustration. Bella clearly didn't want to be here with these people. Charlie had mentioned that she spent most of her time outside and in the woods around the house.
Edward could see that in her.
This was so interesting to Edward. He'd set the girls against the boys once more, trying to get the girls more prepared to defend themselves, but all the guys were a bunch of pansies, according to Bella. Edward agreed with her, silently.
In turn, Bella was turning out to be enjoying this a little too much today. All her frustrations about being picked on were starting to come out.
"Why don't you just grow a pair and get your ass over here," Bella growled.
"I have a pair, thank you very much, and I'd like them to stay on the outside of my body where they belong, not having some mentalstrating girl see how far she can launch them into my body cavity!" Jake screamed, and Edward laughed.
"Mentalstrating? It's menstruating, you toss-pot! I give up. I'm not doing this because the more he cries like a baby, the more I want to hit him!" Bella shouted and walked out of the room.
"That girl seriously needs to get laid," Jake grumbled.
"ENOUGH!" Edward shouted. The whole group instantly stilled.
"Do you think getting laid is that answer to everything, Jake? Do you really think in that tiny brain of yours that you can calm down and process your emotions by having a quick fuck? That's not how life works! Not once, have any of you, girls and guys included, shown an ounce of respect for anyone else. It's all jokes and innuendos. Life isn't a joke. You're going to walk out of this town and into bigger cities. People are going to see you as fresh meat to fuck you over. They're going to see people who won't take life seriously and fuck you up. Your attitudes need to change, because people older and wiser than you will see you as targets. You think you're 'all that' because you're the big fish in a small pond, but wait until you're out there. You'll see how dangerous your actions really are. Now, if you don't mind, I've got to go and find Bella before she does any damage to herself or others," Edward ranted as he left the gym.
Everyone left in the room was silent.
Do you remember that bit in 'Reproduction'? Add up the days of her, what do you call it? Mentalstration! Hehehehehe.
I think it was about time that Edward got a little angry. Bella is just about to blow and you all get front row seats. That will be fun ;)
