"How ya feeling?"
"Not good." Raph grumbled. He had come down with the stomach flu (or has the stomach bug) so now he couldn't go for patrol.
Just great.
Raph tried to refrain from hissing at Leo as he walked away with Donnie and Mikey. Mikey whipped around just as they left.
"Get welllll soooon!"
Raph grunted in reply as Mikey, too, disappeared.
Splinter arrived with a cup of tea for Raph. Raph grumbled a little, before drinking it. Splinter suggested Raph stop eating solid foods for a while until the stomach bug is gone.
Raph hated that. That meant pizza wasn't a good option.
About to protest, Raph stopped himself when he saw Splinter's tail ride up slightly as if to threaten him.
Raph sighed heavily as he felt slightly nauseous.
Time for some vomiting...

Raph stumbled back into the living room, and dropped himself on the couch. Splinter arrived again with some water.
"Drink," he ordered Raph, "you will feel better." Raph did, and he did feel better.
"Why can't I go for patrol?" Raph asked for the thousandth time that day. Splinter let out a small sigh.
"Because, Raphael, you are not well. You must recover."
"But I'm fine!" Raph argued. Splinter did not reply.
Everytime Raph got the stomach bug he would always lay on the couch grumpily and wait for the time to have nausea and vomit and fever and stuff like that. The day flew by, and Raph, who was dying of boredom, was still on the couch.
"What's taking those guys so long today...?" Raph asked himself. Splinter, who was nearby, answered his question, however, "They have encountered some problems."
"Le-"
"But you are not to help." Splinter smiled as he sensed Raph let out a tiny almost inaudible groan.
Raph plonked himself back down and stares at the ceiling.
There was really nothing to do...

Raph would have probably bored the ceiling empty if looks could make holes. He had inspected every spot on the ceiling, and even counted the flaws on it.
A total of 275.
Raph sighed again, letting his mind wander, when sounds suddenly erupted in the lair.
"Raphie! We're homeeee!" Mikey exclaimed. "We had tons of fun today...!" Mikey rambled on and on, as Donnie pushed past him and headed to Raph.
"You feeling better?"
"Sorta." Raph mumbled, trying to ignore his headache. "I hate this..."
"We know, Raph, we know." Leo appeared beside Donnie.
Raph closed his eyes. There was a moment of silence.
"Don't worry, you'll get better soon, okay?"
"Okay..." Raph opened and eye and looked at Donnie. "Thanks, bros."
"You're welcome." Leo replied, his eyes scanning Raph.
...
Curse the stomach bug.
