The draugr burned and fell to the floor. Pentel's vision was blurred slightly, but she couldn't fall here.
A draugr unleashed a shout, Pentel quickly stepped out of the way and retaliated with a blast of Lightning from the staff, killing the Draugr.
The number of Draugr have only dropped slightly. Pentel was keeping up fine, but she wouldn't be able to forever.
The Draugr just kept coming, and Pentel couldn't rest for a moment.
One draugr swung at her feet, while another swung at her head, she narrowly dodged both and killed them with a bolt of thunder from the staff.
How much time has passed? A minute, or has It been ten…
She unleashed the staff out of desperation, killing around a dozen draugr. As she took a moment to catch her breath, multiple footsteps climbing the stairs alerted her to the fact that there were more draugr.
She fell to one knee.
I don't think I can last…
She turned towards the portal and then noticed Nahkriin's mask.
Do'mah's slash didn't break It, but It definitely dazed Nahkriin. I wonder…
Pentel got up and melted the Ice around Nahkriin, his limp body fell to the floor unceremoniously. She pried the mask off of him and placed It on her. She immediately could feel an Increase In her abilities, she felt re-energized.
Another group of Draugr approached her.
"Fools, you will not pass me!" She yelled.
She Immediately killed the draugr with a shock of thunder in a few moments and approached the top of the stairs. She looked down, a massive amount of draugr stood below her.
She gathered her bearings and waited.
…
Tears fell from Do'mah's eyes. His surroundings changed from the top of Skuldafn to a forest with a path leading down a hill, a thick fog that permeated throughout Sovngarde. He walked down the path, with one thing on his mind.
I have to get back to Pentel, fast.
As Do'mah made his way through the misty realm, he paid no mind to the people around him. He could see Alduin dip Into the mist, and pluck out a fallen soldier or person to devour. After a short walk, he arrived face to face with a man.
"What brings you, wayfarer grim, to wander here, in Sovngarde, souls-end, Shor's gift to honored dead?". The man said to the Khajiit.
Do'mah looked up at the man. He had no shirt on and had a Battle axe on his back.
"Who are you?" Do'mah asked the man.
"I am Tsun, shield-thane to Shor. The Whalebone Bridge he bade me guard and winnow all those souls whose heroic end sent them here, to Shor's lofty hall where welcome, well earned, awaits those I judge fit to join that fellowship of honor." Tsun said, In a proud voice.
"Tsun huh. I'm Do'mah, I'm pursuing the World Eater." Do'mah said.
"A fateful errand. No few have chafed to face the Worm since first he set his soul-snare here at Sovngarde's threshold. But Shor restrained our wrathful onslaught - perhaps, deep counselled, your doom he foresaw." Tsun said while gazing at the fog.
"Tsun, I need to enter the hall of valor." Do'mah said as he took a step towards the bridge.
"No shade are you, as usually here passes, but living, you dare the land of the dead. By what right do you request entry?" Tsun said while looking at the khajiit.
With a sigh, Do'mah replied.
"By right of birth. I am Dragonborn." Do'mah said, as he placed a hand on the hilt of his sword.
"Ah! It's been too long since last I faced a doom-driven hero of the dragon blood." Tsun said with a proud, nostalgic tone.
Do'mah looked on as the man gazed off, likely reminiscing about the heroes of the long past. He then looked back towards the khajiit.
"Living or dead, by decree of Shor, none may pass this perilous bridge 'till I judge them worthy by the warrior's test," Tsun said as he grabbed his battle axe, and got ready for a fight.
"So be it. I'm In a hurry, so I won't hold back!" Do'mah said as he unsheathed his blade.
Do'mah moved first, Swinging at the great warrior who blocked and pushed the strike away with his massive axe. Do'mah retaliated with a blast of his thu'um.
"Fus Ro Dah!" Do'mah shouted with fury.
Tsun walked towards the Khajiit, unphased by the shout, and swung at him.
Do'mah jumped over the strike, and swung at the warriors head, cutting his face.
Tsun stumbled backward but swung again after a moment.
Do'mah froze Tsun's battle axe In ice and proceeded to swing towards the warrior's neck, stopping an Inch away from It.
"Is that good enough?" Do'mah asked, as he caught his breath.
"Definitely you fought well. I find you worthy. It is long since one of the living has entered here. May Shor's favor follow you and your errand." Tsun then let the khajiit pass.
Do'mah unfroze Tsun's axe, and proceeded across the bridge.
…
He walked through the entrance of the hall, amazed at Its size. His eyes then fell upon a Nord standing in front of him.
"Welcome, Dragonborn! Our door has stood empty since Alduin first set his soul-snare here. By Shor's command, we sheathed our blades and ventured not the vale's dark mist. But three await your word to loose their fury upon the perilous foe. Gormlaith the fearless, glad-hearted in battle; Hakon the valiant, heavy-handed warrior; Felldir the Old, far-seeing and grim."
"Good. Let's end this quickly then." Do'mah said as he made his way to the three nords.
After they exchanged greetings, they left the hall of valor and crossed the bridge. They stood at Infront of the bridge and cleared the skies. Alduin's roar could be heard, this was the final battle.
