A/N: I know I've been gone for a while. It's mostly due to once again merely focusing on my YouTube channel and having a dry spell for writing. I'm semi-back now with my decision for who Neesha would be replaced by. None other than Leaf. Here we go. Satoshi Tajiri owns all of Pokémon.

Ash and a pregnant Serena entered the arena for their next match. It was a fellow trainer from Pallet named Leaf. She looked almost like Serena but Ash could, of course, tell the difference. He wouldn't let this look-a-like deter him from victory. The referee announced the same rules Ash had from his last two battles in the finals: 5-on-5 with substitutions at will. Leaf sent out a Ninetales first, leaving him to send Clair out. Clair huffed as she hardly saw a challenge and just used Surf. However, the Ninetales stayed standing. The Ninetales retaliated with a Confuse Ray but Clair saw the signs and dodged it. Clair used Outrage and finished it off. If she was going to get confused, it was going to be by her own hands. Leaf was quick to send out Wigglytuff as soon as Ninetales fainted. Ash, not wanting to risk Clair for the sake of victory, called her back and sent out Jessie. Being a Poison/Dark Type gave her a slight edge. Jessie had launched a Gunk Shot which hit Wigglytuff with full force, knocking it out. When Leaf sent out Vileplume, Ash called Jessie back for May, the proud Burnett Fire/Flying Pokémon roared as she launched a Flamethrower. Again, Ash and his Pokémon were surprised at this one's resilience as it launched a Petal Dance as a shield tactic. Ash used this to his advantage as he had May fly at a high enough altitude to avoid the cyclone wall of petals and aim her Flamethrower down through it. It worked and fainted the Vileplume

As Leaf continued getting frustrated, sent out her Dewgong. Ash, wanting to wait until the absolute last minute to have Serena battle, sent out Gardenia next. Just as an extra precaution, Ash activated the Key Stone and had Gardenia Mega Evolve. Ash also had her set up the usual combo of Leech Seed and Solar Beam. Leaf, not ignorant to Mega Venusaur, had Dewgong use Hail. Seeing the counter-strategy, Ash orders Gardenia to still charge the Solar Beam. This showed that Ash had complete faith in Gardenia and her Special Defenses. Dewgong had used its Blizzard, nearly taking Gardenia out. She was able to hold out and fire Solar Beam in retaliation and fainted the Dewgong. Leaf sighed and sent out her Blastoise and activated her Mega Bracelet. Ash decided to switch out to Serena, seeing as Leaf was using her turn to turn the weather to rain. Ash and Serena got their Z-Move pose done by the time it was activated. With one Z-Move, being 10 Million Volt Thunderbolt, Serena proved she was much more than the Blastoise could handle as it collapsed onto the battlefield and de-evolved back to its basic form. After the referee called it in Ash's favor, Serena took a knee in exhaustion. Ash picked her up to carry her back to the Pokémon Center. After her check-up was complete, Serena and Ash returned to their cabin, ready to find out the next match by tomorrow.

A/N: I know, another non-smut chapter but I'm trying to wait on Ash and Serena to win before he gets busy again. Hope you guys like this chapter regardless. R&R peeps
